J36nB357_p0598c04康熙庚申歲二月二十三日,師於安陸府豐樂鎮西J36nB357_p0598c05來禪寺,受襄陽府列紳士、山主、眾檀護暨各剎耆舊、J36nB357_p0598c06同門昆季、本寺監院請,於三月十六日進院。
J36nB357_p0598c07三門。「廣大法門,一道直截,信知家裏人,自然無內外。」J36nB357_p0598c08拽杖便進。
J36nB357_p0598c09佛殿。「法身無為,不墮諸數,直下會得,應緣即現。」呈坐J36nB357_p0598c10具云:「大眾!莫言不見。」乃展拜。
J36nB357_p0598c11韋馱殿。「感應三洲剎那遍,阿僧祇行彈指圜,寥寥坐J36nB357_p0598c12斷魔軍表,弘護法門不計年。」
J36nB357_p0598c13先師像前。「平生沒本據,妄談般若罪無涯;端的有來J36nB357_p0598c14由,項上鐵枷先擔取。黑豆換人眼睛,爭怪得者老漢?J36nB357_p0598c15追憶老凍濃,心肝懸樹頭,胸中更有一般毒,不肖兒J36nB357_p0598c16孫孰敢觸?」遂拈香作禮。
J36nB357_p0598c17方丈。拈拄杖云:「新黃龍相席打令、看風使帆,不惜帶J36nB357_p0598c18水拖泥,一任諸方笑怪。」以拄杖卓一卓、喝一喝,便起。J36nB357_p0598c19即日眾護法、居士等請上堂。師至座前,拈啟示眾云:J36nB357_p0598c20「此謂之無見頂王三昧甚深微玅法藏,言言見諦、句J36nB357_p0598c21句朝宗,諸公應須不作文字解、不生紙筆見,如此符J36nB357_p0598c22合,文彩全彰。還知端的麼?如或未委,試聽維那宣讀。」J36nB357_p0598c23宣畢,以拄杖指座云:「看看!者寶華王座、欄楯階陛,天J36nB357_p0598c24繒玅寶、香光雲網殊勝莊嚴,一一皆由諸公多生修J36nB357_p0598c25行,集聚善根所共成就,如是功德,今日於一念間齊J36nB357_p0598c26顯露了也。還見麼?」遂陞。拈香云:「者瓣香,至尊至貴,名J36nB357_p0598c27超優曇華;為蓋為雲,葉覆大千界。虔爇寶爐,端為祝J36nB357_p0598c28延J36nB357_p0598c29今上皇帝聖躬萬歲萬歲萬萬歲!欽願福基等乾坤永J36nB357_p0598c30固,國運與兩曜增輝,八荒歌堯天之化育,四海樂舜J36nB357_p0599a01日之豐腴。」復拈云:「者瓣香,補袞仁主鹽梅聖化,爇向J36nB357_p0599a02爐中,奉為滿朝文武、闔國公卿、道府縣各衙現任列J36nB357_p0599a03位尊官,伏願常居祿位,永作金湯。」次拈云:「者瓣香,足J36nB357_p0599a04見僧賴護法以顯、護法賴僧以鳴,今日滿諸護法勇J36nB357_p0599a05衛協贊嘉謨,爇向爐中,奉為闔郡紳士、在筵檀護、列J36nB357_p0599a06剎高賢、同門昆季、本山兩序監院等,伏願緇俗同明J36nB357_p0599a07正法眼,見聞咸發最勝心。」又拈云:「者瓣香,已在西來J36nB357_p0599a08拈出多年,今日人天普集,不免從頭說破,廿載行腳J36nB357_p0599a09蹋破芒鞋,江南江北受盡風霜,曾經數員知識提攜,J36nB357_p0599a10實乃緇素難明,一朝天童會裏幾遭密祖毒棒,當下J36nB357_p0599a11知歸。自吳越抵荊南,撞入百丈山中,禮見不近人情J36nB357_p0599a12老和尚摧折一上,痛恨難忘。昔年親到者裏印可,今J36nB357_p0599a13日相承繼主此席,茲對人天眾前拈出,爇向爐中,供J36nB357_p0599a14養前住,即此山傳臨濟正宗第三十三世先師奇大J36nB357_p0599a15和尚,用酬法乳。」斂衣就座。智覃門人白椎云:「法筵龍J36nB357_p0599a16象眾,當觀第一義。」師云:「未白椎之先,則無當觀之義,J36nB357_p0599a17任他五目不能睹、四辯莫能通,直饒薦得落七落八,J36nB357_p0599a18且第一義還有知落處底麼?出眾與新長老相見。」智J36nB357_p0599a19覃門人問:「玄風大震獨巍然,拄杖撩天接上賢,高豎J36nB357_p0599a20法幢天地動,靈山密旨請師宣。」師云:「正法眼藏無古J36nB357_p0599a21今,般若真燈照天地。」進云:「今辰眾大護法一會儼然,J36nB357_p0599a22恭請和尚上堂說法,且道作麼生相為?」師云:「相逢自J36nB357_p0599a23有知音客,何必清風動五天?」進云:「龍象駿奔咸鶴望,J36nB357_p0599a24普施一語利人天。」師云:「雷轟電掣、風行艸偃。」進云:「一J36nB357_p0599a25句迥然開祖胄,千秋法運喜重新。」師云:「也知恁麼讚J36nB357_p0599a26嘆。」進云:「從此黃龍光不夜,人人徹證續傳燈。」師云:「勒J36nB357_p0599a27回河北千年運,直接曹溪萬派春。」進云:「西來大意越J36nB357_p0599a28今古,百丈宗風遍大千。」師云:「好事不如無。」乃云:「疊巘J36nB357_p0599a29峰巒毓秀,泉清溪壑源長,凌霄殿閣巍曠,龜鑑人天J36nB357_p0599a30道場。祕密寶藏八字打開,具種智者頓然玅達,一段J36nB357_p0599b01祖父田園界畦四至分曉,只要親到一回,便見百丈J36nB357_p0599b02弘規。所以道:『隨處作主,遇緣即宗。法隨法行,法幢隨J36nB357_p0599b03處建立。』展臨濟三玄戈甲,會曹洞五位君臣。敲唱雙J36nB357_p0599b04行,殺活自在。拈一莖草,穿衲僧鼻孔;布縵天網,打衝J36nB357_p0599b05浪錦鱗。」拈拄杖一劃云:「新長老一時掃蕩。何故?幸逢J36nB357_p0599b06堯舜世,自合樂無為。」復舉:「阿難問迦葉:『世尊傳金襴J36nB357_p0599b07袈裟外,別傳何法?』迦葉召阿難,阿難應諾,迦葉云:『倒J36nB357_p0599b08卻門前剎竿著。』後來汾陽昭拈云:『不問那知?』五祖戒J36nB357_p0599b09云:『露!』翠岩芝云:『千年無影樹,今時沒底靴。』」師云:「掀翻J36nB357_p0599b10海嶽求知己,為報時流莫浪猜。且道與三大老相去J36nB357_p0599b11多少?如此涇渭得,便會得阿難問、迦葉荅之意,亦乃J36nB357_p0599b12爍迦羅心靈然不昧、摩醯正眼光照無窮,所謂真機J36nB357_p0599b13普應,大用全提。還會麼?莫怪從前多意氣,他家曾蹋J36nB357_p0599b14上頭關。」結槌云:「諦觀法王法,法王法如是!」下座。謝辭不錄
