J33nB288_p0571c05小參。云:「開爐結制,上祖遺規;打七打三,今時程範。到J33nB288_p0571c06這紅爐燄上,須是純剛打就、生鐵鑄成的漢子,管取J33nB288_p0571c07指日成功、頃時了辦,驀地玄關透脫,恍爾頂眼豁開,J33nB288_p0571c08便能放出趙州狗子咬殺臨濟瞎驢、溈山水牯踏倒J33nB288_p0571c09楊岐三腳,說甚德山棒、臨濟喝、洞山麻三斤、雲門乾J33nB288_p0571c10屎橛?檢點將來,俱成滯貨。汾陽今日一場特地,還有J33nB288_p0571c11委悉者麼?」良久,云:「單刀直入無回互,奪取錦標意氣J33nB288_p0571c12新。」
J33nB288_p0571c13小參。云:「道得也三十棒,道不得也三十棒,必定作麼J33nB288_p0571c14生免得?還有會得者麼?出來拄杖子為作證明。」眾下J33nB288_p0571c15語不契,乃云:「竿木隨身,逢場作戲,權衡在手,殺活自J33nB288_p0571c16由。有時放行,大地黑漫漫;有時把住,乾坤光爍爍。且J33nB288_p0571c17道:把住為人是?放行為人是?所以云:『殺人須見血,為J33nB288_p0571c18人須為徹,一棒一條痕,一掌一握血。』」良久,云:「未免勞J33nB288_p0571c19他木上座顯露神通去也。」遂拈拄杖一時打散,歸方J33nB288_p0571c20丈。
J33nB288_p0571c21滄起朱太史為薦嚴,請對靈小參。舉:「道吾和尚至,施J33nB288_p0571c22主吊慰次,漸源侍者撫棺問云:『生耶?死耶?』吾云:『生也J33nB288_p0571c23不道,死也不道。』源云:『為甚不道?』吾云:『不道,不道。』同歸J33nB288_p0571c24至途中,源云:『生耶?死耶?和尚快為某甲道,不道即打J33nB288_p0571c25和尚去在。』吾云:『打即任打,道即不道。』源便打。同歸,吾J33nB288_p0571c26云:『汝速去,恐知事得知不便。』源竊去。道吾入滅後,源J33nB288_p0571c27至石霜請益,云:『生耶?死耶?』霜云:『生也不道,死也不道。』J33nB288_p0571c28源云:『為甚不道?』霜云:『不道,不道。』源於言下大悟。」師云:J33nB288_p0571c29「道吾和尚雖是言中有響、句裏藏鋒,可惜狼藉不少。J33nB288_p0571c30何故?當斷不斷,返招其亂。今日若有人問汾陽云:『生J33nB288_p0572a01耶?死耶?』待聲未絕,便與劈脊痛棒,管教當下知歸,免J33nB288_p0572a02向生死流注中作活,亦使忘靈得聞無生法忍。且道:J33nB288_p0572a03今日汾陽與昔道吾是同?是別?」復頌云:「無生法忍當J33nB288_p0572a04陽露,滿目西方現剎塵,生與不生端的處,九蓮花綻J33nB288_p0572a05涌全身。」卓拄杖,下座。
J33nB288_p0572a06結制,小參。僧問:「上無佛道可成,下無眾生可度,且道J33nB288_p0572a07和尚陞座更作甚麼?」師云:「打鳳羅龍。」僧無語,師云:「布J33nB288_p0572a08袋老鴉。」乃云:「這段大事因緣在汝諸人眉睫上,無時J33nB288_p0572a09不放光動地、耀古騰今,見色聞聲、當陽顯露,秪如拈J33nB288_p0572a10匙舉箸、動轉施為,且道畢竟是阿誰運用?到者裏,須J33nB288_p0572a11是伶俐漢一眼覷破,更說甚麼九旬結制、三月安居,J33nB288_p0572a12大千世界為我圓覺伽藍,物物頭頭總成華藏世界,J33nB288_p0572a13放行把住、縱奪自由,殺活臨機、通身手眼?正恁麼時,J33nB288_p0572a14且道結制安居一句作麼生?」良久,云:「止,止,不須說。」卓J33nB288_p0572a15拄杖,下座。
