師云:「峰巒峭異鶴不停棲靈鳳無依獨翀宵漢且道J34nB311_p0621c23是何人境界?」以如意畫破:「會麼大煞天然漆桶不J34nB311_p0621c24太煞淆訛野狐作怪真機不發枉匿死生正眼不J34nB311_p0621c25徒償業債秪如真機如何得發正眼如何得開?」J34nB311_p0621c26舉如意:「大眾看看如意子𨁝跳上三十三天觸著J34nB311_p0621c27帝釋鼻孔十殿閻王打一鐵棒怒氣不禁直得南山J34nB311_p0621c28起雲北山下雨黃檗山上月白風清法眼寺中紅爐J34nB311_p0621c29飛雪會麼?」良久顧視大眾:「隴上梅花開也未我將J34nB311_p0621c30先寄有心人。」

師舉:「昔日長慶禪師悟道頌云:『萬象之中獨露身J34nB311_p0622a10人自肯乃方親昔時謬向途中覓今日方知火裏冰。』J34nB311_p0622a11大眾其中有自肯者麼且道如何是火裏冰聻獨露J34nB311_p0622a12身是如何是獨露身聻火裏冰是獨露身與火裏冰J34nB311_p0622a13是同是別你大眾各自簡點看。」眾下語不契師乃云J34nB311_p0622a14古人云:『承言須會宗。』不是亂統說得如實不會宗旨J34nB311_p0622a15但將自痛切處出求決擇發問不起便好痛自討J34nB311_p0622a16箇落處不可捏怪造語熱鬧人耳目也我要人各各J34nB311_p0622a17發明自本分事然後始有酬唱分你看自本分J34nB311_p0622a18上還容得三藏十二部底元字腳麼還容得一千七J34nB311_p0622a19百底公案麼還容得生死涅槃種種名相麼還容得J34nB311_p0622a20成佛作祖底道理麼若皆容不得如何佛祖又設了J34nB311_p0622a21許多機緣聻你試仔細自看從無始來在那裏安身J34nB311_p0622a22立命得恁麼堅密從十二類中受了許多磨折如何J34nB311_p0622a23還有我遮箇你如何反不自知聻你若向遮裏直下J34nB311_p0622a24看透方許你聊通一線方許你判斷古今機緣如自J34nB311_p0622a25尚不知自落處強欲分別古今之事何異狂狗J34nB311_p0622a26逐塊乎?」僧問:「狗子有佛性也無?」師云:「你有佛性也無?」J34nB311_p0622a27進云:「萬法歸一一歸何處?」師云:「那箇教你恁麼問?」J34nB311_p0622a28:「不知。」師云:「我遮裏棒不輕打人底。」乃云:「各各立地J34nB311_p0622a29欠箇甚麼莫向別人討好別人豈有剩物與人我不J34nB311_p0622a30要你參佛祖禪只要你參取你自本分事果有J34nB311_p0622b01死可了也無果有佛祖禪道也無參透了始知我不J34nB311_p0622b02肯輕欺你也可惜了遮一對好明燭孤負了遮一J34nB311_p0622b03瓶好蓮花。」僧向前提起花瓶便行師云:「提起那裏去?」J34nB311_p0622b04僧云:「請和尚歸方丈。」師叱云:「你偏好恁麼捏怪。」

