辛亥年三月十五日師於楚雄府福城寺接湖廣衡J37nB400_p0761c05州府開峰山南雲禪院密行老和尚書并法拂真儀J37nB400_p0761c06合楚宰官居士設齋請師開堂師至密老和尚像前J37nB400_p0761c07拈香打○相作女人拜曰:「謝師遠來無可秪待。」插香J37nB400_p0761c08:「只此一鑪莫怪空疏。」遂至法座前以拄杖指云:「J37nB400_p0761c09彩未彰消息已露今日文彩既彰且道是箇甚麼J37nB400_p0761c10彌燈玉第一座。」遂陞拈香云此一瓣香奉祝J37nB400_p0761c11當今皇帝聖壽萬歲復拈香曰:「此一瓣奉祝 前鎮J37nB400_p0761c12鎮臺馬公本府仁政馮公許公本縣潘公三營副將J37nB400_p0761c13并闔郡紳衿居士恒為佛氏金湯大作J37nB400_p0761c14朝廷玉柱。」又拈香曰:「此香多年嚙碎生鐵核一旦收J37nB400_p0761c15歸臺山側非是今朝難忍俊且要應時與及節。」插香J37nB400_p0761c16:「耑伸供養現住湖廣衡州府開峰堂上傳臨濟正J37nB400_p0761c17宗第三十二世上密下行老和尚用酬法乳之恩。」J37nB400_p0761c18那白椎云:「法筵龍象眾當觀第一義。」師顧左右喝一J37nB400_p0761c19喝曰:「大眾好時節還相委悉麼若也相委悉福城令J37nB400_p0761c20不虛行其或未然有疑出問。」僧問:「如何是第一義?」J37nB400_p0761c21豎拂子:「刺破你眼睛。」進云:「如何是臨濟機?」師曰:「J37nB400_p0761c22頭六臂。」進云:「如何是臨濟用?」師曰:「有棒不打你。」進云J37nB400_p0761c23多謝和尚慈悲。」師曰:「切忌相辜負。」:「今日福城寺裏J37nB400_p0761c24人天普集和尚據法王座作師子吼捧轂推輪即不J37nB400_p0761c25謝卻華冠事若何?」師曰:「匝地風光。」進云:「和尚久闡J37nB400_p0761c26水目宗風為甚今日別行一路?」師曰:「春風三月裏J37nB400_p0761c27意便遷喬。」進云:「與麼則一步闊一步一著高一著。」J37nB400_p0761c28:「乘時非有意出谷也無心。」進云:「只如的的為人一J37nB400_p0761c29句又作麼生?」師拈棒便打僧禮拜師又打乃曰:「我本J37nB400_p0761c30無心有所希求今此法王大寶自然而至大眾還知J37nB400_p0762a01法王大寶麼?」豎起拂子:「只者拂子且道是開峰底J37nB400_p0762a02還是福城底若道是開峰底卻在福城手裏若道是J37nB400_p0762a03福城底又是開峰付來喚作開峰底固是瞎喚作福J37nB400_p0762a04城底亦是瞎畢竟如何?」拂一拂:「拈頭作尾尋常事J37nB400_p0762a05不是其人也大難。」即放下拂子:「興化和尚上堂曰J37nB400_p0762a06祖師心印狀似銕牛之機去則印住住則印破只如J37nB400_p0762a07不去不住印即是不印即是?』」師曰:「興化老人只知貪J37nB400_p0762a08不顧旁觀者哂。」驀豎拂子:「今日福城為爾諸人J37nB400_p0762a09指出者印子如獅子王吒沙底壁立千仞且諸人恭J37nB400_p0762a10臨法座山僧不敢藏拙未免依直共通山僧於三十J37nB400_p0762a11六歲上破家散宅參水目得戒住老和尚承其印可J37nB400_p0762a12勉於出世為人山僧自愧福薄屢堅卻之病思自養J37nB400_p0762a13入九臺煨折腳鐺以待殘喘而素志歲久月深幸自J37nB400_p0762a14可憐生適承閒峰老和尚不忘舊債兩番婆心遠命J37nB400_p0762a15隱馨上座齎來法物其囑累之重不啻黃檗之禪板J37nB400_p0762a16几案也然正恁麼時頓令不肖於水目昔日退委之J37nB400_p0762a17相隔千里於開峰三千里外絕淆訛大眾此恩難報J37nB400_p0762a18所以今日就此福城東際大塔廟中炷一爐香以報J37nB400_p0762a19法乳。」驀召大眾:「且道與他臨濟大師喚侍者將火J37nB400_p0762a20來是同是別?」良久:「珊瑚枕上兩行淚半是思君半J37nB400_p0762a21恨君。」喝一喝便起

