往予家居時嘗謁千巖禪師於烏傷伏龍山當是時J32nB273_p0203a03遐邇學子望風奔湊曾未幾何化荒墟為樓觀易寥J32nB273_p0203a04空為金碧鐘鼓之聲上徹霄漢嗚呼何其能也蓋禪J32nB273_p0203a05師之不能為能不用為用芳蘭生於深谷而馨香遠J32nB273_p0203a06蒼璧韞于玄璞而光輝外發禪師處於遐壤而人J32nB273_p0203a07競從之有道之士其果有異於庸常者歟且禪師在J32nB273_p0203a08其弟子嗣詔嘗錄其語鍥梓以傳予嘗獲觀之J32nB273_p0203a09敷宣大法如雲雷迭興而九龍噴雨也如大醫王制J32nB273_p0203a10隨證而愈疾也如摩醯三眼光明洞照而無不至J32nB273_p0203a11由是知禪師之道不實不虛不有不無不中不邊J32nB273_p0203a12在普應之門蓋亦鏗然有聲者也以能以用窺禪師J32nB273_p0203a13抑亦末矣禪師既入寂兵燹方張所謂語錄者J32nB273_p0203a14為煨燼經今十有餘年矣一庵鄰上人自幼侍禪師J32nB273_p0203a15與聞其道乃以舊本重刻不遠一千餘里來徵予序J32nB273_p0203a16予謂禪師之道見於言讀其言自可知其道又何以J32nB273_p0203a17序文為然稽之古德其語存于今者多名縉紳為題J32nB273_p0203a18不若是固不足以表正宗之所寄第予也非人J32nB273_p0203a19足為禪師之重輕以禪師與余交也因不辭而為之J32nB273_p0203a20雖然禪師之道不落有無中邊虛實者固不可以J32nB273_p0203a21語言文字求也欲求禪師之道其亦得魚兔而忘蹄J32nB273_p0203a22筌者乎禪師行業予嘗為撰塔上之銘茲不書上人J32nB273_p0203a23方閱三藏諸經連年不自休今又孜孜而為是圖J32nB273_p0203a24可謂不悖其師者也

示眾:「雲門大師道:『扇子𨁝跳上三十三天築著帝釋J32nB273_p0204a23鼻孔東海鯉魚打一棒雨似盆傾。』雲門秪解瞻前J32nB273_p0204a24能顧後。」遂以扇子擊禪床:「扇子𨁝跳入一十八重J32nB273_p0204a25地獄築著閻羅王鼻孔閻羅王惡發道:『你喫了現成J32nB273_p0204a26粥飯日夜鼓兩片皮妄談般若合喫我手中鐵棒。』J32nB273_p0204a27山僧一喝卻入扇子裏去也諸人還見麼若見拈取J32nB273_p0204a28扇子來不見炎炎暑天用箇甚麼?」

示眾良久:「大眾會麼會則事同一家不會則萬別J32nB273_p0204c09千差臨濟和尚道:『我在黃蘗處喫六十痛棒如蒿枝J32nB273_p0204c10拂相似如今思量一頓喫不知誰為下手?』時有僧出J32nB273_p0204c11:『某甲下手。』臨濟度杖與之僧擬接濟便打看它的J32nB273_p0204c12的顯示這些子無你諸人近傍處豈常情之所能測J32nB273_p0204c13老僧尋常痛罵罵你痛棒打你你不作無明會便作J32nB273_p0204c14佛法會又何曾夢見我先祖門風所以古人云:『臨濟J32nB273_p0204c15之道將墜于地痛哉痛哉!』正與麼時合作麼生超群J32nB273_p0204c16須是英靈漢敵勝還他師子兒。」