師方坐次恒鑒問云:「雜念紛飛時如何?」師云:「放下著。」J34nB311_p0622b07進云:「一念不生時如何?」師云:「提起著。」進云:「如何行履J34nB311_p0622b08不犯國王水艸?」師以如意畫一畫:「截斷路頭著。」J34nB311_p0622b09無語師云:「會麼?」進云:「不會。」師乃云:「大眾立地自看J34nB311_p0622b10竟是箇甚麼得恁麼難見難會也須是親向其中逼J34nB311_p0622b11拶到無可逼拶處始有自肯分所謂萬古碧潭空界J34nB311_p0622b12再三撈摝始應知秪如我遮如意子若不是真的J34nB311_p0622b13識得如何要提起即提起要放下即放下要截斷凡J34nB311_p0622b14聖路頭即截斷凡聖路頭要殺即殺要活即活蓋繇J34nB311_p0622b15我知得用得始不為他所欺也不然總是業識忙忙J34nB311_p0622b16有何可據如人自不知自鼻孔向人曰:『我有鼻J34nB311_p0622b17我無鼻孔我即有即無鼻孔我非即有非即無鼻J34nB311_p0622b18。』此豈真知鼻孔也哉若果一朝親自摸得始信從J34nB311_p0622b19前皆是自妄想顛倒也故從上佛祖出世種種方J34nB311_p0622b20便無非助人發機使人自求自落處一朝親見J34nB311_p0622b21知佛祖無實法與人也如當時慈明偕諸同志於兵J34nB311_p0622b22戈中混為廝養直造汾州參無德昭禪師昭知彼中J34nB311_p0622b23有大法器更不為彼說法一味以世諦㛱媟之事以J34nB311_p0622b24毒發其毒業密置於烈燄猛鎚之中直要煆盡他無J34nB311_p0622b25始習氣命根然後始知臨濟之道迥出常流也所以J34nB311_p0622b26大愚芝密激雲峰悅葉縣省煆煉浮山遠皆非常手J34nB311_p0622b27近世學處不玄師宗不玅類以死語死法接人J34nB311_p0622b28按牛頭喫艸令無傷人舉哀又安得有真性情之激J34nB311_p0622b29烈哉今日參學之弊皆是參言語文字禪非參了生J34nB311_p0622b30脫死禪皆是參知解機鋒禪非參見性明心禪所以J34nB311_p0622c01秪圖說得頌得心意識卜度得更不求身心性命落J34nB311_p0622c02處畢竟如何始了生脫死也雖然如是直須知有三J34nB311_p0622c03種喫緊事始得一要痛惜光陰不可蹉誤一要依止J34nB311_p0622c04師友恐墮迷途一要親自痛切始有生機所謂欲知J34nB311_p0622c05佛法當觀時節因緣時節若至其理自彰。』然此時節J34nB311_p0622c06因緣不是自肯自切雖遇佛祖現前安得有啄啐同J34nB311_p0622c07時之機用哉是以佛祖出世百千方便亦不過為此J34nB311_p0622c08肯切二字著力耳肯切二字即是你話頭即是你疑J34nB311_p0622c09即是你發機即是你入路即是你百千三昧法門J34nB311_p0622c10即是出生死取心性之金剛王寶劍從始至終超凡J34nB311_p0622c11越聖直是此肯切二字你若肯切三世佛祖也沒奈J34nB311_p0622c12你何你若不肯切三世佛祖亦不奈你何何故把手J34nB311_p0622c13教他行不得要人自肯乃方親予有何言哉?」

眾請師堂中小參陳司寇公偕入禮拜坐次建幢問J34nB311_p0622c16眾手淘金誰是得者?」師云:「直公牙齒疼。」進云:「寒暑煎J34nB311_p0622c17學人向何處迴避?」師云:「去著。」幢禮拜而退師曰:「J34nB311_p0622c18富鄭公見投子顒禪師陞座顒舉目作象王回顧勢J34nB311_p0622c19富公特地有省及下座隨入方丈顒見公即勵聲曰J34nB311_p0622c20相公入室富弼還在門外。』公直得汗下。」師曰:「秪如J34nB311_p0622c21陳司寇公昨日從刀兵中來為箇甚麼聻我道公J34nB311_p0622c22入堂汝等還在門外其中亦有出白汗者麼?」覺空問J34nB311_p0622c23渠無國土何處逢渠?」師曰:「大光明中那容罔兩?」進云J34nB311_p0622c24恁麼則請和尚歸方丈。」師曰:「要且不見我在。」司寇公J34nB311_p0622c25:「昔有何心隱講學時張江陵相公忽來耿天臺出J34nB311_p0622c26接入何不起座揖手?」:「方外人不為禮。」張公曰:「你見J34nB311_p0622c27在方內如何說方外適大師謂某在堂內諸人在堂J34nB311_p0622c28何也?」師哂曰:「公猶作堂外會那?」公曰:「元無內外。」J34nB311_p0622c29:「公只今在那裏?」公曰:「在遮裏向火。」師曰:「尚隔一案J34nB311_p0622c30。」公曰:「師只今是坐是立?」師展兩手示之復曰:「善財J34nB311_p0623a01於玅高峰為甚麼不見德雲乃向別峰相見?」公無語J34nB311_p0623a02師曰:「眾中還有道得者麼?」覺空出禮拜師曰:「鷂子過J34nB311_p0623a03新羅也。」陳公又問:「撥盡寒爐如何愈撥愈不見一星J34nB311_p0623a04?」師曰:「火燄正滔天。」公無語師曰:「大眾切弗回頭轉J34nB311_p0623a05燒卻眉毛也。」建幢云:「和尚向何處迴避?」師呵呵大J34nB311_p0623a06:「我即熱勝婆羅門也。」幢曰:「莫瞞人好。」師曰:「癡者J34nB311_p0623a07自癡懞者自懞。」因有輕出問話者陳公云:「今蒙大師J34nB311_p0623a08直指如金剛王劍著著斬人知見正為不肖輩因病J34nB311_p0623a09下藥不與尋常接引人也如大師欲因機利導不妨J34nB311_p0623a10說他人話我輩參學只須說自若也說他人話J34nB311_p0623a11便失自參學事也。」師曰:「古人欲直下發明自J34nB311_p0623a12決不隨人語脈所轉若是信口領略與本分有甚相J34nB311_p0623a13?」復舉:「杜順大師懷州牛喫禾益州馬腹脹遍界覓J34nB311_p0623a14醫人炙豬左』;及傅大士空手把鉏頭步行騎水J34nB311_p0623a15人從橋上過橋流水不流二頌及皓布褌將諸佛J34nB311_p0623a16名號寫褲上有人效之立得惡報皓嘗謂:『傅二頌J34nB311_p0623a17秪明得法身邊事尚未明法身向上事。』因示眾曰:『J34nB311_p0623a18夜雨滂滂打倒葡萄棚知事叫行人拄底拄撐底撐J34nB311_p0623a19撐撐拄拄到天明依舊可憐生若於此薦得始知有J34nB311_p0623a20向上事。』」師復曰:「向上事且置且道如何是法身邊事?」J34nB311_p0623a21良久喝一喝便歸方丈

