沙縣陳秉初居士請上堂。「萬水千山特地來為緣聽J27nB199_p0537c13法請登臺山僧指示無他語長夏山中正熟梅J27nB199_p0537c14甘贄行者入南泉設齋仍請南泉禪師念誦泉乃J27nB199_p0537c15白椎云:『請大眾為狸奴白牯念摩訶般若波羅密。』J27nB199_p0537c16行者拂袖便出南泉齋後問典座:『行者在甚麼處?』J27nB199_p0537c17座云:『當時便去也。』南泉便打破鍋子。」拈云:「甘贄入J27nB199_p0537c18寺設齋砒霜甜似蜜南泉打破鍋子毒手利如錐J27nB199_p0537c19簡點將來父子失情匆匆放過今日陳居士若請J27nB199_p0537c20山僧念誦秪向他道:『住持事繁。』免得打破鍋子傷J27nB199_p0537c21了客情山僧與麼道且道與古人是同是別?」良久J27nB199_p0537c22:「曹溪波浪如相似無限平人被陸沉。」

四月八日上堂。「教中道:『未離兜率降皇宮未出母J27nB199_p0537c24度人。』與麼說話大似一床錦被蓋孩兒J27nB199_p0537c25掩得好諸道友若向父母未生前覷得破便見盡J27nB199_p0537c26大地是釋迦老子面孔盡大地亦是諸人自J27nB199_p0537c27諸人自面孔與釋迦老子面孔更無差別J27nB199_p0538a01此不會卻勞他從頭離兜率降皇宮出母胎度幻J27nB199_p0538a02真個是納一場敗闕所以初生下來便乃指天J27nB199_p0538a03指地獨自稱尊二千年外卻被一個跛腳阿師J27nB199_p0538a04一棒打殺與狗子喫貴圖天下太平諸兄弟雲門J27nB199_p0538a05一棒剛要打殺釋迦老子山僧今日一棒恰要打J27nB199_p0538a06殺雲門秪如山僧替釋迦老子出氣諸兄弟還有J27nB199_p0538a07替跛腳阿師雪屈者麼?」眾默然師笑曰:「不是山僧J27nB199_p0538a08逞人我果然難得十成人。」

上堂:「玄沙大師問鏡清云:『古人道不見一法是大J27nB199_p0538a24過患」,你且道不見甚麼法?』清指露柱云:『莫是者個J27nB199_p0538a25法麼?』沙云:『浙中清水白米從你喫佛法未夢見在。』」J27nB199_p0538a26師拈云:「此一則公案不識者將謂玄沙不肯鏡清J27nB199_p0538a27殊不知兩尊宿旗鼓相當塤箎迭奏可稱難兄難J27nB199_p0538b01弟矣所以天童老人道:『鏡清久不作佛法夢也。』J27nB199_p0538b02:『須是玄沙同參始得。』天童可謂善知無舌語J27nB199_p0538b03聽沒絃琴真個是二老賞音者也若作勝負商量J27nB199_p0538b04此人未夢見佛法在近來法門淡薄兄弟家相見J27nB199_p0538b05惟敘寒溫情面款待佛法二字絕口不談看他古J27nB199_p0538b06人一唱一酬之間如函合蓋似箭投鋒足為千古J27nB199_p0538b07眼目今日是五慈禪友從浙中來以久參先博山J27nB199_p0538b08之故特來掃塔設齋供眾仍請山僧上堂激揚斯J27nB199_p0538b09可見世雖末法人尚古風不媿為法門昆仲矣J27nB199_p0538b10然正眼觀來不是好心何故你在浙中喫了清水J27nB199_p0538b11白米卻來累及山僧償他口債且道口債作麼生J27nB199_p0538b12?」擲下拂子云:「除是維摩老知吾施受心。」

報薦先相國方水大居士上堂:「心眼本開無奈空花J27nB199_p0538b14自翳性天廓朗只因迷霧長昏佛說世智辯聰是J27nB199_p0538b15八難中之一以學解多知遂成理障故翻不轉文J27nB199_p0538b16字窠臼打不破生死牢關當其迷時文字語言總J27nB199_p0538b17是障道根本及其悟也語言文字原是解脫正因J27nB199_p0538b18妙在反手覆手耳昔李渤史問歸宗常禪師云J27nB199_p0538b19須彌納芥子某即不疑芥子納須彌莫是妄譚否?』J27nB199_p0538b20宗云:『人人傳使君讀萬卷書籍是否?』李云:『。』宗云J27nB199_p0538b21摩頂至踵如椰子大者萬卷書向何處著?』李復問J27nB199_p0538b22一大藏教明甚麼邊事?』宗舉拳示之云:『會麼?』李云J27nB199_p0538b23不會。』宗云:『者措大拳頭也不識。』李云:『請師指示。』J27nB199_p0538b24:『會則途中受用不會則世諦流布。』」師拈云:「萬卷J27nB199_p0538b25何處著伸腳處便縮腳掀翻窠臼絕狐疑真個J27nB199_p0538b26拳頭好作略不在途中不在家世諦流布亦不惡。」J27nB199_p0538b27下座

上堂:「據理而論世法中埋沒多少人佛法中醒卻多J27nB199_p0538c02少人爭柰古德道:『佛法中迷卻多少人世法中悟J27nB199_p0538c03卻多少人?』古德此語未易搆他語脈何也佛法固J27nB199_p0538c04是難通紅塵撲地能有幾個輥出頭來若往昔未J27nB199_p0538c05熏般若直須正念全提如猛將戰出重圍方可解J27nB199_p0538c06戈卸甲到此則太平世界任謳歌堯舜之風清白J27nB199_p0538c07門庭爭接起夔龍之武不礙逢場作戲何妨借路J27nB199_p0538c08還鄉秪要踏得穩靠得實然後擴為利濟廣被無J27nB199_p0538c09將世法喚作佛法將佛法喚作世法有何不可J27nB199_p0538c10雖然如是秪恐不是玉是玉也太奇。」

舟中放燈小參:「性水澄清元無漂沒妄波鼓動遂有J27nB199_p0538c12昇沉既迷出世津梁不睹光明寶藏千波競湧J27nB199_p0538c13然照水之犀一口吸乾孰是倒瀾之手溺而不溺J27nB199_p0538c14直須跳出者層波生而不生轉取騰霄那一步J27nB199_p0538c15如白浪滔天還有不被顛溺者麼?」良久云:「移舟不J27nB199_p0538c16別水舉棹即迷源。」