復云:「茲承天龍禪寺無用貴首座偕生首J32nB273_p0207a23座入山設齋俵襯持大道平長老香請曰:『今春蒙松J32nB273_p0207a24江蔡媽媽李氏淨心施財建新僧堂完備請和尚向J32nB273_p0207a25彼中開堂說法與淨心相見。』」師曰:「。」於是撾鼓陞堂J32nB273_p0207a26集眾而告之曰:「無明以十方世界作一箇僧堂行與J32nB273_p0207a27諸人同行坐與諸人仝坐乃至語默動靜折旋俯仰J32nB273_p0207a28未嘗與諸人有絲毫問隔所以雪峰云:『僧堂前與汝J32nB273_p0207a29相見了也。』汝若頂門具眼便見無明與淨心在僧堂J32nB273_p0207a30前相見汝若更道在天龍僧堂前相見在伏龍僧堂J32nB273_p0207b01前相見我也知你是箇瞎漢不惜眉毛。」復示一頌:「J32nB273_p0207b02世界無所著圓阤阤光爍爍大中大窄中窄李氏淨J32nB273_p0207b03心雖女流宛有丈夫之作略針鋒上拄須彌盧微塵J32nB273_p0207b04中現寶王剎天龍道用不盡添得伏龍背地哂赤肉J32nB273_p0207b05團上壁立千仞阿呵呵哩哩囉東家作牛西家作馬J32nB273_p0207b06衲僧鼻孔一時穿眼光爍破四天下。」復召大眾云:「J32nB273_p0207b07甚麼?」

因高麗自悟禪人請祖衣上堂捧衣云:「大眾零零落J32nB273_p0207b15落有些些覿面相呈見也麼不是春山雲片片分明J32nB273_p0207b16秋雨後蕉芭箇是高峰老師翁天目山頭一生受用J32nB273_p0207b17不盡底虎跑寶舟貴首座以我在杭州居山囑與奉J32nB273_p0207b18三十年矣今日伏龍山中二三百兄弟莫有擔J32nB273_p0207b19荷得底麼有則師子一滴乳無則且聽悟禪人請歸J32nB273_p0207b20高麗金剛山供養令合國人知待彌勒下生不妨兩J32nB273_p0207b21手分付所以道:『衣以表信可力爭耶?』阿難問迦葉云J32nB273_p0207b22師兄世尊傳金襴外別傳何物?』迦葉召阿難阿難應J32nB273_p0207b23迦葉云:『倒卻門前剎竿著。』我道迦葉要做阿難師J32nB273_p0207b24兄未得在何也待他道:『世尊傳金襴外別傳何物?』J32nB273_p0207b25召一聲待他開口劈脊便打不惟扶豎得祖上門風J32nB273_p0207b26亦且與天下衲子作個榜樣。」

示眾:「調達謗佛生身陷地獄佛令阿難傳旨:『汝在J32nB273_p0207b28獄中安否?』達云:『我雖在獄中如受四禪天樂。』又令阿J32nB273_p0207b29難問:『汝還求出否?』達云:『我待世尊來便出。』阿難云:『J32nB273_p0207b30尊是三界大師豈有入地獄分?』達云:『我豈有出地獄J32nB273_p0207c01?』」師云:「臨危不悚真大丈夫。」

曹居士請升座。「婺州信士曹仁卿同合宅貴眷就寺J32nB273_p0207c15設齋俵嚫請老僧升座說法老僧曰諾會麼盡大地J32nB273_p0207c16是箇老僧盡大地是箇法座更教老僧升甚麼座J32nB273_p0207c17甚麼法記得五六年前行橋時曾到宅叨齋受嚫J32nB273_p0207c18今日山中三四百眾喫齋受嚫人人歡歡喜喜只者J32nB273_p0207c19歡歡喜喜增仁卿多少福田長仁卿多少壽量適來J32nB273_p0207c20長老為仁卿向法座上舉揚老僧只喫齋受嚫便J32nB273_p0207c21不用為蛇畫足自然水到渠成豈不見五祖演和J32nB273_p0207c22尚云:『端坐受供養施主常安樂。』趙州云:『老僧在者裡J32nB273_p0207c23坐地更說什麼佛法?』無明有條攀條無條攀例忽有J32nB273_p0207c24箇漢出來道:『和尚你坐地分贓他日作箇什麼填還J32nB273_p0207c25施主去?』只向道:『不作牛兮定作驢。』因甚如此大丈夫J32nB273_p0207c26異類中行不是差事。」