J33nB288_p0572a16小參。云:「全提正令,密運鉗鎚,煆煉衲僧通身手眼,到J33nB288_p0572a17者裏須是個純鋼打就底,向紅爐焰上挨拶將來,自J33nB288_p0572a18然風光大地、意氣乾坤,方為當家種草。山僧恁麼告J33nB288_p0572a19報,已是屈抑諸人了也。若乃依依稀稀、淈淈沌沌,大J33nB288_p0572a20似水浸石頭,那討生發日子?眾中還有見義勇為者J33nB288_p0572a21麼?雪後始知松柏操,事難方見丈夫心。」
J33nB288_p0572a22小參。「彈指秋光冬景半,衲僧巴鼻云何判?諸禪珍重J33nB288_p0572a23莫蹉跎,休等閻家暗打算,直下玄關早透過,管教佛J33nB288_p0572a24祖為侶伴。苟或依俙不恁麼,袈裟之下人身換,山僧J33nB288_p0572a25苦口足堪涼,奮出超群出格漢。果若如是,真誠虛空J33nB288_p0572a26喫汝痛棒;倘或不然,汝喫閻羅鐵棒,莫言不道。」
J33nB288_p0572a27小參。云:「舉谷隱和尚示眾云:『十五日已前諸佛生,你J33nB288_p0572a28不得住我者裏;若住我者裏,我有錐子錐你。十五日J33nB288_p0572a29已後諸佛滅,你不得離我者裏;若離我者裏,我有鉤J33nB288_p0572a30子鉤你。正當十五日,且道用鉤即是?用錐即是?』」師云:J33nB288_p0572b01「者老漢恁麼示眾,大似惡口小家,未免傷鋒犯手。今J33nB288_p0572b02日汾陽不用如何若何,直令一個個前後際斷、生滅J33nB288_p0572b03兩忘,更說甚麼諸佛生滅、鉤錐施設?一任缽囊高挂、J33nB288_p0572b04拄杖橫擔,去住自由,各增意氣。秪如正當十五日又J33nB288_p0572b05作麼生?」良久,云:「一輪光燦爛,千古意輝煌。」
示眾
J33nB288_p0572b07示眾。舉:「僧問古德云:『如何是一大藏教?』德云:『演出演J33nB288_p0572b08入。』」師云:「古德恁麼為人條直,露膽傾心,非但一大藏J33nB288_p0572b09教,將牟尼寶珠覿面和盤托出。廣勝今日重為舉似,J33nB288_p0572b10且道還有酬價者麼?」良久,云:「海神知貴不知價,留與J33nB288_p0572b11人間光照夜。」
J33nB288_p0572b12示眾。云:「秋光彈指又將冬,堪嘆浮生若夢中,生死玄J33nB288_p0572b13關須薦透,休教錯過主人公。生死玄關則且置,云何J33nB288_p0572b14得不錯過主人公聻?」良久,云:「獅子吼時芳草綠,象王J33nB288_p0572b15回顧落花紅。」
J33nB288_p0572b16示眾。云:「箇段大事,歷歷輝騰於腳下;當陽不昧,明明J33nB288_p0572b17獨露在眉間。從朝至暮無回互,動用施為自悄然。既J33nB288_p0572b18是如斯現成,為甚諸人不會?」良久,云:「只為分明極,翻J33nB288_p0572b19令所得遲。」
J33nB288_p0572b20示眾。云:每月十一五,大家同入室,無事可商量,只要J33nB288_p0572b21當下瞥。若也瞥,獨露祖師箇巴鼻;倘未瞥,切須珍重J33nB288_p0572b22知端的。人命無常呼吸間,百歲光陰一瞬息。且問諸J33nB288_p0572b23禪人:還有端的祖師巴鼻者麼?金風昨夜透窗寒,吹J33nB288_p0572b24綻禪關破衲罅。
