J38nB427_p0863a02摘蘆已前,盡大地人均是無事漢,坐于良知府中。渡J38nB427_p0863a03江已後,面壁嵩山,寶惜珍藏,不知鈍躓了多少人家J38nB427_p0863a04男女。由茲群豪蜂起,以致一箭落雙鵰,而有一箭射J38nB427_p0863a05一群者。大鑒之下,五傳而臨濟、德山,加以痛棒熱喝,J38nB427_p0863a06不分皂白,活埋人于千尺井底。今浪和尚自受老人J38nB427_p0863a07缽袋之後,入青城山廿有餘祀,衣草食木,洗月燒枯,J38nB427_p0863a08初有不出人前之語。辛酉佛誕日,老人七旬有二,手J38nB427_p0863a09劄命歸昭覺以繼席焉。余亦奉 簡蜀臬,會同于千J38nB427_p0863a10松樹下,接談間儼如舊識,訝云:「原是舊時人,不改舊J38nB427_p0863a11時行履。」每見上堂小參法語,接物利生,機辯峻捷,大J38nB427_p0863a12有古人風概,不亞諸方尊宿。復示山中钁頭邊、歇涼J38nB427_p0863a13處、書葉劃瓦之句,披閱之餘,如飲甘露,坐清涼池,盪J38nB427_p0863a14淨塵襟,渾超世表。余撫掌而嘆曰:「此老不說隔夜禪,J38nB427_p0863a15亦不畫蛇添足,白湯湯,沒意味,絕鵮啄,勿棲泊。」設有J38nB427_p0863a16緇素請益者,驀伸足云:「此是新鮮佛法,是汝等安身J38nB427_p0863a17立命處,若會得,與正覺山前老漢無二無別;若或未J38nB427_p0863a18然……」復收足云:「還我話頭來。」其作用如是。用劍刃上事J38nB427_p0863a19接人,直下逼生蛇化龍,篤愛搔人痒處,不容謦欬,眨J38nB427_p0863a20得眼來,已落第二機也。康熙癸亥九秋,余特 旨內J38nB427_p0863a21陞,有門人翼雲如鵰者,持稿問序,余從行車中抽茆J38nB427_p0863a22錐子,聊贅數言弁其簡端,乃喝風罵雨之儔,弗敢旁J38nB427_p0863a23綴一辭,未敢云序

序
J38nB427_p0863b12調御師云:「但有言說,都無實義。」孔子曰:「天何言哉?四J38nB427_p0863b13時行,百物生。」其義一也。然摘葉止啼,敲鐘謝響,廣長J38nB427_p0863b14有舌,不妨嚼破虛空芥子,指迷悠然,遍滿法界,燈燈J38nB427_p0863b15相續,照去無明,從來久矣。所貴鐵漢當臺,著手便判,J38nB427_p0863b16豎人天眼目,絕聖凡蹊徑。善乎!吾師丈老人有言:「此J38nB427_p0863b17間無隔宿禪與人參。」旨哉!法兄竹浪和尚,當少年時J38nB427_p0863b18便飽法乳,閱遍三藏,胸中不留一字,閉關涵養,向丈J38nB427_p0863b19老人紅爐裏翻身,鼻孔下垂。遂秉拂,主昭覺三載,大J38nB427_p0863b20振宗風,奪拄杖。予拄杖因人施作,無孔笛、無絃琴,震J38nB427_p0863b21醒聾瞶。又于青城山建立道場,法筵宏邃,雲門餅、趙J38nB427_p0863b22州茶,聽人餐飲,攪長河為酥酪,擊海鯉而傾盆,洵稱J38nB427_p0863b23沒量大人。座下衲子私集上堂語錄,欲以壽世,予謂:J38nB427_p0863b24「和尚終日喫飯,未嘗咬著一粒米,和尚掃之,大眾存J38nB427_p0863b25之,未為不可。」遂援筆而弁其首。

J38nB427_p0863c02鳳林竹浪法姪,繼昭覺吾兄法席有年,又建青城鳳J38nB427_p0863c03林,前後幾二十載,提唱宗乘,舉其綱要,都從自己胸J38nB427_p0863c04襟流出,并不依倚一物,脫體瀟灑。結制、上堂、頌古,偈J38nB427_p0863c05句頗繁,亦不喜人記錄其語。有門人羲哲、羲奇、穎參J38nB427_p0863c06等,竊積成冊。癸酉冬,因奉吾兄之命,東下鋟錦江禪J38nB427_p0863c07燈道經,華嵒、哲奇二子持以見示。余讀之,多所發藥,J38nB427_p0863c08視其所長,猶不僅此。至于躬行楷式,衛護法門,牢堅J38nB427_p0863c09慧命,擔當猶力。余遂爾叮嚀哲奇:「應宜災棗,其庶幾J38nB427_p0863c10乎雙桂門庭不致寥寂也。」故序。

J38nB427_p0863c22青城鳳林竹浪和尚與余同出昭覺之門,向西▆繞J38nB427_p0863c23關三載,踢脫鉤欄,持個鈯斧子直入西山。鳳林與遠J38nB427_p0863c24公之故址為鄰,寺廢已久,破落荒涼,于是卓標卑以J38nB427_p0863c25自牧,數歷秋霜,華弊鼎新,豁然模範,道價日增,洞徹J38nB427_p0863c26十虛。每于罅隙之間、刀耕之暇,拈提機要,雙放雙收,J38nB427_p0863c27目為向上三昧、隨色摩尼,固是騰今耀古,掣轉頹綱,J38nB427_p0863c28正謂祖令當行,殺活全彰,還丹一粒,點鐵成金,而四J38nB427_p0863c29方衲子駢臻履跡,始終鉗鎚,而俾學者翻轉面皮,策J38nB427_p0863c30懈怠為精進,礪根本為慧幢,揭示樞機,隨宜展演,未J38nB427_p0864a01嘗間歇。