J36nB357_p0599b15當晚小參。「塵劫來事,只在目前,緇素濟濟,燈燭煒煌。J36nB357_p0599b16百丈山從地而起、插劍峰崒立層霄,是襄州勝境、黃J36nB357_p0599b17龍道場。殿堂虛敝、煙雲蔽虧,正法眼藏頭頭顯出、玅J36nB357_p0599b18明心印處處全彰。須知靈利衲僧未舉早能委悉,何J36nB357_p0599b19煩黃面瞿曇出現於世?寧用缺齒老鬍航海西來?諸J36nB357_p0599b20方尊宿分宗列派,各立門庭,具驅耕奪食之機、摧邪J36nB357_p0599b21顯正之用,正眼觀來總不消得。我此門中別無奇特,J36nB357_p0599b22只貴明自心、見自性。聞聲見色,色色仍舊,穿衣喫飯,J36nB357_p0599b23日用尋常,不必望求勝玅以為自得。豈不見?古德云:J36nB357_p0599b24『欲識佛祖心,須向眾生心行中識取;欲識常住不凋J36nB357_p0599b25性,須向萬物遷更處薦得。』多少明白?多少現成?今人J36nB357_p0599b26不能洞明,蓋是自生知解,礙卻本來一段光明。山僧J36nB357_p0599b27今夜始入此門,初相聚首,竟不肯說心說性、說玅說J36nB357_p0599b28玄,恐增諸仁知解,只將現成一句子覿面拈出,令箇J36nB357_p0599b29箇自悟自證自家境界。且作麼生是現成一句子?」以J36nB357_p0599b30拂子擊禪床三下。
J36nB357_p0599c01二月二十三日,師受襄州眾護法居士請,住百丈山J36nB357_p0599c02黃龍禪寺,於西來禪寺上堂。拈帖示眾云:「兩度三回J36nB357_p0599c03推不脫,今日依前把不住,不是人情之故,亦非時節J36nB357_p0599c04因緣,因甚撞頭磕額?豈意因緣會遇?只如今日動靜J36nB357_p0599c05不以心、去來不以象,諸仁還知麼?黃龍虛法席,使者J36nB357_p0599c06至再三,思昔得法時,二紀有餘年,豈謂蒞晚景,檀護J36nB357_p0599c07重相關?開函讀來簡,叮嚀見楮端,符子既已至,不問J36nB357_p0599c08路行難。方撾集眾鼓,龍象咸欣歡,先師未了底,應時J36nB357_p0599c09起波瀾。敢問諸仁:如何是先師未了底?待至黃龍,方J36nB357_p0599c10與諸人道破。」下座。
J36nB357_p0599c11佛誕,際明習居士請上堂。僧問:「一降皇宮即不問,未J36nB357_p0599c12出母胎度人已畢時如何?」師云:「已降未出俱鈍滯,躲J36nB357_p0599c13根禪客切須參。」進云:「因甚又睹明星悟道?」師云:「明眼J36nB357_p0599c14人難謾。」進云:「『十方同聚會,個個學無為。』如何是學無J36nB357_p0599c15為?」師云:「相識還如不相識。」進云:「『此是選佛場,心空及J36nB357_p0599c16第歸。』如何是心空及第歸?」師云:「行不出戶、坐不當堂。」J36nB357_p0599c17乃云:「天上天下,行履自由,慈愍四生,示現閻浮。故我J36nB357_p0599c18釋迦老人降皇宮、出母胎,便會指天指地,周行七步、J36nB357_p0599c19目顧四方云:『天上天下,唯吾獨尊。』如此何等慶快?若J36nB357_p0599c20非得大自在,安能如是?然雖逞俊,不免傍觀者不肯。J36nB357_p0599c21所以後來雲門大師道:『我當時若見,一棒打殺與狗J36nB357_p0599c22子喫,貴圖天下太平。』也怪雲門不得。何故?祇為亂眾J36nB357_p0599c23生太甚。今日正當此際,山僧乍主法席,茲者際明習J36nB357_p0599c24居士揮金辦齋供佛及僧、城南一境居士各捐淨財,J36nB357_p0599c25延仗本堂禪侶諷經禮懺,慶佛聖誕。山僧陞座,無法J36nB357_p0599c26可說,聊申一偈以應時節。」乃展拂子云:「年年春色滿J36nB357_p0599c27毘藍,堪笑瞿曇入鬧籃,纔出母胎揚醜拙,便開大口J36nB357_p0599c28脫空談。韶陽痛恨要捶殺,棒下分明絕指南。絕指南,J36nB357_p0599c29至今一個未相諳,試問諸人諳不諳?如諳,卓爾渾然J36nB357_p0599c30無向背,西天佛是老瞿曇。」下座。
J36nB357_p0600a01開爐,結制上堂。「斯時法鼓纔鳴,大家一齊散去,可謂J36nB357_p0600a02超出古今;更擬撒土拋沙,不免起模畫樣。諸禪德!既J36nB357_p0600a03到黃龍相從參禪,發明生死大事,須依山僧行履,他J36nB357_p0600a04後決不相賺。箇箇都要屏息萬緣,一心向道,追復黃J36nB357_p0600a05面老子、百丈已前所行頭陀之行,是謂家風。此之苦J36nB357_p0600a06行頭陀,教乘備載,請自校看。雖然,今人難齊古人,且J36nB357_p0600a07請其中行得一半,庶使得霑頭陀苦行之少分耳!不J36nB357_p0600a08可類此時學者,總不問著,甘為無慚愧人,大法驢年J36nB357_p0600a09會得。只如黃面老子,當時饑則統眾持缽入城乞食,J36nB357_p0600a10歸則各處岩穴之間。其後匾檐山和尚唯食橡栗度J36nB357_p0600a11日;趙州諗和尚三十年不開口問人、不雜用心;芙蓉J36nB357_p0600a12楷禪師不發疏簿、不邀化主,唯受澹泊;又有丹霞然J36nB357_p0600a13禪師一生只箇布衲。此諸尊宿俱是行頭陀、行家風,J36nB357_p0600a14所以各各魁壘秀出於當時,而歷千古之下,為世出J36nB357_p0600a15世間之所尊。諸禪德!若憑此苦行行持,久之不移不J36nB357_p0600a16易,到者裏更須知有轉身。」喝一喝云:「百丈巖前輕撒J36nB357_p0600a17手,大千沙界露全身。」復舉:「雪峰示眾云:『三世諸佛向J36nB357_p0600a18火燄裏轉大法輪。』雲門云:『火燄為三世諸佛說法,三J36nB357_p0600a19世諸佛立地聽。』」師云:「雪峰雖則畫蛇添足,未免水寒J36nB357_p0600a20於冰;雲門固爾直截指陳,也是承虛接響。黃龍今日J36nB357_p0600a21結制開爐,亦不鑿壞常住地、亦不過費常住炭,只教J36nB357_p0600a22寒時休嫌寂寞、冷處卻要溫和。若能如是體貼,不惟J36nB357_p0600a23免撥灰弄火,亦且無佛見法見。」以拂子畫[○@│]◎○相,J36nB357_p0600a24下座。
J36nB357_p0600a25上堂。「寒則普天匝地寒,熱則普天匝地熱,雖則寒暑J36nB357_p0600a26凌奪,玅體本無生滅。是以彤雲羃羃、朔風凜凜,當此J36nB357_p0600a27之際,蠢動含靈,森羅萬象,乾坤肅靜,庶物蕭然。於時J36nB357_p0600a28衲子放下腰包、脫卻芒鞋,同居百丈,不拘堂內堂外、J36nB357_p0600a29不容學佛學祖,但以十二時中行住坐臥,著衣喫飯、J36nB357_p0600a30運水搬柴、磨麵輾米,迎來送往,主伴交參,無功用行,J36nB357_p0600b01隨緣自在。人人本有莫大威光,如龍得水、似虎靠山。J36nB357_p0600b02黃龍門下既不容學佛學祖,也不圍爐添炭,直教箇J36nB357_p0600b03箇寒徹骨髓。因甚如此?冷灰爆出黃金豆,卻勝諸方J36nB357_p0600b04熱鬨禪。」
J36nB357_p0600b05因事上堂。「二十餘年玩馬騎,今辰卻被驢兒撲,一撲J36nB357_p0600b06撲倒地,無人攙得起。」卓拄杖云:「幸賴拄杖子著力撐J36nB357_p0600b07住,不然直跌倒金剛輪際尚無歇腳處在。此時若逢J36nB357_p0600b08白牯,便須倒退三千里;若見狸奴,更須別路讓他還。J36nB357_p0600b09拄杖子道:『長老長老!平日硬糾糾地生按佛祖,今日J36nB357_p0600b10如何者般委蛇?』」呵呵大笑云:「拄杖子!你卻不知,先人J36nB357_p0600b11法幢,退己讓人也是大丈夫事。」