師良久策起眉毛云:「見麼某甲曾親見峨峰和尚來J34nB311_p0623a24莫道今日始到此中也秪如蹋斷千峰轉身就父J34nB311_p0623a25將箇甚麼呈似諸法親聻?」乃舉如意云:「無影枝頭J34nB311_p0623a26凝玉露滴滴能開五葉花。」

師入堂坐定召云:「大眾是甚麼?」良久:「莫被人瞞好。」J34nB311_p0623a29復良久:「還有一箇不受人瞞底麼?」復良久:「動著J34nB311_p0623a30即三十棒。」眾無語師乃起身縱步一匝而立項佩日J34nB311_p0623b01從東過西從西過東師云:「誰恁麼穿堂直過?」佩掩J34nB311_p0623b02耳歸位師云:「苕帚柄聊與三十。」佩云:「和尚莫瞞人好。」J34nB311_p0623b03師云:「隨人腳跟轉有甚麼來繇?」進云:「請和尚歸方丈。」J34nB311_p0623b04師云:「遮裏沒有你開口處。」進云:「和尚也不可道破。」J34nB311_p0623b05:「是你耳聾。」佩一喝師咄:「你遮野干。」進云:「過在甚J34nB311_p0623b06麼處?」師云:「罪不重科。」佩云:「恁麼則角泥牛翻白浪J34nB311_p0623b07衝開海底起紅煙。」師云:「還叫喚那?」乃云:「一堂風冷淡J34nB311_p0623b08千古意分明秪為分明極翻成八不成且道如何得J34nB311_p0623b09十成去?」顧視:「也須仔細始得。」遂歸方丈

過去心過去電光石火杳難追未來心又未來J34nB311_p0623b12角龜毛挑不出現在心雖現在水月鏡花爭摸捉J34nB311_p0623b13以昏沉成國土散亂作眾生釋迦從無始劫刻畫晦J34nB311_p0623b14昧之空彌勒盡末後際鉤鎖色雜之妄仔細簡點將J34nB311_p0623b15大是開眼作夢秪如今日壽昌又教人參究箇甚J34nB311_p0623b16雖然如是肯心未許難清業惑之狂倒想不除J34nB311_p0623b17享本來之玅且道作麼生參究得肯心自許去一語J34nB311_p0623b18頓消千古恨自教天下免干戈。」良久復曰:「堂中連日J34nB311_p0623b19亦有省發與有疑情者麼?」首座擬開口師大喝:「J34nB311_p0623b20!」便起座曰:「大眾有疑出來問。」師以如意驀頭便打J34nB311_p0623b21:「頭落也不知。」

一性融通一切性文殊莫出女子定一法遍舍一切J34nB311_p0623b24罔明彈指便超脫一身普現一切身瞿曇弄假卻J34nB311_p0623b25成真一命永證一切命坐斷聖凡行正令性法身命J34nB311_p0623b26曾無別日可冷兮月可熱不是死中得活人誰能解J34nB311_p0623b27此問心結遮箇結甚奇絕饒是德山托缽與巖頭雪J34nB311_p0623b28遮般毒口蛇心畢竟三人證龜不成鱉。」