繩以本分接人,為道為珍,遐邇傾心,緇素嚮J38nB427_p0864a02化,風高玅諾,施平等慈,廢席斬新,頓成寶所,鐘鳴谷J38nB427_p0864a03響,冠絕一時。昭覺老人年登七旬有二,灑然退息,撫J38nB427_p0864a04提藩泉,列大護法,延迴昭覺,代塵三制,張羅鸑鷟,垂J38nB427_p0864a05釣鯨鯢,而鉤針穩蜜,不容滲漏。凡舉揚法會,與佛祖J38nB427_p0864a06衲僧為孽為讎,去縛解粘,巧盡拙出。宗通眼活,拈砒J38nB427_p0864a07霜化作醍醐;照用齊行,掀瓦礫鎔成珍饌。縱橫無礙,J38nB427_p0864a08作用如斯,謂是其人。有得法上首如鵬,持二會語,欲J38nB427_p0864a09下嘉禾,剞劂流通,徵余為序。展閱三復,若風林碧渚,J38nB427_p0864a10地闊天空,俾森羅萬象無得諱藏,明鏡當臺莫逃影J38nB427_p0864a11質。吾師晚年得人孤峻,青出于藍,能碎古佛心髓,信J38nB427_p0864a12托臨濟佳珍,有不可攖之鋒,卓卓超越,偉偉端莊,近J38nB427_p0864a13其精采,望風斂衽,誰敢針頭覓鐵?庶幾悟祖五百餘J38nB427_p0864a14稔之倫風不墜耳。余秖得向虛空釘橛,為缽盂安柄。J38nB427_p0864a15今所序者,惟序吾弟之行履,若生佛已前一段大事J38nB427_p0864a16因緣,請明眼者代一轉語。

序
J38nB427_p0864b02粵維教外別傳,實非文字之學。鍛聖煉凡,須是惡▆J38nB427_p0864b03鉗錘;整頓初機,妙在師嚴。如竹浪禪師參遍諸方,仍J38nB427_p0864b04歸昭覺,于丈和尚麈拂之下而獲妙諦。受托之後,隱J38nB427_p0864b05逸青城,初誓不出人前。有時孤峰頂上目視雲霄,絕J38nB427_p0864b06塵絕跡,為懶瓚、亮座主之儔;有時十字街頭逢場作J38nB427_p0864b07戲,離相離名,乃政黃牛、端獅子之輩。灑灑落落,不挂J38nB427_p0864b08寸絲,以山林為終老之區。殊覺康熙辛酉,丈和尚年J38nB427_p0864b09登耄齡,有二意欲罷釣退閒,偕當道宰官、紳衿緇素,J38nB427_p0864b10手命三復恭迎,繼席祖庭。迫不得已,持莖白棒歸來,J38nB427_p0864b11樹插竿于威鳳山間,俾一切世人偷心死盡;懸赤幟J38nB427_p0864b12于駟馬礄頭,令十方龍象望風相靡。秉吹毛劍,誰敢J38nB427_p0864b13攖鋒?用殺活機,那堪覿面?鉗錘嚴密,水洩不通,雙放J38nB427_p0864b14雙收,頻開樓閣,大有逕庭,不近人情。余自己酉秋試,J38nB427_p0864b15得造昭覺,方炙法體,獲領嘉談,恍如舊識。別後而趨J38nB427_p0864b16宦海,甲戌春復奇覯楚江,舟中偕遊吳越,有門人翼J38nB427_p0864b17雲羲哲自行囊中抽出師之佳稿見示,余讀之不欲J38nB427_p0864b18釋手,喟然曰:「嘗閱宗門中有臨濟、德山用此機要接J38nB427_p0864b19物利生,師之作略不亞先輩,不謬為他家兒孫紹續J38nB427_p0864b20淵源,中興法運代有其人。」見師或出或處,動為則而J38nB427_p0864b21言為法,胸中陶陶然不留一個元字腳。茲不昧訂約J38nB427_p0864b22于三生石上,謹贅數言于篇杪,所謂不立語言文字、J38nB427_p0864b23直指人心、見性成佛之旨,非但余不能述一辭,饒古J38nB427_p0864b24今明哲到者裏結舌有分,余不敢向虛空釘橛也。

J38nB427_p0865b04辛酉四月初一,于鳳林寺受本師手劄,及撫臺杭愛、J38nB427_p0865b05提臺何傅、藩臺劉顯第、臬臺胡昇猷、府尊佟世雍、總J38nB427_p0865b06戎王洪仁、縣公王鼎臣、錦官文武、護法同門、法兄懶J38nB427_p0865b07石、佛冤問潮、都綱司恆一併諸山及檀信等,啟請主J38nB427_p0865b08昭覺。上堂,詣座,云:「無水不藏波,無山不戴雲,師資授J38nB427_p0865b09受,木本水源。」拈帖,云:「見麼?者個是我本師及當道尊J38nB427_p0865b10官、紳衿士庶、同門法兄,于無量劫前積功累德,實證J38nB427_p0865b11親修底,逗到今時,各各打開無盡寶藏,從三昧海中J38nB427_p0865b12流出,言言金石,字字珠璣,命生上座回昭覺,鼎峙化J38nB427_p0865b13門,其中真風奧旨非心所測,仍請表白當陽剖露。」宣J38nB427_p0865b14畢,便陞座。水谷禪師白椎,云:「法筵龍象眾,當觀第一J38nB427_p0865b15義。」乃云:「熏風初展,萬卉齊彰,旭日騰輝,心光普映,如J38nB427_p0865b16斯現成,何勞特地?山野于此卓錫六載,餐霞服霧,矢J38nB427_p0865b17志山林,卑以自牧,蓋為本師七十有二,公案未完,手J38nB427_p0865b18翰下頒,忖思志劣,未敢應承,復煩水谷、天湛二法姪J38nB427_p0865b19率眾來山,敬遵慈旨,不敢違命。憶昔古德云:『去是住J38nB427_p0865b20時因,住是去時果,去住與果因,無可無不可。』敢問大J38nB427_p0865b21眾:去即是?住即是?」良久,云:「若無人判斷,秪得兵隨印J38nB427_p0865b22轉,將逐符行。」結椎,云:「諦觀法王法,法王法如是。」