J36nB357_p0600b12上堂。「自客歲孟冬暨望之期,十方雲集,內外雍容,同J36nB357_p0600b13結制開爐,共向無煙火冷灰裏豆爆,世界無處簸曲,J36nB357_p0600b14指數將來,看看九十日。然雖慎初護末、原始要終,首J36nB357_p0600b15尾一如,全無罅縫,不參禪道佛法,大家共樂無為,同J36nB357_p0600b16諸人住一冬。山僧縱有一言半句,盡是家常惱人說J36nB357_p0600b17話,來朝罷爐,諸人或東去西去,他時異日,莫道黃龍J36nB357_p0600b18不為人好。」
J36nB357_p0600b19佛成道日,在北楊居士請上堂。「昔日釋迦世尊睹星J36nB357_p0600b20悟道,今日西來覿面指出明星,令諸人一時悟入。」遂J36nB357_p0600b21拈拄杖呈起云:「拄杖不是明星、佛殿不是明星、山門J36nB357_p0600b22廚庫不是明星、露柱燈籠不是明星、森羅萬象不是J36nB357_p0600b23明星、卉水叢林不是明星。祇如釋迦夜睹明星悟道,J36nB357_p0600b24與現前諸人見山僧拄杖是同是別?於此悟得,直得J36nB357_p0600b25坐斷聖凡窠臼,上無攀仰、下絕己躬,淨裸裸、赤灑灑,J36nB357_p0600b26無依無倚、無得無失,可謂男兒自有衝天志,不向如J36nB357_p0600b27來行處行。」卓拄杖下座。
J36nB357_p0600b28師繼席黃龍,以西來授智覃首座,紹席上堂。「祖脈悠J36nB357_p0600b29遠,法海汪洋,是真正種艸可續其後裔,大力量人能J36nB357_p0600b30泛波瀾。若論曹源巨浪,包含深廣,若鯤若鯨、若蛟若J36nB357_p0600c01龍,無不從中躍出。然不躍則已,一躍九萬里程扶搖J36nB357_p0600c02直上,扶豎佛祖正宗,還他過量人能持過量事、過量J36nB357_p0600c03人已見過量事,行則同行、坐則同坐,灼爾西來的意、J36nB357_p0600c04自然上古風規,既是權柄在手,便合與人雪屈。且道J36nB357_p0600c05應時及節底句子作麼生舉聻?滅卻老鬍種族,扶起J36nB357_p0600c06千古叢林。」喝一喝。
J36nB357_p0600c07佛誕糾首,善士何燦然、安士俊、周文黌、李文魁、楊大J36nB357_p0600c08祥、關明皋、夏實禛、魯國輔等請上堂。拈香祝聖竟,僧J36nB357_p0600c09問:「佛身無差別,充滿於法界。充滿法界即不問,佛誕J36nB357_p0600c10法語請師宣。」師豎拂子云:「攢簇不得底。」進云:「天人群J36nB357_p0600c11生類,皆霑此法力。」師云:「昔日世尊漏逗、今日山僧饒J36nB357_p0600c12舌。」進云:「將此深心奉塵剎,是則名為報佛恩。」師云:「一J36nB357_p0600c13言已出,駟馬難追。」乃展拂子云:「玉麈高揮為舉揚,分J36nB357_p0600c14明佛面露堂堂,今朝對眾難收拾,眼上依前雙簇長。J36nB357_p0600c15諸人於此薦得,則見今日吾佛立地處;設或未委,更J36nB357_p0600c16為指陳。故我釋迦老子啟基刱業,開方便門,原為一J36nB357_p0600c17大事因緣出現於世,愍三界火宅焚傷、悲四類欲流J36nB357_p0600c18永鶩,遂爾離兜率、降迦維,淨梵國王為其父、摩耶夫J36nB357_p0600c19人為其母,以茲證真常玅體、運無作神通,慈濟無方,J36nB357_p0600c20度諸含識,正所謂淨法界身本無出沒,大悲願力示J36nB357_p0600c21現受生。正法眼藏、涅槃玅心,實相無相微玅大法,直J36nB357_p0600c22截吐露分付了也。釋迦老子本命元辰,亦乃諸人本J36nB357_p0600c23來面目,覿體無私,縱橫自適,且不負眾善士年年打J36nB357_p0600c24破慳囊、運出家珍,詣西來禪林禮梁皇寶懺、慶至尊J36nB357_p0600c25牟尼,所謂一念欣喜心,能滅河沙罪,果報福德因,生J36nB357_p0600c26生無棄背,人天法界中,諸佛同歡會。還委悉麼?明心J36nB357_p0600c27須讓英靈漢,成佛還他過量人。」復舉:「世尊初生,一手J36nB357_p0600c28指天、一手指地,周行七步,目顧四方云:『天上天下,唯J36nB357_p0600c29吾獨尊。』後雲門出來道:『我當時若見,一棒打殺與狗J36nB357_p0600c30子喫,貴圖天下太平。』」師云:「世尊可謂龍袖拂開全體J36nB357_p0601a01現,雲門真乃象王行處絕狐蹤。雖然如是,一隊漢遞J36nB357_p0601a02相脫空,二俱不了。還有撿點得出底麼?如無,山僧不J36nB357_p0601a03免別咎休去也。還知落處麼?世尊不解覆藏,惹得雲J36nB357_p0601a04門眼熱。祇如今日應時慶祝一句作麼生道?九龍灌J36nB357_p0601a05沐自招得,難洗今朝一面羞。」卓拄杖,下座。
J36nB357_p0601a06開之甯居士建千佛懺,請陞座。「根原悟徹見全修,祖J36nB357_p0601a07意明明百艸頭,隨處施為能脫略,入流終不肯隨流。」J36nB357_p0601a08舉:「世尊問波斯匿王云:『汝以何相觀佛?』王云:『觀身實J36nB357_p0601a09相,觀佛亦然;觀佛亦然、觀法亦然。法界、眾生界,根根J36nB357_p0601a10塵塵,一切清淨。』」師召眾云:「欲識佛大寂滅相,諸人但J36nB357_p0601a11盡攀緣。於此薦得,一切心即佛心、一切相即佛相、一J36nB357_p0601a12切法即佛法、一切語即佛語。心也、相也、法也、語也,且J36nB357_p0601a13道一也、二也?同也、別也?不見道:『二由一有,一亦莫守,J36nB357_p0601a14一心不生,萬法無咎。』蓋山僧往歲甲午卓錫普門、丙J36nB357_p0601a15申遷住西來,而開之居士兩處饋供綿遠不絕。壬寅J36nB357_p0601a16佛成道日,夫婦同到西來求受菩薩大戒,越今辛酉J36nB357_p0601a17廿有六載,抑此信心堅固,夙有善種,今冬特延禪侶J36nB357_p0601a18就家熏禮梁皇法懺,仍請山僧陞座舉揚般若。且般J36nB357_p0601a19若如何舉揚?不免倩拄杖子為諸公通個消息。」遂拈J36nB357_p0601a20拄杖卓一卓云:「孜孜竭力道心濃,懺法功能豈易窮?J36nB357_p0601a21今日親蒙千佛記,信知男女體元同。祇如善人家庭J36nB357_p0601a22營齋禮懺、祈福延生聻?」復呈拄杖云:「揭示盡兮又何J36nB357_p0601a23說,壽嶽高兮福更洪。」下座。
J36nB357_p0601a24德明劉居士六秩禮懺,請上堂。「冉冉流光速,季冬將J36nB357_p0601a25歲暮,朔風臨古幹,共唱無生曲,句句非別詞,單談本J36nB357_p0601a26面目。還識本面目麼?於此薦得,坐臥經行任所之,雙J36nB357_p0601a27親罔極已酬足,亦知自家壽量等虛空,不落人間花J36nB357_p0601a28甲數。是以特至西來辦供,禮千佛法懺,仍請山僧上J36nB357_p0601a29堂為眾舉揚此事。既然如是,豈可囊藏?」乃豎拂子云:J36nB357_p0601a30「看看!箇裏會得,釋迦不先、彌勒不後,迥超那畔、獨脫J36nB357_p0601b01今時,無分凡聖,奚論人天?祇如用益福齡、超出壽量J36nB357_p0601b02一句作麼生道?不萌枝上春秋古,無影林中日月長。」J36nB357_p0601b03下座。