J33nB288_p0572b25示眾。云:「天寒人寒,點水滴凍,至道無難,惟嫌撿擇,但J33nB288_p0572b26莫憎愛,洞然明白。且道點水滴凍還有撿擇處也無?J33nB288_p0572b27若有撿擇,須向寒風凜凜處高著眼看。若也看得明J33nB288_p0572b28白,管取明明爾、法法爾,助顯大機大用,一任自在風J33nB288_p0572b29流。還有直下承當者麼?」良久,云:「若無舉鼎拔山力,千J33nB288_p0572b30里烏錐不易騎。」
J33nB288_p0572c01示眾。云:「佛未出世,本無一法;祖未西來,了無二致。若J33nB288_p0572c02能於生佛已前薦得,大好一場笑話。何故?若有毫釐J33nB288_p0572c03脩學心,無相光中不自在。所以云:『無明實性即佛性,J33nB288_p0572c04幻化空身即法身,法身覺了無一物,本源自性天真J33nB288_p0572c05佛。』敢問諸禪人:作麼生是天真佛?」良久,云:「我不敢輕J33nB288_p0572c06于汝等。」便下座。
J33nB288_p0572c07示眾。云:「打七打三,佛祖玄關;投機入室,衲僧巴鼻。人J33nB288_p0572c08人問答分明,箇箇獅兒骨格,切須自肯乃方親,把手J33nB288_p0572c09牽君行不得。從今各各莫隨流,管取大家都透徹,始J33nB288_p0572c10知生死不相干,任運人天為規則。然雖如是,且道任J33nB288_p0572c11運人天一句意作麼生?」良久,云:「莫怪渠儂多意氣,他J33nB288_p0572c12家曾踏上頭關。」
J33nB288_p0572c13示眾。「佛法二字不在別處,秪在諸人眉睫上,無時不J33nB288_p0572c14輝天鑑地、耀古騰今,貴在當人一肩領荷,向二六時J33nB288_p0572c15中自然孤迥迥、峭巍巍,頭頭爾、法法爾,通身手眼、徹J33nB288_p0572c16體風流,直至水打不溼、針劄不入,圓陀陀、光爍爍。正J33nB288_p0572c17恁麼時,還有恁麼人麼?」良久,云:「碗脫丘。」
J33nB288_p0572c18示眾。舉:「昭祖云:『識得拄杖子,行腳事畢。』」師驀拈拄杖J33nB288_p0572c19云:「還見麼?切不可喚作拄杖子。且道畢竟喚作甚麼?」J33nB288_p0572c20良久,云:「不可尖上更加尖。」
J33nB288_p0572c21示眾。云:「今朝結制並無別意,只要諸人各明大事。敢J33nB288_p0572c22問大眾:阿那箇是大事?驚群須是英靈漢,敵勝還他J33nB288_p0572c23獅子兒。」
J33nB288_p0572c24示眾。云:「古德道:『大道秖在目前,要且目前難睹。』既是J33nB288_p0572c25只在目前,為甚卻又難睹?諸人還會麼?秪為分明極,J33nB288_p0572c26翻令所得遲。」
J33nB288_p0572c27因開園示眾。云:「古人居山樂道,唯憑火種刀耕;乾明J33nB288_p0572c28村居隱拙,但將鉏钁生涯。所謂云:『欲知樂道菴居趣,J33nB288_p0572c29直向钁頭識佛陀。』且問諸禪人:有钁頭邊識得者麼?」J33nB288_p0572c30復頌云:「村居養道興交加,钁地開圃意更賒;若問西J33nB288_p0573a01來端的句,不栽茄子便栽瓜。」
J33nB288_p0573a02示眾,付相空副寺、來源書記。驀拈拂子云:「祖師把柄J33nB288_p0573a03人天表,拈出當陽授克家,異日風雲相聚會,敷揚法J33nB288_p0573a04化驗龍蛇。如是分明舉似,眾中還識恁麼人麼?副寺J33nB288_p0573a05書記須出眾,流通祖道續拈花。」