佛誕,J38nB427_p0865b23入院。 山門。「義不是路,禮亦非門,八字打開,任意縱J38nB427_p0865b24橫。所以道:『十方無碧落,四面亦無門。』」以拄杖擊門限,J38nB427_p0865b25云:「猶有者個在。新長老今日到來,有條扳條,無條扳J38nB427_p0865b26例。」便入。
J38nB427_p0865b27古佛。「同類非身,雖身非類。兜率宮中別來,錦官國J38nB427_p0865b28裏重會。不妨笑裏有刀,第恐泥中有刺。好將布袋緊J38nB427_p0865b29牢拴,無智人前莫漏洩。」
J38nB427_p0865b30韋馱。「分身百億,應化三洲。剎剎塵塵,賴公弘護。現J38nB427_p0865c01將軍身,魔黨潛伏。示菩薩面,正法久住。」
J38nB427_p0865c02佛殿。「本不識汝名,人人云是佛。及我親到來,千足J38nB427_p0865c03與萬足。我若禮你,大同流俗。若不禮你,彼此同住。咄!J38nB427_p0865c04二千六百餘年,惹得多少人東卜西卜。」
J38nB427_p0865c05伽藍。「靈山別後,似久非久。驀匝相逢,元是舊友。此J38nB427_p0865c06大梵剎,賴公固守。」
J38nB427_p0865c07祖師。「你者一夥老胡,捏怪無端,卻將教外別傳之J38nB427_p0865c08旨,不顧本錢,捏扁搓圓。咄!」
J38nB427_p0865c09方丈。「據此室,行此令,魔佛人天來乞命,不是格外J38nB427_p0865c10提持,亦非世諦可論。山僧不順人情,正要諸人露些J38nB427_p0865c11本分。」當日上堂,詣座云:「泥蓮岸邊拾得底,幾乎翻成J38nB427_p0865c12滯貨。四十九年所說者,古今未曾道著。末後人天眾J38nB427_p0865c13前拈花,總是全提殺活。若無迦葉破顏,也是一場懡J38nB427_p0865c14㦬。不肖兒孫不用者些絡索。」便陞。拈香云:「此瓣香爇J38nB427_p0865c15向爐中,端為祝延今上J38nB427_p0865c16皇帝聖躬萬歲萬萬歲,欽願邊邦寧靜,四海晏清,逸J38nB427_p0865c17民野老共樂昇平。」次拈云:「此瓣香奉為本省文武尊J38nB427_p0865c18官、紳衿士庶,伏願股肱王室,柱石法門。」再拈云:「此瓣J38nB427_p0865c19香耑為傳臨濟正宗第三十二世上丈下雪本師醉J38nB427_p0865c20和尚,用酬法乳。」斂衣就座。大慈懶和尚白椎云:「法筵J38nB427_p0865c21龍象眾,當觀第一義。」乃云:「拈花有旨,降誕無生。有旨J38nB427_p0865c22則遞代相承,無生則法身常住。若要正眼流通,務在J38nB427_p0865c23大家力助。所以道:『孤掌不浪鳴,兩手鳴摑摑。』生上座J38nB427_p0865c24自違本院,策蹇青城,株守雲阿,以息餘喘,不覺六稔。J38nB427_p0865c25慈旨三復,命回祖席,助揚法化。兼奉闔省當道尊官J38nB427_p0865c26及同門各出手命,迫不得已,勉強歸來。今日乃吾佛J38nB427_p0865c27世尊降誕之辰,欲為現前四眾說無生法。既曰無生,J38nB427_p0865c28焉有說耶?」驀拈拄杖云:「十年于此曾為客,次補今朝J38nB427_p0865c29作主人。賴有金湯撐化日,法門信起振家聲。」卓拄杖J38nB427_p0865c30下座。
J38nB427_p0866a01洪仁王總戎為父道臻誕辰,請上堂。僧問:「月臨千江,J38nB427_p0866a02那個是本源?」師云:「歲寒蒼翠期松柏。」進云:「忽遇迅風J38nB427_p0866a03競浪時如何棲止?」師云:「鯨波汩汩演三車。」進云:「乞師J38nB427_p0866a04指個泊舟處。」師卓拄杖,云:「會麼?」僧禮拜。乃云:「杲日當J38nB427_p0866a05空,物無私照,法眼圓明,洞徹十方。雀噪鴉鳴,乃觀音J38nB427_p0866a06之教體;水綠山青,悉文殊之境界。頭頭顯露真常,法J38nB427_p0866a07法咸輝本有。正與麼時,與藥師如來同一鼻孔,把手J38nB427_p0866a08並行,十二願海應時具足,即此轉凡成聖,報國忠君,J38nB427_p0866a09獲壽無疆,介爾景福,天恩、地恩、君恩、親恩一時報畢。J38nB427_p0866a10今日因齋慶贊,是我總戎洪仁大檀護為太翁道臻J38nB427_p0866a11老先生嶽降之辰,輿蓋來山,營齋俵嚫,敦請山僧登J38nB427_p0866a12此寶華王座,舉揚個事,用酬罔極。且積慶延齡一句J38nB427_p0866a13作麼生道?」靠拄杖,云:「若無天岸麒麟子,怎得流芳百J38nB427_p0866a14世香?」