J36nB357_p0601b04儀真縣芮門汪氏實瑛請陞座。乃云:「斯一段大事,不J36nB357_p0601b05分男女,只貴痛切。信得及底,向未舉已前一肩擔荷;J36nB357_p0601b06若是思量,了無交涉。豈不見趙州諗禪師問南泉和J36nB357_p0601b07尚云:『如何是道?』泉云:『平常心是道。』州云:『還假趣向也J36nB357_p0601b08無?』泉云:『擬向即乖。』州云:『不擬,爭知是道?』泉云:『道不屬J36nB357_p0601b09知、不屬不知,知是妄覺、不知是無記。若直達不疑之J36nB357_p0601b10道,如太虛空廓然蕩豁,詎可強是非耶?』古德將心一J36nB357_p0601b11時吐露了也。」以拄杖呈起云:「見麼?有眼同見。」擊香几J36nB357_p0601b12云:「聞麼?有耳同聞。既同見同聞、無儻無偏,所謂無邊J36nB357_p0601b13剎境,自他不隔於毫端;十世古今,始終不離於當念。J36nB357_p0601b14行住坐臥自然虛而靈、寂而玅,三世十方空蕩蕩,無J36nB357_p0601b15佛、無祖、無眾生。山僧與居士恁麼道,也是無風波浪J36nB357_p0601b16生。」
J36nB357_p0601b17除夕。「是年三月,復往吳郡檇李挂錫,資勝禪林刊錄J36nB357_p0601b18畢,旋至漢鎮大悲禪院訪白雲老宿,恰值歲杪,承道J36nB357_p0601b19愛,堅留過歲,設齋,請小參。山野推脫不得,不免應個J36nB357_p0601b20時節。」揮拂子云:「不是心、不是佛、不是物,是個甚麼?」良J36nB357_p0601b21久云:「千聖仰之莫及,萬靈覷窺無門。威音王前淨裸J36nB357_p0601b22裸、赤灑灑;威音王後風凜凜、峭巍巍。臨濟喝下承當,J36nB357_p0601b23了沒交涉;德山棒頭取證,且過一邊。直饒總不恁麼,J36nB357_p0601b24終非俊敏。所以道:『我若真正舉揚,法堂前直得艸深J36nB357_p0601b25一丈。』事不獲已,向諸禪德道:盡大地是個解脫門、盡J36nB357_p0601b26大地是個光明藏、盡大地是個金剛眼。若作恁麼會,J36nB357_p0601b27悉唎悉唎;不作恁麼會,蘇盧蘇盧;恁麼、不恁麼總拈J36nB357_p0601b28卻,悉唎蘇盧 蘇盧悉唎!截斷三路葛藤、放下舊年曆J36nB357_p0601b29日,管取百城春暖、四海浪息。還委悉麼?一歲今宵盡,J36nB357_p0601b30來朝正月一。」
J36nB357_p0601c01中秋,晚參。「嵒桂飄香,梧桐葉落,體露金風,應時及節。J36nB357_p0601c02明明百艸頭、物物西來意,直下一見一切見、一聞一J36nB357_p0601c03切聞、一了一切了、一證一切證,方知心外無法、法外J36nB357_p0601c04無心。心外無法,正如中秋,一月溥現一切水;法外無J36nB357_p0601c05心,一切水月二月攝。今者月天上人,年登半百,虔辦J36nB357_p0601c06香華燈燭、珍饈玅供,仗延禪德熏禮千佛寶懺,仍設J36nB357_p0601c07嚫齋普供大眾,公願已滿,壽福無盡。且應時及節、高J36nB357_p0601c08低溥印一句作麼生道?夜靜江涵千顆玉,清光遙散J36nB357_p0601c09萬龕燈。」
J36nB357_p0601c10結冬制,晚參。「鬧哄哄處,有鬧哄哄處的佛法;靜悄悄J36nB357_p0601c11處,有靜悄悄處的佛法。若是鬧哄哄處依舊靜悄悄,J36nB357_p0601c12少有些子氣息;若是靜悄悄處依然鬧哄哄底,可謂J36nB357_p0601c13太殺辜恩。若向這裏擔當得去,不遣悟迷,親證無餘。J36nB357_p0601c14所以道:『萬法是心光,諸緣惟性曉,本無迷悟人,只要J36nB357_p0601c15今時了。』敢問諸人:『如何是了底一著子?』」卓拄杖云:「千J36nB357_p0601c16山勢到嶽邊止,萬派聲歸海上消。」
J36nB357_p0601c17為心海、月海、玄機剃度,小參。揮拂子云:「一二三四,四J36nB357_p0601c18三二一,全體脫塵埃,自心莫放逸,能為大丈夫,頂眼J36nB357_p0601c19明如日。火裏發青蓮、山岡出白璧,佛祖盡欣歡、怨魔J36nB357_p0601c20悉悚慄,好記取,勿忘失!」復揮拂子云:「若向這裏親薦J36nB357_p0601c21得,從今不是等閒人。」
J36nB357_p0601c22除夕。「時窮日窮、月窮年窮,三十六旬窮過了,東村王J36nB357_p0601c23老夜燒錢,西來並無一物應箇時節。」豎起拄杖云:「祇J36nB357_p0601c24者個無窮無盡,歷劫經年經月經日經時隨分應用,J36nB357_p0601c25總不涉蔓相牽。」遂靠拄杖云:「歷劫得來赤骨立。」乃展J36nB357_p0601c26手云:「拍雙空手接新年。」

J36nB357_p0601c28為楊門高氏法名實潔老孺人對靈法語。撝拂子云:J36nB357_p0601c29「山僧對靈吐露全無一字,聊且應時及節,只得暫為J36nB357_p0601c30指注。且作麼生指注?自己一點靈明之性,覿體與三J36nB357_p0602a01世諸佛平等,從來無去無來、無生無死,真光廓然,洞J36nB357_p0602a02照萬象。高氏孺人六十八年前全體恁麼來,金雞抱J36nB357_p0602a03子離青嶂,彩鳳銜花下碧霄;六十八年後全體恁麼J36nB357_p0602a04去,水底泥牛銜月走,雲中木馬逐風嘶。高老孺人還J36nB357_p0602a05委悉麼?此是西方安樂國,從來本性即彌陀。」
J36nB357_p0602a06越宗禪人辦齋供眾請法語。「古人道:『理障難除、情塵J36nB357_p0602a07易遣。』殊不知盡十方世界空索索地,求一法可當前J36nB357_p0602a08了不可得,有甚麼理障可除、情塵可遣?雖然,言中有J36nB357_p0602a09響、舌裏藏鋒,切忌佛殿上、廊廡下撞著露柱。」復舉:「法J36nB357_p0602a10眼和尚偈云:『見山不是山,見水何曾別?山河及大地,J36nB357_p0602a11總是一輪月。』法眼恁麼道,西來則不然:見山是山、見J36nB357_p0602a12水是水,到處走來,不似家裏。」

戒殺放生念佛文