J33nB288_p0573a06示眾。云:「個事輝天鑒地,耀古騰今,光鋩閃爍,燦爛乾J33nB288_p0573a07坤。所以道:日不待火而熱,月不待風而涼,鳧足自短,J33nB288_p0573a08鶴頸自長,金生麗水,玉出崑崗。秪如恁麼現成,為甚J33nB288_p0573a09不肯承當?是故,古德云:『若要分明自肯,須是通身白J33nB288_p0573a10汗始得。』即今炎天溽暑,人人白汗淋淋,還有自肯者J33nB288_p0573a11麼?」良久,云:「水向石邊流出冷,風從花裏過來香。」
晚參
J33nB288_p0573a13除夕晚參。云:「一年今夜盡,千里聚同堂,末後牢關句,J33nB288_p0573a14乘時為舉揚。不見道:北禪烹露地白牛,與衲子分歲;J33nB288_p0573a15天童宰透海烏雞,為禪客過年。大都隨家豐儉,未免J33nB288_p0573a16憐兒不覺醜,遺風作話端。今日乾明村居養拙,諸兄J33nB288_p0573a17弟為法相依,不敢與古人鬥志比富,但秪抱道為務,J33nB288_p0573a18安貧度時。然雖如是,且道:新舊交加一句作麼生舉J33nB288_p0573a19揚?莫嫌風味乾明淡,且喜平泉透骨涼。」
J33nB288_p0573a20晚參。云:「鑪鞴鉗鎚,陶鑄聖凡利具;叢林保社,養育才J33nB288_p0573a21器寶坊。乾明者裏,有時鬧哄哄,有時靜俏俏,諸人且J33nB288_p0573a22向那邊著力。若向鬧哄哄處承當,渠儂不自由;倘於J33nB288_p0573a23靜俏俏裏著,倒管保有事在。且道去此二途如何行J33nB288_p0573a24履?」良久,云:「龍得水時添意氣,虎逢山色長威獰。」
J33nB288_p0573a25冬節,晚參。云:「結制今經一月,明朝諸禪打七,卻逢冬J33nB288_p0573a26至節臨,陰極一陽來復。萬象撥轉天關,森羅挽回地J33nB288_p0573a27軸,滴水玉潔冰清,石筍抽條寒谷。衲僧意氣風流,獅J33nB288_p0573a28兒猙獰頭角,菩提根芽增長,般若花枝開發,直下遍J33nB288_p0573a29界全彰,物物威音消息。若是未舉先知,許伊當下休J33nB288_p0573a30歇;苟或了徹未然,且須打教親切。秪如親切一句意J33nB288_p0573b01作麼生?」良久,云:「白鼠自推遷,銀臺元不變。」
J33nB288_p0573b02晚參。云:「世尊不說說,大好虛空裏釘橛;迦葉不聞聞,J33nB288_p0573b03恰似海底鼓紅塵。若道說而不說,當面錯過自己、辜J33nB288_p0573b04負世尊;若道聞而不聞,卻又辜負自己、錯過世尊。且J33nB288_p0573b05道:畢竟如何得不錯過、辜負去?」良久,云:「分明月在梅J33nB288_p0573b06花上,看到梅花早已遲。」
J33nB288_p0573b07晚參。問:「四大本空,五蘊非有,且道即今將甚麼說法?」J33nB288_p0573b08師云:「還聞麼?」進云:「三千諸佛出在何處?」師云:「大家在J33nB288_p0573b09者裏。」乃云:「玲瓏寶塔,二六時中,常為諸人談說實相J33nB288_p0573b10妙法日。」問:「還有領會者麼?若也會得,不負擔囊行腳,J33nB288_p0573b11聚首雲堂,共樂放光三昧,幸與釋迦老子覿面相參,J33nB288_p0573b12同行共住。且道還見麼?」良久,云:「動容揚古路,不墮悄J33nB288_p0573b13然機。」