J38nB427_p0866a15薦嚴,請上堂。「金風方扇,火向西流,地軸回還,天樞運J38nB427_p0866a16轉,赤帝于斯,剛收律令。恭逢地官赦罪良辰,百艸頭J38nB427_p0866a17邊玉露垂珠,萬木叢中和鳴天籟,此個時節,海內衲J38nB427_p0866a18僧縱橫自在,天下人子報本之時。今日是我鼎臣王J38nB427_p0866a19護法懷香入山建盂蘭大會,追薦先嚴,虔請山僧登J38nB427_p0866a20此猊座,轉大法輪,示真實相,若存若亡,均為兩利。」驀J38nB427_p0866a21呈拄杖,召大眾,云:「即今仙遊皇清誥封驃騎將軍瑞J38nB427_p0866a22軒王老先生,洎西逝聯枝老幼先靈在拄杖頭上現J38nB427_p0866a23神變相,動地放光,異口同音便道:『諸惡莫作,眾善奉J38nB427_p0866a24行,但淨己意,是諸佛教。』此是大人住世時東征西討、J38nB427_p0866a25南攻北伐六十餘稔收拾得底,來借山僧拄杖鼻孔J38nB427_p0866a26出氣,垂訓後裔。若論明明不昧、了了常知,坐斷十方,J38nB427_p0866a27證無生忍,一段大事因緣猶如萬里望崖洲。何故𠰚?J38nB427_p0866a28寸刃不施歌九五,大勳高豎作瑤墀。」
J38nB427_p0866a29辛酉冬結制,上堂,拈香。「此瓣香爇向爐中,耑為祝延J38nB427_p0866a30今上J38nB427_p0866b01皇帝聖躬萬歲萬萬歲,欽願化展羲皇,河清海晏,干J38nB427_p0866b02戈末息,八表無虞,滿朝文武高尚伊周,精忠崇德。」次J38nB427_p0866b03拈云:「此一瓣香奉為本省當道尊官現前期主撫臺J38nB427_p0866b04杭公大護法,願祿位高陞,股肱王室。」末後拈云:「此瓣J38nB427_p0866b05香敬為上丈下雪本師大和尚,以酬報莫報之恩、祝J38nB427_p0866b06無祝之壽。」上首白椎竟,問:「向上宗旨即不問,老人壽J38nB427_p0866b07量有幾何?」師云:「沙界莫能該。」進云:「恁麼則銕笛橫吹,J38nB427_p0866b08金剛不壞。」師云:「贊嘆有分。」問:「如何是第一義諦?」師云:J38nB427_p0866b09「鐘鼓分明。」進云:「恁麼則金聲振出千松碧,祖庭春動J38nB427_p0866b10起潛龍。」師云:「頂門上再亞一隻。」乃云:「擊碎虛空,還他J38nB427_p0866b11[渀-卉+文]量大人手段;社印高提,讓我臨濟兒孫。聞聲悟道,J38nB427_p0866b12見色明心,乃二乘人境界。若約向上一路,本無名狀,J38nB427_p0866b13奚假形聲?千聖出頭,正眼難窺。所以道:『把住則乾坤J38nB427_p0866b14失色,放行則海水騰波。』敢問大眾:把住好?放行好?若J38nB427_p0866b15無人判斷,山僧向第二義門出身去也。今朝乃水官J38nB427_p0866b16解厄之日,諸方結制之期,是我本師七十三齡之辰。」J38nB427_p0866b17以拄杖右邊卓云:「山河大地,一切眾生,乃至百八煩J38nB427_p0866b18惱,一時解脫。」左邊卓云:「十方法界,情與無情,眉毛廝J38nB427_p0866b19結。」中間卓云:「三世諸佛,諸大菩薩,乃至蚑行蠕動,一J38nB427_p0866b20時乘悲願力,示現受生,與我本師老人同一鼻孔,把J38nB427_p0866b21手並行。只如諸方輻湊,四眾景從,又作麼生?」靠拄杖J38nB427_p0866b22云:「千峰勢到嶽邊止,萬派聲歸海上消。」
J38nB427_p0866b23佛冤法兄請上堂。「諸佛慧命,列祖宗猷,天下老和尚J38nB427_p0866b24紀綱,行腳衲僧衣線下事。」拈拂子,云:「盡被昭覺拂子J38nB427_p0866b25一串穿卻。舉起則動地放光,一為無量;放下則萬機J38nB427_p0866b26寢削,無量為一。不舉不放,理事混融,乃佛乃祖各居J38nB427_p0866b27本位,人人腳踏實地,個個鼻孔遼天。今日是我法兄J38nB427_p0866b28佛翁和尚不遠百里而來營齋供眾,請登曲彔木床,J38nB427_p0866b29舉揚佛法,提挈後昆,秖得勉強遵崇,依模畫樣。若論J38nB427_p0866b30佛法二字,一大藏教詮註不破,今古知識未曾道著。J38nB427_p0866c01生上座與麼道,可中若個具眼衲僧出來道:『長老,你J38nB427_p0866c02得恁麼強悍。』到者裏秖得無理可伸,退身有分。且道J38nB427_p0866c03其中意旨如何?」良久,擊禪床,云:「天上有星皆拱北,人J38nB427_p0866c04間無水不潮東。」