J36nB357_p0605a09靈蠢萬殊,所感之身,有貴有賤、有富有貧,福業雜糅,J36nB357_p0605a10捨此趣彼,曠劫迨今,歷試諸難,正如轆轤圜旋不息,J36nB357_p0605a11流轉六道三途,繇是觀之,莫不由疇昔自作也。凡人J36nB357_p0605a12生天地間,孰不承父母遺體?然曰:「身體髮膚,受之父J36nB357_p0605a13母。」至於蜎飛蠕動,異類含生,咸稟陰陽氣以生成,且J36nB357_p0605a14世間人則曰:「天生以養人。」遂充其口腹,於是燔炙烹J36nB357_p0605a15炰以為快事。殊不知世間至重者生命、最慘者殺傷?J36nB357_p0605a16螻蟻蟣虱尚爾避死貪生,此等之卑皆因惡業所弊,J36nB357_p0605a17受此微劣之軀。惜哉!肆其吞噬之謀若此,能推己畏J36nB357_p0605a18死之心而及物,安肯其吞噬如是之切邪?眾生迷昧,J36nB357_p0605a19何乃罠于山、罭于淵,百計多方搜羅掩取,使其魂飛J36nB357_p0605a20膽落,母子離散?羽毛鱗甲,均同佛性,形異貌別,痛癢J36nB357_p0605a21相關。或囚籠檻,如居囹圄;或逼刀砧,快鋒剮𢦟。一頤J36nB357_p0605a22指,百命俱傾;諧舉脣,群孳絕滅。季世殘忍已甚,𥏫殺J36nB357_p0605a23蕃多,倚我強、欺彼弱,啗他肉、補己身,友戚親朋同牽J36nB357_p0605a24六趣、夫妻子女共結輪迴。冤親聚首,黑白難分,永劫J36nB357_p0605a25流連,作者自受。此則理恐非宜,其心安忍?人必將思J36nB357_p0605a26過去已作之因,則現生定受已作之果,所以由今以J36nB357_p0605a27驗昔、因往以知來。由今以驗昔,則知定業之不化;因J36nB357_p0605a28往以知來,則知定果而莫逃。作如是因、受如是果,因J36nB357_p0605a29果分明,昭乎耳目,焉不矍然起懼未來生死冥然無J36nB357_p0605a30涯乎?惜哉!俗習深滋,距劫怪世。歲節春秋,以之祀祖J36nB357_p0605b01母難;誕辰饔飧,以之燕賓晨暮。飯脯葷腸,自為恣飽,J36nB357_p0605b02不思三途惡報悠長、果因明然不爽,能令生生互相J36nB357_p0605b03賊害,冤對相仇如形影相似,不可移易也。殺生之禍J36nB357_p0605b04莫此為甚,不可不恐怖哉!嗟乎!數十年來乖氛續興,J36nB357_p0605b05兵兇臶更,刀劍臨身,迴避無地,群寇之殛,現見尸橫J36nB357_p0605b06遍野、白骨盈岡,咸斯殺業釁為之致也。繇是昦天垂J36nB357_p0605b07矜、先聖行睿,釋網著於成湯天子、埋骨興於文王聖J36nB357_p0605b08人。壽禪師慈風未泯,贖鱗虫而得度;蓮大師悲心由J36nB357_p0605b09在,鑿窪池被物蠢以全生;孫真人遺寵猶存,救龍子J36nB357_p0605b10而傳方。沙彌易短命為長年,一活蟻也;書生改卑名J36nB357_p0605b11為上第,一放龜也。孔愉微職而封侯,毛寶臨危而脫J36nB357_p0605b12難。酒匠拯已溺之蠅,死形而復穌;廚婢捨將烹之鱉,J36nB357_p0605b13痼疾而痊瘉。俾居水族者游潛泳沫、處林澤者跳躍J36nB357_p0605b14飛翔,獲驗全生之樂、自得性中之天。放生之效,事非J36nB357_p0605b15無徵,施皆有報,昭然如此。普願仁人,隨所見物,恤念J36nB357_p0605b16生靈,物我一體。發慈悲心,共相勸勉;開解脫門,好生J36nB357_p0605b17植福;捐己之財,行方便事。予具言至此,諒同志者目J36nB357_p0605b18擊於心。或恩周多命,而莫積陰功,多福聚於今生;若J36nB357_p0605b19惠及一蟲,而利益寧尟,餘慶逮于他世。苟能慈心接J36nB357_p0605b20物,更加稱念佛名,彌陀古佛,當體輝彰。唯斯念佛法J36nB357_p0605b21門,超脫業障苦海,均資九有、拔利四生。當知揭顯戒J36nB357_p0605b22殺放生,念佛功德最勝者也,請各直下承當。
回蜀省親傳
J36nB357_p0605b24前佛應化,不誕虛空,然有父母、宗屬、生氏令人歷傳J36nB357_p0605b25可考。蓋吾人之有親,猶水之有源、木之有根,所從來J36nB357_p0605b26者也。吾宗之著,止周宣王之代,支分派別,散之六合,J36nB357_p0605b27抑從來亦遼矣!又何知焉?所審高祖、曾祖居蜀成都J36nB357_p0605b28資縣,吾祖所生惟先君;先君生二人,余其次也。而先J36nB357_p0605b29君治生最專慎,教兒極嚴謹。余七歲始入館,至十齡J36nB357_p0605b30時,遇佘酋叛亂。一日,父諭之曰:「殺戮之刑,何以相遠?」J36nB357_p0605c01予即求出塵,先君、吾母即命出家,及攝衣從師剃落。J36nB357_p0605c02未逮一載,先君以吾母囑長兄事之,亦從佛薙髮,如J36nB357_p0605c03是空門者踰十二年。哀哀先君,不幸先朝癸酉以疾J36nB357_p0605c04而終。先君生于萬曆二十一年癸巳十月初五日,歿J36nB357_p0605c05於崇禎六年三月十二日也。余選日茶毘,建塔於富J36nB357_p0605c06順縣瓦宅舖九龍寺之南山舊額五龍廟,明季時,鄉紳諱麟,號瀛仙,周老先J36nB357_p0605c07生改為九能寺。守塔一載,參學心切,奮志南詢。自離故鄉三J36nB357_p0605c08十有五祀,未始不欲南還塔隴修法,為父之冥贊,會J36nB357_p0605c09其世之亂,猶未果念。嗚呼!余何能述先君?聊記大概,J36nB357_p0605c10用以想見其音容耳!吾母成我之道未酬,自於懷之J36nB357_p0605c11育之,不計其劬勞之恩;吾母事先君,以先君不治家,J36nB357_p0605c12捐愛出塵;吾長兄年幼,吾母持家拮据勞苦,余兒童J36nB357_p0605c13出家,又何知哉?自今思之,先君、吾母之德,實同天無J36nB357_p0605c14際、海無涯,雖釋子割愛,而形生大本,孰可忘之?吾母J36nB357_p0605c15雖則有兄奉養,而不能躬行定省之事執,兼且道力J36nB357_p0605c16弗充,莫克致父母宗親於安養之上品。仰觀大覺世J36nB357_p0605c17尊成道之初,說法於靈鷲山中,父皇成道於當時;又J36nB357_p0605c18說法於忉利天宮,聖母直下證無生忍。聖人可謂與J36nB357_p0605c19人道大合也。慕諸勝軌,目犍連運神力,破嶽府之深J36nB357_p0605c20扃,拔母罪而直出泥犁;黃蘗隔江投火,母獲生天,感J36nB357_p0605c21聞其謝子之聲於雲旆之端倪;睦州師編蒲呼母,母J36nB357_p0605c22亦悟道恭行,以籃輿負母,至於竟老;六祖始鬻薪以J36nB357_p0605c23養其母,將登黃梅從師,患無以為母贍,殆欲為傭以J36nB357_p0605c24取資,及得法南還,而其母已歾,慨不得以道見之,東J36nB357_p0605c25震法幢,賴獦獠漢健身揚名,至今存焉!遂寺其家以J36nB357_p0605c26善之,終亦歸于此也,故葉落歸根。能祖道人也,詎測J36nB357_p0605c27量其異德,猶示人而遺其本也?然而諸名德不忘其J36nB357_p0605c28親,於聖人之意得之矣!且二十餘年,鄉邑嬰於大亂,J36nB357_p0605c29未知吾母若存若歿,先父塔廬得不為其剽難猝暴J36nB357_p0605c30乎?瞻之望之,漣然泣下。今年會事益有所感,是可以J36nB357_p0606a01省吾親、安吾親,遂旋里之舉故著是說,發明吾佛列J36nB357_p0606a02祖大孝之密意奧理耳!時大清康熙六年丁未仲秋J36nB357_p0606a03十二日歸覲,生事死祭,孝斯在矣!