示眾:「汝諸人只是不肯信自是佛所以向外馳求J32nB273_p0207c28無箇放身命處如今聽我說法時中禮佛看經坐禪J32nB273_p0207c29持戒作福便是向外馳求也何況貪名逐利淫聲愛J32nB273_p0207c30而不喚作向外馳求耶要得不向外馳求便請迴J32nB273_p0208a01光一照和自也無既無便無我無你無佛J32nB273_p0208a02眾生無禪無戒無罪無福無名利無聲色無生無死J32nB273_p0208a03空勞勞地無一物為障為礙然後隨緣應用任運過J32nB273_p0208a04天上人間無不自在臨濟云:『汝但歇得念念馳求J32nB273_p0208a05便與釋迦老子不別。』不是誑汝汝須信得及始是J32nB273_p0208a06祖師西來也只做得箇指路底人汝諸人只是行路J32nB273_p0208a07若要火急到家不勞動步若也茫茫這般走轉走J32nB273_p0208a08轉遠何故賺卻路頭不見道十方薄伽梵一路涅槃J32nB273_p0208a09且道路頭在什麼處?」以柱杖劃一劃:「在這裡多J32nB273_p0208a10少直截?」

因蔣居士施缽盂上堂僧問:「大庾嶺頭一箇缽盂J32nB273_p0208a12上座為甚提不起?」師云:「用力太多。」進云:「今日蔣居士J32nB273_p0208a13施缽盂五百付為甚人人提將去?」師云:「不費纖毫力。」J32nB273_p0208a14進云:「用力底是不用力底是?」師云:「分身兩處看。」僧擬J32nB273_p0208a15再進語師云:「問話且止況此事不在語言文字上J32nB273_p0208a16謂也盡十方世界是箇缽盂三世諸佛在裏許轉大J32nB273_p0208a17法輪歷代祖師天下老和尚乃至一切有情無情總J32nB273_p0208a18在裏許頭出頭沒汝等禪和家還跳得出麼若跳得J32nB273_p0208a19須彌南畔把手同行若跳不出長連床上喫粥喫J32nB273_p0208a20茲承常州直心居士同令弟月堂居士委宏都寺J32nB273_p0208a21送缽盂五百副齋米五十石及嚫資種種供養登山J32nB273_p0208a22俵散眾請升於此座舉唱宗乘以荅居士大心且居士大心作如何荅宗乘又J32nB273_p0208a23如何舉唱若舉麻三斤乾屎橛鋸解秤鎚之類雖是本分家風於諸人分上了無交涉J32nB273_p0208a24免舉一兩則古話也要諸人咬嚼僧問楊岐:『天得一J32nB273_p0208a25地得一寧衲僧得一堪作什麼?』岐云:『缽盂口向天。』J32nB273_p0208a26有問無明只向道:『披毛戴角。』又僧問洞山:『時時勤拂J32nB273_p0208a27勿使惹塵埃為甚不得衣缽?』山云:『直饒道本來無J32nB273_p0208a28一物也不合得他衣缽。』雪竇云:『他既不受是眼將來J32nB273_p0208a29底必應是瞎。』還見祖師衣缽麼若於此入門便乃兩J32nB273_p0208a30手分付非唯大庾嶺頭一人提不起設使合國人來J32nB273_p0208b01且緩緩將去。」師云:「洞山太尊貴生雪竇太慳吝生J32nB273_p0208b02明這裏則不然將來底是眼不受底是瞎禪和家箇J32nB273_p0208b03箇腕頭有力不怕提不起不怕將不去何處更覓祖J32nB273_p0208b04即今兩手分付大眾無明與麼批判且道與古人J32nB273_p0208b05相去多少還有證明者麼若證明得居士功不浪施J32nB273_p0208b06若證明不得無明不惜眉毛復成一頌。」以拂子打圓J32nB273_p0208b07相云:「大眾見麼大地渾侖黑漆缽吞吐虛空口門闊J32nB273_p0208b08白飯山堆疊疊來死人吃了都教活畢竟此功歸阿J32nB273_p0208b09常州在家蔣菩薩老僧也只得一分大家有眼何J32nB273_p0208b10曾瞎分付囊藏又展開千古萬古阿剌剌。」

示眾舉祖師云:「父母非我親誰是最親者諸佛非我J32nB273_p0208b12誰是最道者雲蓋本云:『父母非我親無有不親者J32nB273_p0208b13諸佛非我道無有不道者。』祖師得第一句雲蓋得第J32nB273_p0208b14二句有人添得一句許伊鼎分三足無明則不然J32nB273_p0208b15母非我親我亦非親者諸佛非我道道亦非我者J32nB273_p0208b16師也不得第一句雲蓋也不得第二句無明碎身如J32nB273_p0208b17微塵何止頭破作七分?」