J38nB427_p0866c05請古字佛冤和尚,上堂。「摩醯正眼,洞徹十虛;迦陵仙J38nB427_p0866c06音,遍周沙界。」拈拄杖打○云:「者個是摩醯正眼。」復卓J38nB427_p0866c07云:「者個是迦陵仙音。中下之機,對境還迷,直饒聞見J38nB427_p0866c08分明,不無觸途成滯。恁麼則橫揩日月,不恁麼則豎J38nB427_p0866c09抹乾坤。恁麼中有不恁麼,該羅萬有;不恁麼中卻恁J38nB427_p0866c10麼,山僧口門窄,不能下註腳。仰勞大眾同詣我法兄J38nB427_p0866c11和尚前,耑請陞座與諸人道破。」
J38nB427_p0866c12太慈懶和尚請上堂。問:「如何是背塵合覺?」師云:「好鳥J38nB427_p0866c13背人鳴。」進云:「如何是背覺合塵?」師云:「孤峰當面卓。」乃J38nB427_p0866c14云:「大造無私,其奈春先梅吐玉;大位不居,卻有一人J38nB427_p0866c15在上頭。」拈拂子,云:「何如山僧拂子一味平常?乾坤不J38nB427_p0866c16能蓋載,寒暑詎得變遷?語其靜也,風吹不入、雨打不J38nB427_p0866c17溼,日月息威光、山川失鍾秀,百億須彌盧、無邊香水J38nB427_p0866c18海,頭頭爾、法法爾,皆失本名,渾是一枚拂子。教中道:J38nB427_p0866c19『惟此一事實,餘二則非真。』」拂一拂,云:「放開一線,風行J38nB427_p0866c20艸偃,左右逢源,七通八達,上至非非想、下及金剛際,J38nB427_p0866c21塵塵爾、剎剎爾,隨事立名,千差萬別。所以道:『法隨法J38nB427_p0866c22行,法幢隨處建立。』又怎如吾兄懶和尚,為一大事因J38nB427_p0866c23緣出現于世,襟懷秦國山川、袖統昆明日月,懸肘後J38nB427_p0866c24靈符、握吹毛寶劍,衲僧拱手歸降、龍象望風斂衽,末J38nB427_p0866c25後歸來省覲老人,卓錫大聖慈寺。有時孤峰獨立,俯J38nB427_p0866c26視大方,絕塵絕跡;有時十字街頭,逢場作戲,離相離J38nB427_p0866c27名。今日營齋俵嚫,兼命陞座,爛打葛藤,播揚家醜。祖J38nB427_p0866c28師道:『一佛出世,千佛擁衛;一花開敷,萬花周匝。積殊J38nB427_p0866c29勝因,作奇特事。』作麼生是奇特事?」喝云:「諸人耳在一J38nB427_p0866c30聲中,一聲徹入諸人耳。」
J38nB427_p0867a01解制,上堂。問:「如何是十五已前事?」師云:「不得離我者J38nB427_p0867a02裏。」進云:「如何是十五已後事?」師云:「不得住我者裏。」進J38nB427_p0867a03云:「不著前後、不著中間時如何?」師云:「墮坑落塹。」居士J38nB427_p0867a04問:「和尚陞座說法,兩堂雲水作家,個個爪牙具足,解J38nB427_p0867a05制作麼賞罰?」師云:「西溪水滸聲。」進云:「賞罰且止,如何J38nB427_p0867a06是賓中賓?」師云:「且喜居士入門來。」進云:「如何是賓中J38nB427_p0867a07主?」師云:「座上只一人。」進云:「如何是主中主?」師卓拄杖,J38nB427_p0867a08云:「會麼?」進云:「如何是主中賓?」師云:「覿面不相親。」進云:J38nB427_p0867a09「賓主分明,透網鯨鱗,作麼吩咐?」師云:「雷門布鼓挂當J38nB427_p0867a10軒。」進云:「恁麼則搖頭擺尾去也。」師云:「且漫行,恐人不J38nB427_p0867a11肯。」乃云:「寶劍揮空,天魔膽喪,摩竭陀國親行此合,落J38nB427_p0867a12在昭覺手裏,符到奉行。作麼生說個奉行底道理?」呈J38nB427_p0867a13拄杖,云:「秖憑者個橫當宇宙、豎抹乾坤,倒弄顛拈、超J38nB427_p0867a14今邁古,有時將丈六金身作一莖艸用、有時將一莖J38nB427_p0867a15艸作丈六金身用。」舉:「藥山解制,云:『兄弟家東去、西去,J38nB427_p0867a16向萬里無寸艸處去。』有者道:『出門便是艸。』又有道:『未J38nB427_p0867a17出門亦是艸漫漫地。』者一夥老古錐用心不臧,俾一J38nB427_p0867a18切人在艸裏輥。何也𠰚?兄弟家東去、西去,固束腰包、J38nB427_p0867a19緊俏艸鞋。且道:與古人行腳是同?是別?最上一機頻J38nB427_p0867a20履踐,挐雲攫霧任周旋。」