J36nB357_p0606a04挂鐘板。師呈板云:「鉗錘佛祖,號令人天,今日懸堂前,J36nB357_p0606a05通身無向背。於此薦得,金鐘恆說無生法;玉板常鳴J36nB357_p0606a06劫外音。」遂擊板云:「若將耳聽終難會,眼處聞聲方始J36nB357_p0606a07親。」
J36nB357_p0606a08挂火板。「觀音入理門,衲子莫蹉跎。」擊板云:「分明舉似J36nB357_p0606a09絕淆訛,逐色尋聲已錯過。」
J36nB357_p0606a10開梆。「形聲未先,曠默以何準?簨橫崇臺,善存而殊應。」J36nB357_p0606a11舉椎云:「椎下無私,聲前不讓。」隨擊梆云:「直下洪音施J36nB357_p0606a12正令,衲僧莫不共徜徉。」
J36nB357_p0606a13安監齋。「手中鉞斧護身符,凜凜威風見也無?化供察J36nB357_p0606a14齋忙不徹,叢林擁衛助香廚。」
佛事
J36nB357_p0606a16為天童密雲悟老和尚忌日設供。拈香指幀云:「堂堂J36nB357_p0606a17覿面、覿面堂堂,於一毛端,智遍法界。為甚麼古德道:J36nB357_p0606a18『覿面相逢,堂堂不見?』」舉坐具召眾云:「還知西來落處J36nB357_p0606a19麼?昔曾親喫棒,至今痛不已。然雖如是,一段苦屈不J36nB357_p0606a20得不說破。」良久,以香爇爐云:「天童佛法無多,面目分J36nB357_p0606a21明。見麼?」遂率眾展拜。
J36nB357_p0606a22香嚴宕山遠師翁訃音至,挂幀云:「先師翁慈容,窺覷J36nB357_p0606a23有繇,遽聞遷化,吁嗟涕淋,法門不幸,痛傷莫量。翁昔J36nB357_p0606a24繼濟宗銘、今示真歸告,且喜自始至末、從初到終,一J36nB357_p0606a25期事畢,真善知識。西來忝為法孫,誠謂青出於藍,今J36nB357_p0606a26日不免設一分供、點一盃茶、爇一瓣香熏禰鼻孔。」召J36nB357_p0606a27眾云:「還見香嚴老古錐麼?」復指幀云:「虔修薄供惟翁J36nB357_p0606a28鑒,三片旃檀三度熏。」遂燒香上供,展拜。
J36nB357_p0606a29香嚴遠師翁週忌,拈香云:「親翁三番,覿面難睹;離翁J36nB357_p0606a30一載,難睹覿面。今朝狹路相逢,難為迴避,誠欲撮土J36nB357_p0606b01為香,不免傍觀者哂。」舉起香云:「大眾!若道是香也觸J36nB357_p0606b02了、非香也背了,畢竟如何?咦!」便燒。
J36nB357_p0606b03暮春宕師翁諱日,拈香云:「昔年今日生,幸值春深山J36nB357_p0606b04色織;昔年今日滅,雨泣山花紅似火。生滅去來,卓然J36nB357_p0606b05超絕,時節分明,面目現成。」良久云:「常憶江南三月裏,J36nB357_p0606b06鷓鴣啼處百華香。」
J36nB357_p0606b07丁未秋回川,為先君在天定公掃塔。云:「河山閱歷數J36nB357_p0606b08千里,無縫塔前覓父容,誰曉先君真面目,兒孫顯露J36nB357_p0606b09日用中。」遂插香上供作禮。
J36nB357_p0606b10為佛會菴懸鐘。「洪爐鞴內越翻身,偉器成來世所珍。」J36nB357_p0606b11鳴鐘三下云:「音震乾坤惠號令,喚回多少夢迷人?」
J36nB357_p0606b12黃龍奇然智先老和尚訃音至,挂幀舉哀云:「百丈峰J36nB357_p0606b13前古法幢,全提唱道久非常,抽身鬧裏獨歸去,海涸J36nB357_p0606b14山崩五內傷。雖然如是,正似昔年大庾嶺頭笑卻成J36nB357_p0606b15哭;今日西來門下哭卻成笑。何也?豈不聞古宿有云:J36nB357_p0606b16『喫泉水,貴地脈,且要正眼流通、宗風不墜。』可謂於時J36nB357_p0606b17法幢摧而未摧、法梁折而未折、法河乾而未乾、法眼J36nB357_p0606b18滅而未滅。諸人若能如是會,奚用哭蒼天?祇如通信J36nB357_p0606b19一句又如何道?祖月凌空圜勝智,何山松柏不青青?」J36nB357_p0606b20遂拈香作禮九拜。
J36nB357_p0606b21先老和尚一周,上供。指幀云:「此是黃龍堂上先師奇J36nB357_p0606b22老和尚一生孤硬不近人情底面目,不肖明林昔遭J36nB357_p0606b23鈍置,今日故無三轉語。諸人薦麼?設或躊躇,再為注J36nB357_p0606b24腳。」舉:「僧問巴陵鑑禪師云:『如何是提婆宗?』陵云:『銀碗J36nB357_p0606b25裏盛雪。』『如何是吹毛劍?』云:『珊瑚枝枝撐著月。』『祖意、教J36nB357_p0606b26意是同是別?』云:『雞寒上樹、鴨寒下水。』後雲門聞云:『老J36nB357_p0606b27僧百年後,只將此三轉語供養老僧足矣!』」遂驀顧左J36nB357_p0606b28石云:「即今素拙兒一語也無,且作麼生報答?」作女人J36nB357_p0606b29拜,乃上香上供作禮。
J36nB357_p0606b30先老和尚諱日上供。拈香云:「東君行正令,及節遍閻J36nB357_p0606c01浮,梅闢花燦爛,馨香子實稠。者是老漢鼻孔分明,覿J36nB357_p0606c02面昂藏,即今還有知老凍濃本命元辰底麼?」良久云:J36nB357_p0606c03「兒孫已普傳天下,壽量無窮不計秋。」遂插香,率眾禮J36nB357_p0606c04拜。
J36nB357_p0606c05先老和尚三周,對塔上供。「百丈山頭擒虎兕,漢江波J36nB357_p0606c06上釣鯨鼇,口吞佛祖絕同類,眼蓋乾坤獨據高。前年J36nB357_p0606c07二月初三那伽定,今歲三周慧辨豪。」驀豎拂子召眾J36nB357_p0606c08云:「看看!先師從定而起,在拂子上放紫金光、說微妙J36nB357_p0606c09法,頓令人天親獲記莂。還見麼?還聞麼?於此見得聞J36nB357_p0606c10得,慧日高懸,法雲彌布,箇裏玄要掀翻、主賓不立,淨J36nB357_p0606c11裸裸無內外,孤卓卓亙古今。所以徹骨徹髓,血脈貫J36nB357_p0606c12通;透頂透底,乾坤獨露。綿綿不漏,器器相傳。不肖秀J36nB357_p0606c13上座親為諸仁點出,作將來眼。」拈起香云:「有來由、無J36nB357_p0606c14巴壁,沒興相逢黃龍寺。拾得底,無頭無尾、無眼耳鼻J36nB357_p0606c15舌身意。」復舉起香云:「若是一片旃檀香,嗅著全無香J36nB357_p0606c16氣。今日外揚家醜,明人不作暗事。」便燒。