J33nB288_p0573b14晚參。僧問:「寶塔放光,佛在何處?」師云:「陝府鐵牛吞大J33nB288_p0573b15象。」進云:「有佛處不可住,無佛處急走過,意旨若何?」師J33nB288_p0573b16云:「鐵蛇橫古路。」乃云:「廣勝門庭迥不同,參禪持戒播J33nB288_p0573b17宗風,箇中誰是知音者?休糧原是霍山通。」舉拂子,云:J33nB288_p0573b18「諸禪德!知音一句且止,秪如者箇是參禪耶?持戒耶?J33nB288_p0573b19若道是參禪,眼中著屑;若道是持戒,自究不了。倘能J33nB288_p0573b20者裏見得親切,正所謂行布不礙圓融,圓融不礙行J33nB288_p0573b21布;其或未然,不免韓盧逐塊。」
J33nB288_p0573b22晚參。云:「佛祖家風格外機,箇中消息許誰知?眉毛廝J33nB288_p0573b23結忘身究,鼻孔撩天鐵面皮。參方若無如是眼,假饒J33nB288_p0573b24千載亦奚為?只須奮起超群志,獅子西河吼若雷。」
J33nB288_p0573b25晚參。僧問:「某甲已問,請師答話。」師云:「到頭霜夜月,任J33nB288_p0573b26運落前溪。」僧擬,師云:「依俙似曲纔堪聽,又被風吹別J33nB288_p0573b27調中。」僧喝,師便打,乃云:「問已問了,答已答了,諸人更J33nB288_p0573b28覓甚麼碗?不見道:『天晴不肯走,只待雨淋頭。』」遂一時J33nB288_p0573b29打散,歸方丈。
J33nB288_p0573b30晚參。云:「潑天門戶,把手拽不入;匝地家風,牽著猶未J33nB288_p0573c01走。所以云:『把手牽君行不得,為人自肯乃方親,百尺J33nB288_p0573c02竿頭重進步,十方世界現全身。』若是斬釘截鐵衲僧,J33nB288_p0573c03便乃一肩領荷,不妨十二時中頭頭孤迥迥、處處峭J33nB288_p0573c04巍巍,動定施為通身光彩,折旋俯仰徹體風流,可為J33nB288_p0573c05於無言處顯言、有為處無為,何妨喝佛罵祖?誠乃知J33nB288_p0573c06恩報恩、棒雨逐風,可謂感德謝德。苟或未然,喫水也J33nB288_p0573c07須防噎。且道:直下承當一句意作麼生?九萬里鵬纔J33nB288_p0573c08展翅,百千年鶴便翱翔。」
J33nB288_p0573c09晚參。云:「衲僧家秪貴腳跟點地、鼻孔遼天,便能向毘J33nB288_p0573c10盧頂𩕳上橫三豎四、釋迦眼睛裏七縱八橫。苟然如J33nB288_p0573c11斯,端的管取歸家穩坐,任運風流;其或未能,必須眉J33nB288_p0573c12毛挽定,豎起脊梁,決要分明了脫。了脫一句且置,腳J33nB288_p0573c13跟點地一句試道看。」僧便喝,師云:「敕點飛龍馬,跛鱉J33nB288_p0573c14出頭來。」
J33nB288_p0573c15晚參。云:「德山晚參不答話,聲震若雷;趙州晚參卻答J33nB288_p0573c16話,虛空徒側耳。今夜乾明晚參卻不恁麼,無論問話J33nB288_p0573c17不問話,都盧三十棒。何故?各各使知正令流通,三十J33nB288_p0573c18年後免被別人瞞盰去在。」
J33nB288_p0573c19晚參。云:「本分衲僧,必從真實踐履;苟取狂徒,未免言J33nB288_p0573c20行參差。縱爾言前薦得,猶為滯殼迷封;句下承當,卻J33nB288_p0573c21是觸途狂見。所以古人道:『說得一丈,不如行取一尺。』J33nB288_p0573c22又云:『行在說處,說在行處。』且道行說俱到底人必定J33nB288_p0573c23如何履踐?」良久,云:「十字街頭薦取天子,百草頭上識J33nB288_p0573c24取老僧。」