J38nB427_p0867a21昇宇張居士、鵬九毛居士請上堂。「金風微扇,玉露垂J38nB427_p0867a22珠,寒暑迭遷,韶華代卸,不是神通妙用,亦非法爾如J38nB427_p0867a23然,原來時節不相饒,光陰如箭急。」驀拈拄杖,云:「惟有J38nB427_p0867a24者個,秦地不收、漢地不管,不資雨露,豈涉暑寒?無去、J38nB427_p0867a25無來,無變、無易,不滅、不生,不動、不靜,非虛、非實,非如、J38nB427_p0867a26非異,能為萬象主,不逐四時凋。所以道:『目前無法,意J38nB427_p0867a27在目前;不是目前法,非耳目所到。』」復卓,云:「大眾!委悉J38nB427_p0867a28麼?十法界、二十五有一切眾生,艸木、叢林、頑石、土塊,J38nB427_p0867a29不動道場齊登覺岸而證真常。今張、毛二居士各傾J38nB427_p0867a30囊橐,剪吳綾、裁蜀錦,磨棱合縫,與立嵒法弟造椹服J38nB427_p0867b01援,闔家眷屬于無相福田中植如意因、結如意果,乃J38nB427_p0867b02請山僧打爛葛藤,圓滿一樁勝事。且維摩默然、文殊J38nB427_p0867b03贊善,此意如何?嘉珍不假從他覓,只要當人直下看。」
J38nB427_p0867b04壬戌冬結制,上堂。問:「春回夏度,秋去冬來,四時不息,J38nB427_p0867b05韶華代卸。且道:西來大意還卸也無?」師云:「今日一通J38nB427_p0867b06好雨。」進云:「遷與不遷且置,向上宗乘事若何?」師云:「普J38nB427_p0867b07天下人霑潤澤。」問:「上無佛道可成,下無眾生可度,獅J38nB427_p0867b08子兒向甚麼處安身立命?」師云:「四棱著地。」進云:「即今J38nB427_p0867b09鐘鼓分明,人天交接,因甚爪牙不露?」師云:「緊防性命。」J38nB427_p0867b10乃云:「光透三千界,明暗莫能該;智出聖凡情,形名總J38nB427_p0867b11不立。不墮有無階,詎落于諸數?」
J38nB427_p0867b12元旦,上堂。「真風未扇,凡聖不容,三艸二木,各不相知。J38nB427_p0867b13纔展機輪,光吞萬象,情與無情,列界分疆。惟有沒量J38nB427_p0867b14大人別資一路,入林不動艸,入水不興波。有時放也,J38nB427_p0867b15日月齊明,十方通暢;有時收也,乾坤黯黑,水泄不通。J38nB427_p0867b16不放、不收,依前平帖帖地。若是伶俐衲僧,向頂𩕳上J38nB427_p0867b17著眼,得路便行,擺脫羇縻,歸家穩坐,元來成佛舊矣,J38nB427_p0867b18不假外求。復聽一偈:一戛徽音曲調長,難同角徵羽J38nB427_p0867b19宮商,于中微妙無人和,喚轉三陽映八荒。」
J38nB427_p0867b20解制,上堂:「東勝神洲,考鐘伐鼓;西牛賀州,側耳擎拳;J38nB427_p0867b21北俱盧洲,白椎念贊;南閻浮提,解制上堂。驚起燈籠J38nB427_p0867b22露柱,異口同音,便道:『萬法是心光,諸緣惟性曉。本無J38nB427_p0867b23迷悟人,秖要今日了。』即今四眾臨筵,人天交接,心心J38nB427_p0867b24相注,眼眼相觀,了個甚麼?豐干不向呂公說,跛鱉無J38nB427_p0867b25端固執迷。」
J38nB427_p0867b26誕日,上堂。僧問:「未離兜率,已降皇宮;未出母胎,度人J38nB427_p0867b27已畢。是否?」師云:「是。」進云:「今日和尚誕辰,與先聖是同?J38nB427_p0867b28是別?」師云:「一字兩頭垂。」進云:「恁麼則先聖後聖其義J38nB427_p0867b29不忒。」師云:「不勞贊嘆。」乃云:「佛祖關鉗,拈提不起;衲僧J38nB427_p0867b30機要,了無向背。有時凝然湛寂,針劄不入;有時動轉J38nB427_p0867c01施為,萬別千差。」拈拂子,云:「若向者一毫頭上薦得根J38nB427_p0867c02源,始信悟不由師,名同正覺,坐斷報化佛頭,擊碎聖J38nB427_p0867c03凡窠窟,往復無際,動靜一如。所以道:『盡法界身本無J38nB427_p0867c04出沒,大悲願力示有去來。』」㘞一聲,下座。
J38nB427_p0867c05盂蘭會,上堂。「天步南旋,金曜西轉,二儀合轍,萬卉隕J38nB427_p0867c06初。此個時節,山河大地各輝本有,艸木叢林齊露真J38nB427_p0867c07常。」驀拈拄杖,云:「惟有者個,世界未成,先有此物;世界J38nB427_p0867c08壞時,此物不壞。不隨四序流轉,詎逐寒暑變遷?所謂J38nB427_p0867c09有物先天地,無形本寂寥,能為萬象主,不逐四時凋。J38nB427_p0867c10明眼衲僧不入第二門,不起第二見,太陽門下日日J38nB427_p0867c11三秋,明月堂前時時九夏。脫或未然,依前頂天履地,J38nB427_p0867c12鼻直眼橫,從少至老秖是個張上座。時值中元佳節,J38nB427_p0867c13佛制盂蘭,藩臺劉護法輿蓋親臨,設無遮大會,追薦J38nB427_p0867c14普天下佛子。成佛已竟……」驀召眾,云:「且道居何國上?打J38nB427_p0867c15麵還他州土麥,唱歌須是帝鄉人。」