J36nB357_p0606c17為一真大師起龕。「有佛處不肯住,覺華拂拂面門開;J36nB357_p0606c18無佛處徑走過,踏碎雲山俱腳底。自不夜行,天明已J36nB357_p0606c19到。」遂拽杖引之。
J36nB357_p0606c20入塔。拓起骨云:「盡十方世界是箇金剛正體、是箇無J36nB357_p0606c21縫塔門,到者裏出亦無礙、入亦無礙。」遂進骨云:「無縫J36nB357_p0606c22塔中開正眼,普門千古鎮常存。」
J36nB357_p0606c23安陸太音庵法孫普德、普續請為印文師祖起龕。「心J36nB357_p0606c24地坦然,性光皎潔,又安得有去來徑之可分、有生死J36nB357_p0606c25相之可別?然則如此,理絕千差、事無一向。且道起龕J36nB357_p0606c26一句又作麼生?這條鼻直通霄路,輕然移步往西方。」J36nB357_p0606c27下火。師至龕前,把炬云:「平生機用今朝盡,辭世茶毗J36nB357_p0606c28正此時,劫火洞然凜凜發,通身觸著光煒熙。」攛火炬J36nB357_p0606c29云:「欲問印公安樂土,西方端坐寶蓮池。」
J36nB357_p0606c30入塔。「火滅煙消會見稀,無生面目沒倚依,頓辭人世J36nB357_p0607a01隱形外,脫體巍然對落暉。恭惟老耆宿印公覺靈,七J36nB357_p0607a02十六年前始於郢地生,生而無生相;七十六年後終J36nB357_p0607a03於郢城去,去而無去跡。正所謂:『無始來,生死交謝而J36nB357_p0607a04靡移;亙古今,寒暑迭遷而不易。』今既非去,昔亦豈來?J36nB357_p0607a05迥超三際,獨脫今時。所以住閻浮七十六年,實性孤J36nB357_p0607a06高,胸懷安靜,現前兒孫蟄蟄、法眷繩繩,續焰聯綿,分J36nB357_p0607a07枝列派,今日化緣已畢,頓歸安養。祇如應時應節作J36nB357_p0607a08麼生是退藏於密?」遂下襯云:「烈焰堆中煆過,無縫塔J36nB357_p0607a09裏安身。」
J36nB357_p0607a10香嚴師翁塔前上供。拈香云:「燈傳臨濟,不容擬議,掀J36nB357_p0607a11翻窠臼,直截為人,六坐道場,慣用圜機。且道黃龍法J36nB357_p0607a12孫明林今日到這裏,向甚處相見師翁聻?」遂作○相J36nB357_p0607a13云:「一塔巍然千古秀,日月長明不夜燈。」禮拜退。
J36nB357_p0607a14安陸北關外白衣庵,穎石、轉石、崑石、衡石禪德請悼J36nB357_p0607a15先師潤慈德公上座。對靈云:「點點荷錢池畔綠,枝枝J36nB357_p0607a16榴火檻邊紅,當陽薦得真消息,直往西方剎土中。恭J36nB357_p0607a17惟潤公覺靈,棄常郡旺族、入瞿曇氏門,出處非凡,安J36nB357_p0607a18身得地。始於太音教院肆志法義,然後住持北關外J36nB357_p0607a19白衣庵三十餘載,使殿閣鼎新、山門壯觀、佛像嚴飾、J36nB357_p0607a20器具周全,可謂光前耀後,正好應緣行化,何期彼岸J36nB357_p0607a21先登?」復祭云:「嗚呼!公之為人兮,識見高明;公之處世J36nB357_p0607a22兮,胸懷特達;公之齒德兮,尊乎高上;公之戒珠兮,淨J36nB357_p0607a23爾無塵;公之法眷兮,派衍賡後。真一世之偉仁兮,後J36nB357_p0607a24昆之良範,詎料忽唱滅兮,令人淚出痛腸。嗚呼!岸柳J36nB357_p0607a25依依兮,亭花簇簇;即境明心兮,了無回互。吾今告公J36nB357_p0607a26真言兮,確實還鄉;這邊那邊兮,形諱聲揚。勒文致祭J36nB357_p0607a27兮,介師盛德;香茗薄奠兮,揭徒寸心。生死幻化兮,寂J36nB357_p0607a28滅為樂;靈其不昧兮,倏爾來歆。」
J36nB357_p0607a29起龕。「公滅亦速,合徹玄微,體絕依倚,徐行獨步。然雖J36nB357_p0607a30如是,且起龕一句作麼生道?程途俱不歷,頃刻到西J36nB357_p0607b01方。」以杖擊龕,引之而行。
J36nB357_p0607b02入塔。「無來無去,千古音容常在;不生不滅,本來面目J36nB357_p0607b03恆存。」下龕云:「坐斷涅槃城,端踞無縫塔,代代子孫賢,J36nB357_p0607b04栴檀樹無雜。」
J36nB357_p0607b05為古蘭和尚塔前設供。「佛祖出世,應緣行化,度生事J36nB357_p0607b06畢,返本還源。法兄古蘭和尚,生緣西川,與吾同門,道J36nB357_p0607b07眼洞明,靈機廓徹。前年繼先師法席,正欲高踞猊座,J36nB357_p0607b08播揚宗教,豈謂化緣已竟,辭眾說偈而逝?今日法弟J36nB357_p0607b09紹席,別無所敬,香焚三炷、茗斟一甌,略伸道義,格鑒J36nB357_p0607b10微情。」遂插香拜
J36nB357_p0607b11悼南召迎恩映昧和尚。「轉無上法輪於鹿鳴,為人曾J36nB357_p0607b12不憚敷揚,如日當午,罄無側影;提毘盧正印於迎恩,J36nB357_p0607b13揭翻佛祖開玄路,如風吹水,自然成紋。鎔凡鍛聖,只J36nB357_p0607b14在剎那;出死超生,如同游戲。大眾!還知喜法弟用處J36nB357_p0607b15麼?縱橫手面與人別,榜樣堪留後世看。」
J36nB357_p0607b16法徒尚景、尚溥,為故恩師淨極、故伯立宗二公三周,J36nB357_p0607b17誦經禮懺上供請悼。「二公萬事已都忘,兩曜昇沉一J36nB357_p0607b18任忙,落落襟懷絕塵慮,了無心念往西方。唯法子淨J36nB357_p0607b19極澂公者,戒撿冰清,不惜身命,為法重故,攻苦清淡,J36nB357_p0607b20刺血書經,而能明佛心宗,備行法門中事;以法徒立J36nB357_p0607b21宗道公者,與淨公一日薙髮,同期具圜。二公行解兼J36nB357_p0607b22全,豈非有行乎?然廿餘載之間,晝夜奔馳出入,孜孜J36nB357_p0607b23不懈,使西來法幢煥然一新,山門壯麗,真一世英傑、J36nB357_p0607b24後學良範。正宜執持院事,何期一旦傾逝?嗚呼!人之J36nB357_p0607b25生兮,聚首同住;人之死兮,各行異路。嘆萬法無常、嗟J36nB357_p0607b26色身匪固。臨行說偈相辭,撒手翩翩獨步。俄驚三周J36nB357_p0607b27之期,設供誦經薦度,悟自性彌陀、達惟心淨土。溪聲J36nB357_p0607b28舌相處處全彰,山色身形頭頭顯露,祭薄奠之珍饈,J36nB357_p0607b29想二公之來赴。」