僧問:「德山小參不答話和尚今夜還答話否?」師云:「J34nB311_p0623c01髺投衙。」進云:「昨夜不期山上雨滿溪流出落花香。」J34nB311_p0623c02:「擔枷過狀趕出去。」進云:「行行不借雙關路鉤鎖從J34nB311_p0623c03教直下拋。」師云:「罪不重科。」進云:「採葉弗將題姓字J34nB311_p0623c04隨流水到人間。」遂禮拜師云:「一箇大禪堂兩邊列長J34nB311_p0623c05一箇聖僧一爐香日有日光夜有夜光三時粥飯J34nB311_p0623c06叮噹響四時止靜響叮噹一任剔起眉毛豎著脊梁J34nB311_p0623c07捏緊拳頭釘定腳樁你要行也不妨立也不妨坐也J34nB311_p0623c08不妨臥也不妨只有一事汝等也須仔細承當且道J34nB311_p0623c09承當箇甚麼?」良久:「黃連樹上出生薑。」復顧眾:「J34nB311_p0623c10事且置只如汝等久在此中畢竟于自分上事作J34nB311_p0623c11麼生?」僧答語狂亂師切齒痛責:「汝等在此所為何J34nB311_p0623c12肯自欺瞞作此大妄誑語汝等正如新官上任J34nB311_p0623c13等無賴之徒偏去告哄狀考問將來何曾有一點真J34nB311_p0623c14若遇清正之官豈容汝如此奸偽是必處汝以重J34nB311_p0623c15法也知麼況從上古人出世種種施設無非欲使人J34nB311_p0623c16發明本分大事如有對頭人閉門在屋裏坐有人必J34nB311_p0623c17欲與彼主人相見一回或用瓦子敲其門或用石用J34nB311_p0623c18用棒用喝或叫喚其名或好言誘引或惡口罵詈J34nB311_p0623c19或投名刺或傳書柬或親抵其門或差官擒捉或圍J34nB311_p0623c20屋搜拿種種施設不過要他屋裏主人相見一回便J34nB311_p0623c21何曾有實法哉是故古人或良久默默或揚眉瞬J34nB311_p0623c22或拈鎚豎拂或打鼓吹毛百般拈弄正打傍敲J34nB311_p0623c23機密用亦無非欲人發明自主人本命元辰一回J34nB311_p0623c24親見便了豈可執定一法為何如乎然古人師資相J34nB311_p0623c25皆是一段真實心不欺誑心不瞞昧心始得機教J34nB311_p0623c26相投針炙中病不是妄呈妖異互相惑亂也汝不見J34nB311_p0623c27世人欲聽響卜與祈神夢者乎亦必齋明盛服端肅J34nB311_p0623c28身心或求功名或求子息或求貨財或求仕進必須J34nB311_p0623c29明告其心謹白其事以我精氣合神人之精氣以我J34nB311_p0623c30靈機動神人之靈機始得感應道交朕兆發見雖其J34nB311_p0624a01言似吉似凶似好似惡當下不可測度及其機緣時J34nB311_p0624a02明彰較著毫髮不爽乃知神人不我欺也又有一J34nB311_p0624a03等欺心罔聖之徒不畏鬼神恣行奸偽每欲托夢於J34nB311_p0624a04神人而神人安肯授汝之正夢哉即使神人授以屎J34nB311_p0624a05尿令彼食啖而彼心亦自知其為惡或有問之乃佯J34nB311_p0624a06為大喜曰:『昨夜夢神君延我明堂揖我上座奉我以J34nB311_p0624a07如意之珠贈我以彩毫之筆懽喜褎讚而慰諭我將J34nB311_p0624a08來有大顯貴有大受用此必他日有靈驗乎?』世間癡J34nB311_p0624a09人聞其神人待彼如此是必大顯貴也乃為捧擁奉J34nB311_p0624a10無所不至矣嗚呼如此等人豈非天地間之大妖J34nB311_p0624a11大奸險天地鬼神之必誅戮者哉彼自以為得計J34nB311_p0624a12又安知惡不積不足以滅身乎慎之慎之生死海J34nB311_p0624a13中不能奮然自出者正以自欺自昧自沉自沒不受J34nB311_p0624a14人之提拔也誰奈之何誰奈之何!」