J38nB427_p0867c16癸亥秋,昭覺退院歸青城舊隱,上堂。「紹祖三齡建法J38nB427_p0867c17幢,慵將世味立封疆。綱維提挈魚龍逐,麈拂聊撝獅J38nB427_p0867c18象藏。幸爾滹沱源未竭,神州法運正當陽。余今矢忘J38nB427_p0867c19居林下,仍復裁雲補毳裳。」
J38nB427_p0867c20甲子,崇慶州青城山鳳林寺豎經樓,正寰洪居士請J38nB427_p0867c21上堂。「白雲清淺,普賢家風;竹樹短長,文殊境界;溪聲J38nB427_p0867c22鳥語,觀音禁門。沒量大人到者裏無著腳處,眾中還J38nB427_p0867c23有不甘者麼?其或未然,鳳林為伊出氣。」驀呈拄杖,云:J38nB427_p0867c24「者個將三千大千世界一口吞卻,看他三措大向甚J38nB427_p0867c25麼處安身立命?如斯說話,也是為他閑事長無明。」舉:J38nB427_p0867c26「世尊于布髮掩泥處指云:此處宜建梵剎。時帝釋將J38nB427_p0867c27一莖艸插地,云:『建梵剎竟。』世尊贊云:『善哉,善哉!』你看J38nB427_p0867c28者一夥老古錐,只可于無智人前賣俏,誑惑癡聾。鳳J38nB427_p0867c29林欲建梵剎,袖領十方檀信各發囊金,諸山尊宿赤J38nB427_p0867c30手相扶,取大面之松、六頂之柏,眼眼相看、心心相注,J38nB427_p0868a01同一境界,隕首證盟。且道與古人還有優劣也無?」良J38nB427_p0868a02久,云:「十年瓢笠挂青城,紺殿岑樓越樣新,法運漫隨J38nB427_p0868a03王化入,頻敲毒鼓振家聲。」
J38nB427_p0868a04乙丑,營經縣樂道菴,恒耀首座豎殿,請上堂。「密運玄J38nB427_p0868a05機,乃真人境界;綸音初展,露格外風規。放大人相,圓J38nB427_p0868a06褁十虛;撾塗毒鼓,群魔膽喪。山河大地常轉法輪,明J38nB427_p0868a07暗色空合談般若,頭頭顯露,法法齊彰。」卓拄杖,云:「若J38nB427_p0868a08向拄杖頭上薦得根源,就路還家,不動腳跟而登覺J38nB427_p0868a09岸,坐微塵裏轉大法輪。如或未然,別資一路。今古由J38nB427_p0868a10來建梵宮,惟憑赤手巧施工,功成果滿檀林鬱,瓜瓞J38nB427_p0868a11聯芳繼象龍。」
J38nB427_p0868a12丙寅,鳳林寺豎大殿,上堂。「大位不居,我國晏然;大功J38nB427_p0868a13不宰,處事而嚴;大道無名,附物而靈;大法無從,應時J38nB427_p0868a14而通。眾中有識時節者麼?三世諸佛以此時節樹大J38nB427_p0868a15法幢、擊大法鼓、吹大法螺、演大法義,山僧應此時節J38nB427_p0868a16初開爐鞴,魔佛齊烹,始懸赤幟,開人天正眼,提持臨J38nB427_p0868a17濟機要,拽轉頹風,拈弄德山消息,挽回法運即不無,J38nB427_p0868a18只如今日鎮寰洪公、茂白廖公各傾囊金建大功業,J38nB427_p0868a19兼誘緇素同上青城,鼎新佛殿,永垂不朽一句作麼J38nB427_p0868a20生道?更聽一頌:齊伸赤手破天荒,緇素于斯建法幢,J38nB427_p0868a21一片新風吹大野,從茲千古漫流芳。」
J38nB427_p0868a22戊辰,青城開爐,真鑄、真亨王居士請上堂。拈香云:「此J38nB427_p0868a23瓣香在天垂象,在地成形,入水不騰波,入林不動艸,J38nB427_p0868a24端為祝延今上J38nB427_p0868a25皇帝聖躬萬歲萬萬歲,欽願佛化王化齊行,金輪法J38nB427_p0868a26輪共轉。」次拈云:「此香高而無上,廣不可及,淵而無下,J38nB427_p0868a27深莫可測,任性縱橫,能變能化,爇向爐中,奉為當道J38nB427_p0868a28尊官及本州紳衿士庶現前請主,伏願扈衛王室,金J38nB427_p0868a29湯末祚。」再拈云:「拈起乾坤增瑞,通貫古今;放下十方J38nB427_p0868a30黯黑,消息全無。第二回拈出,爇向爐中,供養昭覺上J38nB427_p0868b01丈下雪本師醉和尚,用酬法乳,伏願壽等須彌,德逾J38nB427_p0868b02滄海,龍象之宗,人天正眼。」斂衣就座。雲徹法姪白椎J38nB427_p0868b03竟,乃云:「峰巒疊翠,竹樹陳祥,碧澗雲生,霜花競秀,元J38nB427_p0868b04來現成公案,何勞掘地討天?若是此中人,須行此中J38nB427_p0868b05事;若行此中事,須是此中人。」卓拄杖云:「都向者裏薦J38nB427_p0868b06取。」