J36nB357_p0607b30為後堂太初敏禪德起龕。「日暖風和爽氣新,密移一J36nB357_p0607c01步正斯辰,而今撒手歸何處?直往西方罷問程。」
J36nB357_p0607c02下火。「我心傷痛太初公,誠實胸懷無有二,毘尼嚴淨J36nB357_p0607c03若珠珍,出處為人而得地。上座生緣蜀夔,高梁古氏J36nB357_p0607c04之子,幼年薙髮,靈機敏達,慧性開通,然後晚景出蜀,J36nB357_p0607c05慨爾西來圜具。十二年間,處身不憚勤勞,輔弼山野,J36nB357_p0607c06意氣高賢,檀那敬德、衲子稱名,正好佐助叢林,何期J36nB357_p0607c07一旦傾逝?浮生七十三世緣今已謝,到這裏,須信道:J36nB357_p0607c08『涅槃無二路、方便有多門,越過生死關,絲毫無間隔。』」J36nB357_p0607c09乃舉火炬云:「敏後堂,會不會?當機宜悟真消息,便是J36nB357_p0607c10逍遙物外人。」攛火炬云:「欲識到家安穩處,紅爐焰上J36nB357_p0607c11露全身。」
J36nB357_p0607c12為靜虛禪德設供。「雪消庭畔凍𨴍河,大地陽回暖氣J36nB357_p0607c13多,欲識真靈歸去處,一輪明月蘸清波。恭惟圜寂靜J36nB357_p0607c14虛海公覺靈,性質孤高、胸懷坦蕩。足下幸得薙髮上J36nB357_p0607c15首智覃公者,現紹臨濟正宗,分枝列派,可謂法眷繩J36nB357_p0607c16繩、兒孫蟄蟄。禪德既住,人世已滿,且喜玅契無生。所J36nB357_p0607c17以吾佛道:『諸行無常,是生滅法,生滅滅已,寂滅為樂。』J36nB357_p0607c18若也恁麼薦得,本來面目分明在,春水春山顯舊形。J36nB357_p0607c19今日仙茗一甌香一片,聊伸道義眷微情。」
起龕。「雲深J36nB357_p0607c20二月聚西峰,可惜光陰日不同,試看山前桃李樹,此J36nB357_p0607c21時猶自醉東風。」驀拈拄杖指龕云:「且道者上座向何J36nB357_p0607c22方所?蟭螟穩跨崑崙背,撞倒須彌壓碎空。」
J36nB357_p0607c23下火。「七十七年間,一心渾落魄,課佛持戒堅,示疾而J36nB357_p0607c24告寂。證得金剛不壞身,便歸如來大圜覺。」攛火炬云:J36nB357_p0607c25「紅爐焰焰雪花飛,一點靈光遍寥廓。」
J36nB357_p0607c26為立宗知客起龕。「出生出死,得大自在。且如何是出J36nB357_p0607c27生出死得大自在一著子?」良久,以杖引云:「擺手毘盧J36nB357_p0607c28頂上行,便是當人好消息。」
J36nB357_p0607c29下火。「未悟客塵,煩惱熾盛,既明一真,廓然清淨。」豎火J36nB357_p0607c30炬云:「須看死柴頭,活燄揚真令,直教皮袋從此盡,留J36nB357_p0608a01得莖毛翠拂天。」
J36nB357_p0608a02為元宗禪人起龕。「應知諸法如幻,生死猶若雷電,來J36nB357_p0608a03去自住圜通,直往西方無間。」
J36nB357_p0608a04下火。「五十三年前生生幻,五十三年後死死幻,生死J36nB357_p0608a05根株,今已坐斷。皮囊付與丙丁童,灼灼光明輝八面。」
J36nB357_p0608a06為福宗緣知殿起龕。「且喜達惟心,彌陀遠降迎,接引J36nB357_p0608a07歸佛國,臺畔禮慈尊。」
J36nB357_p0608a08下火。「陣陣朔風送福宗,信是超然樂無窮,直須火裏J36nB357_p0608a09翻身去,獨步毘盧頂上頭。」
J36nB357_p0608a10為佛隱貴侍者起龕。以杖擊龕云:「佛隱山河體性空,J36nB357_p0608a11休分南北與西東,今朝躍出生死路,萬派千峰總一J36nB357_p0608a12同。」
J36nB357_p0608a13下火。拈炬豎起云:「不變金剛體,明明在目前,隨緣須J36nB357_p0608a14透脫,獨露莫貪觀。此去再來吞佛祖,巾瓶左右得逢J36nB357_p0608a15原。且道末後全提句又作麼生?」攛火炬云:「來去杳杳J36nB357_p0608a16絕形跡,烈燄爐中片雪寒。」
J36nB357_p0608a17入塔。「學無前後,達者為先。生居人世,一十九年,西來J36nB357_p0608a18出家,圜具參禪,志念真堅。吞栗棘蓬、透金剛圈,臨終J36nB357_p0608a19念佛,擦手安然!」拓襯入塔云:「孤峰頂上埋金骨,淨土J36nB357_p0608a20花開一朵蓮。」
壽塔
J36nB357_p0608a22丁巳季春廿四日,為師造壽塔,功畢集眾上塔頂,請J36nB357_p0608a23示眾。師至塔前云:「春風浩浩,林木長新,無縫浮圖,巍J36nB357_p0608a24然卓立。」拈拄杖指塔云:「大眾!此是現住西來傳臨濟J36nB357_p0608a25正宗第三十四代秀野明林末後全身竁窆之所,今J36nB357_p0608a26日不顧面皮厚、不識羞恥,親拈自弄,自揚家醜,與諸J36nB357_p0608a27公重下注腳。」良久云:「茲者廣濟澂源主人、荊南罕拙J36nB357_p0608a28上座,及我嗣法門人、合山諸公、列剎高德眾居士等,J36nB357_p0608a29不忘靈山之囑,直指湘南潭北,大家信手拈來,頓成J36nB357_p0608a30一座寶塔,可謂超出古人一頭地矣!莫言忠國留此J36nB357_p0608b01樣,祇是古今浪相傳。所以截斷大庾支離、覷破疏山J36nB357_p0608b02漏逗,故知鷲嶺當年事,今日分明不用猜,無縫層層J36nB357_p0608b03於一致,當陽卓立泯功該。斯事且置,祇如理圜事畢,J36nB357_p0608b04轉功就位一句作麼生道?金針雙鎖全心印,永鎮陂J36nB357_p0608b05湖億萬年。」