J33nB288_p0573c25新秋,晚參。「昨夜金風初振罷,竹窗今日卻生涼,蟬鳴J33nB288_p0573c26岸柳和煙翠,噪落荷香月滿塘。不見道:『一葉落,天下J33nB288_p0573c27秋;一塵起,大地收。』」驀放如意,云:「一葉落也,還知天下J33nB288_p0573c28秋麼?」復拈如意,云:「一塵起也,還知大地收麼?若也如J33nB288_p0573c29斯,透頂透底見得的當,不妨向五蘊山中縱橫自在、J33nB288_p0573c30出沒逍遙,能使四時寒暑之外風光任運,截斷玄猷。J33nB288_p0574a01且道:正恁麼時如何展演?」良久,云:「意氣不從天地得,J33nB288_p0574a02英雄且借四時催。」
開示
J33nB288_p0574a04開示。師落堂云:「者段大事因緣,人人本自現成,個個J33nB288_p0574a05了無向背,但貴知見端的,不論先參後學、老幼賢愚,J33nB288_p0574a06唯要自肯承當,必無難易。還知承當個甚麼?切忌二J33nB288_p0574a07六時騎驢覓驢,頭上安頭。若是個漢,聞恁麼說話,即J33nB288_p0574a08便隨處逍遙、隨處作活,管教滿眼滿耳物物現成,動J33nB288_p0574a09用施為頭頭自在,山河大地、明暗色空、世界身心打J33nB288_p0574a10成一片,直使心行意絕,聲色兩忘,如麻繩入水,針劄J33nB288_p0574a11不透,步步不離,心心無間,管教時刻寸香了當無疑。J33nB288_p0574a12若不恁麼真參,云何得到歸家田地?假饒弄到臨末J33nB288_p0574a13稍頭,依舊一場懡㦬,莫怪山僧不道。」
J33nB288_p0574a14開示。師云:「人命無常呼吸間,大家著力奮精參,了明J33nB288_p0574a15生死玄關外,免被閆家老熱瞞。山僧恁麼告報,秪為J33nB288_p0574a16諸禪各懷特達向上之志,紹隆佛祖之心,豈可不為J33nB288_p0574a17保任此事?但要諸人痛切生死急務,自然二六時中J33nB288_p0574a18頭頭法法本分相應。若也參情親切,心心無間,步步J33nB288_p0574a19不離,管取三七日內如人飲水,冷煖自知。苟或伶俐J33nB288_p0574a20道人,纔聞一撥便轉,猶是落二落三了也。倘依俙彷J33nB288_p0574a21彿,還須咬定牙關,急著眼看,看到水窮山盡處,方知J33nB288_p0574a22格外有通衢。心隨萬境轉,轉處實能幽,隨流認得性,J33nB288_p0574a23無喜亦無憂。珍重。」
J33nB288_p0574a24開示。目顧左右云:「若向者裏會得,各請歸堂穩坐;苟J33nB288_p0574a25或未然,只可把定繩頭、咬定牙關、豎起脊梁,將生死J33nB288_p0574a26二字貼在額頭上,看定本參,不分星夜,毫釐勿使走J33nB288_p0574a27作,直下聖凡情見、是非人我一齊坐斷,不覺有世界J33nB288_p0574a28身心都盧是個疑團,管取到家決不遠矣。倘若隨群J33nB288_p0574a29作隊,三三兩兩雜話閒談,今日如此、明日如彼,更或J33nB288_p0574a30觸境逢源,無明煩惱、我慢貢高,自逞伶俐聰明,處處J33nB288_p0574b01是非滾滾、頭頭業識忙忙,恁麼學道,不唯不了己躬J33nB288_p0574b02大事,亦且辜負檀信脂膏、行人血汗,猶恐大限到來J33nB288_p0574b03依舊一場懡㦬。既然如是,合作麼生?努力今生須了J33nB288_p0574b04卻,莫教永劫受餘殃。」