J38nB427_p0868b07至節,上堂。問:「如何是冬至以前事?」師云:「群陰剝盡。」進J38nB427_p0868b08云:「如何是冬至以後事?」師云:「一陽來復。」問:「如何是背J38nB427_p0868b09塵合覺?」師云:「風暖鳥聲碎。」進云:「如何是背覺合塵?」師J38nB427_p0868b10云:「日高花影重。」問:「如何是父母未生前本來面目?」師J38nB427_p0868b11云:「頂𩕳上七叉八篆。」進云:「如何是父母生後事?」師云:J38nB427_p0868b12「腳跟下橫三豎四。」僧禮拜。乃云:「機輪轉處,草木楊眉;J38nB427_p0868b13坐斷當陽,乾坤失色。語其動也,遍周法界;語其靜也,J38nB427_p0868b14泯跡潛蹤。所以道:『先天而天弗違,後天而奉天時。』若J38nB427_p0868b15以世諦流布,讓伊有分;若約正眼流通,則不然。」驀拈J38nB427_p0868b16拄杖,云:「看木上座如何行履?百萬億須彌盧、百萬億J38nB427_p0868b17日月、百萬億四大部洲、百萬億香水海,一口吞卻。且J38nB427_p0868b18盈虛消息向甚麼處流轉?諸佛眾生何處安身立命?」J38nB427_p0868b19卓拄杖,下座。
J38nB427_p0868b20真瑞孫居士入山辦齋,請上堂。「參贊化育老僧,亦須J38nB427_p0868b21扶樹微陽。還知麼?律管灰飛萬彙萌,梅梢吐玉柳垂J38nB427_p0868b22金。霜花炯炯鋪平地,六雪霏霏𩂕翠岑。地軸右旋六J38nB427_p0868b23耦盡,天樞左轉一奇生。吾家有個住山句,不屬陽收J38nB427_p0868b24不屬陰。內有一句,有殺有活,有縱有奪。若辯得出,始J38nB427_p0868b25知日行南至。其或未然,依前冬至寒食百單五。」
J38nB427_p0868b26佛成道日,上堂。「真風纔扇,萬籟皆惺,至化初行,海天J38nB427_p0868b27一色。大道無名,遇緣即宗,如天普蓋,似地普擎。頗奈J38nB427_p0868b28吾人自昧,所以釋迦如來捨金輪之寶位,子夜逾城,J38nB427_p0868b29于正覺山中六年苦行,忽睹明星,了明心地。大眾!古J38nB427_p0868b30時天地、日月、星辰與今時天地、日月、星辰未曾差別,J38nB427_p0868c01人人皆見,為甚麼二千六百年前只悟得個釋迦,直J38nB427_p0868c02至如今不曾悟得一個半個?汝等要見明星麼?」以拂J38nB427_p0868c03子向空點,云:「參。」
J38nB427_p0868c04上堂。「心珠朗耀,亙古恒明,性海汪洋,纖塵不涉,湛寂J38nB427_p0868c05凝然,本無形狀,動靜二相,了然不生,光灼灼,平帖帖。J38nB427_p0868c06今乃元旦首期,欲作一家燕賞,請三世諸佛及十二J38nB427_p0868c07類眾生,以金剛輪際為灶,空輪為釜,水輪為量,三草J38nB427_p0868c08二木作薪,風輪為炊,須彌盧作飯,香水海為羹,地輪J38nB427_p0868c09為桌。且道向甚麼處鋪設?」舉拂子云:「仍向山僧拂子J38nB427_p0868c10一毫頭上鋪設,不寬不窄,無剩無餘,無言童子出來,J38nB427_p0868c11吹無孔笛,彈沒絃琴,唱無生曲,奏無生樂。」拂云:「還見J38nB427_p0868c12麼?」擊云:「還聞麼?諸佛眾生異口同音道:『我適會供養,J38nB427_p0868c13今復還親覲。』」
J38nB427_p0868c14解制,上堂。問:「如何是青城體?」師云:「主山高,案山低。」進J38nB427_p0868c15云:「如何是青城用?」師云:「晨昏鐘鼓分明。」進云:「體用雙J38nB427_p0868c16彰時如何?」師云:「我沒氣力。」僧擬議,師打出。問:「如何是J38nB427_p0868c17百尺竿頭重進步?」師云:「我者裏一尺也無。」僧禮拜,師J38nB427_p0868c18笑云:「龜毛拂子長丈二,蔥嶺傳來落鳳林。」喝一喝。
J38nB427_p0868c19誕日,上堂。問:「如何是萬仞峰頭重進步?」師云:「不露頂。」J38nB427_p0868c20僧進步,云:「是某甲安身處麼?」師云:「亦任鑽龜打瓦。」乃J38nB427_p0868c21云:「最初一句,把斷封疆;末後一機,不通凡聖。青山無J38nB427_p0868c22透路,海水不揚波,去就一源,死生同域。」驀拈拄杖,云:J38nB427_p0868c23「承斯恩力,三世諸佛得之,隨宜施設,各建道場,有權、J38nB427_p0868c24有實,談空、談有,付之自然。而今落在生上座手裏,逗J38nB427_p0868c25到今朝五十四年,是我母難之辰。且道報恩一句如J38nB427_p0868c26何通信?」良久,拽拄杖,下座。
J38nB427_p0868c27佛誕,上堂。「道本圓融,觸處皆通;道本無言,一氣溷元;J38nB427_p0868c28道本無體,匙挑不起;道本無知,接物應機。還識應機J38nB427_p0868c29麼?」卓拄杖,云:「于此薦得,古今無異轍,聖凡沒兩般。世J38nB427_p0868c30尊云:『天上天下,惟我獨尊。』是則也是,正眼看來漏逗J38nB427_p0869a01不少。若是靈利衲僧,直饒祥徵萬載、瑞應千齡,亦是J38nB427_p0869a02堂前生瑞艸。何故?喏!二千六百年來許多血氣男兒J38nB427_p0869a03出他綣繢不得。」