謝首座上堂:「五祖演和尚云:『槌碎蟠桃核得見其J32nB273_p0208c03捋斷驪龍鬚得遇其寶。』雖然如是未是好手爭如J32nB273_p0208c04我伏龍山中天章首座也不槌碎蟠桃核頭頭應用J32nB273_p0208c05皆仁也不捋斷驪龍鬚處處全彰其寶呼釋迦彌勒J32nB273_p0208c06為灶下之奴拈丈六金身作一莖之艸吹毛一拂J32nB273_p0208c07濺梵天珊瑚樹林紅日杲杲雖然如是也只得一半。」J32nB273_p0208c08下座

東陽陳君采至示眾:「白雲端因郭功父到:『夜來J32nB273_p0208c16作得箇山偈說向大眾請舉似諸方非唯謝功父大J32nB273_p0208c17且要天下有鼻孔衲僧脫卻貼肉汗衫。』乃云:『上大J32nB273_p0208c18丘乙化三千七十士尒小生八九子佳作仁J32nB273_p0208c19知禮也。』」師云:「白雲固是作家爐鞴功父亦是煆了精J32nB273_p0208c20檢點將來也好與三十棒何故一箇不合將常住J32nB273_p0208c21物作私人情一箇攻乎異端斯害也要脫他天J32nB273_p0208c22下衲僧貼肉汗衫倒添了百二十斤黃金鎖甲如何J32nB273_p0208c23有箇洒洒落落時節無明茅庵之下君采大儒訪及J32nB273_p0208c24我也不統夜思量作箇山偈我也不擊鼓敘謝廣演J32nB273_p0208c25條章只有一味杜田禪自然兩眼對兩眼如何是杜J32nB273_p0208c26田禪?」喝一喝:「朕聞上古其風朴略。」

一日新到三人J32nB273_p0208c27來參師云:「三人同行必有一智智不到處道將一句J32nB273_p0208c28。」僧無語師云:「智不在言第二箇如何?」又無語師云J32nB273_p0208c29第三箇漆桶道看。」又無語師云:「卻是老僧罪過且坐J32nB273_p0208c30喫茶。」

僧問:「世尊拈花迦葉微笑達磨面壁二祖安心祖祖J32nB273_p0212b28傳來者一句師今端的付何人?」師云:「未到你在。」進云J32nB273_p0212b29師子窟中師子旃檀林裏旃檀為甚未到學人?」師云J32nB273_p0212b30一絲頭上三千界。」進云:「不是心不是佛不是物是箇J32nB273_p0212c01甚麼?」師云:「你道是箇甚麼?」進云:「未審向上還有事也J32nB273_p0212c02?」師云:「。」進云:「如何是向上事?」師云:「不是心不是佛J32nB273_p0212c03不是物。」僧禮拜師乃舉起拂子:「一句中具三玄J32nB273_p0212c04玄中具三要所以道:『第一句中薦得堪與佛祖為師。』J32nB273_p0212c05只這一句子流出百千萬億句句中具不可說不可J32nB273_p0212c06說妙義覓一絲毫妙義了不可得百千萬億句收入J32nB273_p0212c07這一句句中顯不可說不可說形相覓一絲毫形相J32nB273_p0212c08亦不可得壁如虛空具含眾像於諸境界無所分別J32nB273_p0212c09又如虛空入諸國土於諸國土而無所入。」復舉拂子J32nB273_p0212c10召大眾:「見麼不是心不是佛不是物是箇甚麼?」J32nB273_p0212c11一喝:「大眾聞麼不是心不是佛不是物是箇甚麼J32nB273_p0212c12只此見聞非見聞無餘聲色可呈君是中若了俱無J32nB273_p0212c13體用何妨分不分若分色見聲求是行邪道若不J32nB273_p0212c14顢頇佛性儱侗真如到這裏須是出格過量底人J32nB273_p0212c15始得還委悉麼直透萬里關不住青霄內。」謝辭不錄