九臺山大方廣寺上堂拈香祝聖後拈香曰:「此香消J37nB400_p0762a23殞虛空裂破三際用處風流藏處穩密爇向罏中J37nB400_p0762a24番供養湖廣衡州開峰堂上傳臨濟正宗第三十二J37nB400_p0762a25世本師密老和尚用酬法乳。」上首白椎曰:「法筵龍象J37nB400_p0762a26當觀第一義。」師曰:「當觀第一義晴空杲日難迴避J37nB400_p0762a27不觀則背義忘恩觀之則無事生事且道畢竟如何J37nB400_p0762a28鷂子過新羅擘箭追不及。」僧問:「昔日靈山正令今朝J37nB400_p0762a29臺嶺重提……」聲未絕師便喝僧禮拜曰:「兵隨印轉將逐J37nB400_p0762a30符行師今領眾陞堂符印在甚麼處?」師打曰:「一棒一J37nB400_p0762b01條痕。」進云:「南雲老人賜師箇甚麼?」師又打曰:「不知痛J37nB400_p0762b02癢漢。」進云:「者是南雲老人的和尚分上又作麼生?」J37nB400_p0762b03連打兩棒乃拈拂子豎起曰:「只者箇觸不得背不得J37nB400_p0762b04衲僧用處光明烜赫揮也三千世界隨手轉擲也百J37nB400_p0762b05億須彌直下裂有時喚作達磨眼睛有時喚作釋迦J37nB400_p0762b06命脈亙古亙今不拘格則雖然如是要須大悟一回J37nB400_p0762b07始得今日眾中莫有大悟的麼試出吐露看。」一僧出J37nB400_p0762b08禮拜師曰:「點即不到。」僧擬喝師打退復舉:「世尊於靈J37nB400_p0762b09山會上拈花示眾眾皆罔措唯有飲光尊者破顏微J37nB400_p0762b10搔著世尊癢處世尊忍俊不禁便道:『吾有正法眼J37nB400_p0762b11涅槃妙心實相無相微妙法門付囑與汝勿令斷J37nB400_p0762b12。』此是靈山一會萬古徽猷據山僧看來飲光尊者J37nB400_p0762b13雖則一期俊快要且只得一橛世尊不惜滿盤托出J37nB400_p0762b14也則猶欠一半大眾山僧恁麼告報莫是磨稜合縫J37nB400_p0762b15抑古揚今麼且喜沒交涉既不如是且道意在於何J37nB400_p0762b16久參耆德自解知時後學初機難免一笑雖然笑則J37nB400_p0762b17笑矣你道與他飲光尊者當時發笑是同是別?」驀豎J37nB400_p0762b18拂子:「縱使豁然親見得辜他先聖喪兒孫。」擲拂子J37nB400_p0762b19結椎下座

上堂眾僧出問師一一答了噓一噓:「你等這些問J37nB400_p0762b21都是長連床上方冊子裏學來的何不將斬新日J37nB400_p0762b22月呈似山僧?」眾無對師乃云:「昨日十五放過一著J37nB400_p0762b23朝十六添了一著六六依然成四九且喜將錯還就J37nB400_p0762b24德山棒臨濟喝照用同時人境俱奪饒你伶俐難J37nB400_p0762b25摸索山僧者裏不行棒不用喝日用尋常如虎戴角J37nB400_p0762b26窗推明月上千峰簾捲白雲低萬壑處處囊鎚和穎J37nB400_p0762b27。」驀顧左右:「還有真實解會者麼會則事同一家J37nB400_p0762b28不會則千差萬駁。」以拂子擊香几一下

誕晨楚雄前鎮眾宰官居士供法被到山瑞亭姚檀J37nB400_p0762b30越設齋請上堂師指法帳曰:「神光不昧萬古徽猷J37nB400_p0762c01此門來莫存知解只者箇幔天網子團團瑞彩交絡J37nB400_p0762c02簇簇錦繡鋪成優曇艷麗金紫騰輝作大師子吼J37nB400_p0762c03大眾還會麼還聞麼霹靂聲中晴空掣電殺人刀J37nB400_p0762c04活人劍把定要津聊通一線盞子撲落地碟子成七J37nB400_p0762c05還有同生同死底衲僧麼試出道看。」僧出禮拜曰J37nB400_p0762c06某甲道得。」師曰:「獰龍不吞餌蝦蟆沖浪過。」進曰:「覿面J37nB400_p0762c07相呈有何回互?」師便打進云:「何不答話?」師曰:「罪不重J37nB400_p0762c08。」又僧問曰:「如何是金毛師子吼?」師曰:「山僧今日不J37nB400_p0762c09答話。」乃曰:「山僧母難今承眾宰官居士供此法帳J37nB400_p0762c10為莊嚴道場要推山僧上曲彔床露箇真實消J37nB400_p0762c11若是真實消息眾居士未曾舉意造帳來山已前J37nB400_p0762c12早露了也不見文殊對維摩居士道:『於一切法無言J37nB400_p0762c13無說無示無識離諸問答是為菩薩不二法門我等J37nB400_p0762c14各自說矣仁者當說何等是菩薩不二法門?』維摩默J37nB400_p0762c15山僧今日只得因齋慶贊去也。」豎起拂子:「只者J37nB400_p0762c16母難之晨凡聖同源生佛無別山僧與諸佛菩薩J37nB400_p0762c17代祖師法界有情共一胞胎同一化育總不出今日J37nB400_p0762c18且道今日事畢竟作麼生?」良久:「霜風吹大野法身J37nB400_p0762c19赤骨𩪸。」喝一喝下座

上堂驀拈拄杖:「只者箇歷代祖師重重指示天下J37nB400_p0762c21宗師處處提持秪要人人識取者箇若識者箇四海J37nB400_p0762c22同風能殺能活且道者箇是什麼?」卓拄杖一下:「J37nB400_p0762c23裏會得庶不辜負從上宗師亦不埋沒自還委悉J37nB400_p0762c24若也不委明日再為諸人說破。」便下座

謝開山檀越瑞亭姚居士請上堂。「德山棒臨濟喝J37nB400_p0762c26門落白帝釋草長者標如蟲禦木雖然只如一塵纔J37nB400_p0762c27大地全收纖毫不露白雲萬里汝等諸人且作麼J37nB400_p0762c28生會?」良久:「相逢相遇無餘事攜手同歸不二門。」

上堂。「夾山道:『目前無法意在目前不是目前法非耳J37nB400_p0762c30日之所到。』顏子道:『仰之彌高鑽之彌堅瞻之在前J37nB400_p0763a01焉在後。』大眾看他二大老雖則出處不同頭腦卻也J37nB400_p0763a02相似不謂理無差殊古今一致雖然如是要須入細J37nB400_p0763a03辯精始得穩當所以道:『一字透根源萬法無彼此。』J37nB400_p0763a04道是那一字聽取一偈清水裏下白米寒山拾得笑J37nB400_p0763a05上大人丘乙三千七十可知禮。」拈拄杖卓一J37nB400_p0763a06:「一椎擊破上頭關問水尋山事畢矣。」驀召大眾J37nB400_p0763a07:「還知麼更為你作箇切腳。」肩拄杖下座

上堂拈拄杖云:「山僧作佛祖兒孫為佛祖燒香傳持J37nB400_p0763a09佛祖正令且道如何是正令行的句?」卓一卓云:「有何J37nB400_p0763a10佛祖?」靠拄杖下座

上堂。「盤山道:『向上一路千聖不傳。』慈明道:『向上一路J37nB400_p0763a12千聖不然。』妙喜道:『不傳不然海口難宣須彌頂上J37nB400_p0763a13起鐵船。』」師曰:「三大老推輪捧轂只知步步登高不解J37nB400_p0763a14從空放下只如諸人上來下去尋常作麼生駕馭J37nB400_p0763a15英能逸格良驥不加鞭。」

丙寅年正月初九日住威楚之廣通縣仙羊禪院結J37nB400_p0763a17邑侯胡公率眾設齋請上堂師指法座云:「須彌燈J37nB400_p0763a18王座曹溪古路頭瞎驢滅正眼黃河水倒流要陞便J37nB400_p0763a19萬古徽猷。」斂衣就座拈香云:「此一瓣香清齊日月J37nB400_p0763a20德被萬機爇向爐中顓祝當今J37nB400_p0763a21皇帝聖躬萬歲萬萬歲伏願皇圖鞏固帝道遐昌J37nB400_p0763a22扇堯舜之風洪承禹湯之德次一瓣香奉祝本縣仁J37nB400_p0763a23政胡公洎護法宰官祿位高增并祝世守兩衙紳衿J37nB400_p0763a24善信高躋壽域永證菩提此三瓣香與虛空同大J37nB400_p0763a25日月同明與天之同高與地之同厚與海之同深J37nB400_p0763a26山之同峻爇向爐中上供衡州府開峰山傳臨濟正J37nB400_p0763a27宗第三十二世本師上密下行大和尚用酬法乳之J37nB400_p0763a28。」上首白椎云:「法筵龍象眾當觀第一義。」師云:「如此J37nB400_p0763a29白椎遲八刻殊不知山僧未出方丈大眾未出禪J37nB400_p0763a30為諸人舉揚第一義了也恁麼時觀猶較些J37nB400_p0763b01若向椎下分疏劍去久矣還有沖霄底俊鶻麼J37nB400_p0763b02出與山僧拄杖子相見。」時有一僧出師云:「栖蘆之鳩J37nB400_p0763b03何堪拄杖?」僧無語師乃云:「一句明明該萬象元正啟J37nB400_p0763b04祚物咸新柱杖拂子風流處一回相見一回親如或J37nB400_p0763b05未然山僧更為指示去也。」舉拄杖:「大眾還見麼?」J37nB400_p0763b06卓一下:「還聞麼若也歷歷的聞明明的見仙羊之J37nB400_p0763b07令不虛施此見是文殊入理之門此聞是觀音圓通J37nB400_p0763b08之旨過去諸如來斯門成就現在諸菩薩今各入J37nB400_p0763b09圓明未來修學人當依如是法恁麼瞥去如虎靠山J37nB400_p0763b10似龍得水在此選佛堂中三條椽下七尺單前四楞J37nB400_p0763b11蹋地穩坐安禪設有見之如盲聞之若聾者未免燈J37nB400_p0763b12籠失笑露柱愁眉仙羊拄杖未肯放過在。」卓拄杖J37nB400_p0763b13

住淨樂禪院結制上堂拈香:「此一瓣香含褁十虛J37nB400_p0763b15包括兩儀爇向爐中專為祝延今上J37nB400_p0763b16皇帝聖躬萬歲萬萬歲伏願皇圖永堯舜之風帝道J37nB400_p0763b17與日月齊明次一瓣香智兼文武儒釋皆宗炷向爐J37nB400_p0763b18恭祝駐鎮滇南將軍撫臺二位大護法祿位千春J37nB400_p0763b19邊疆永鎮侯封萬里佛氏金湯次一瓣香寂滅場中J37nB400_p0763b20結就鬧市街頭拾來炷在爐中上供湖廣開峰山傳J37nB400_p0763b21臨濟正宗第三十二世本師上密下行大和尚用酬J37nB400_p0763b22法乳之恩次分上供四川城都府昭覺堂上丈下雪J37nB400_p0763b23大和尚又一分上供水目戒堂上無下住大和尚。」J37nB400_p0763b24那白椎:「法筵龍象眾當觀第一義。」師曰:「一椎打就J37nB400_p0763b25不觀則背義忘恩觀則無事生事眾中還有知恩報J37nB400_p0763b26不犯清波的衲僧試出道看。」眾無語師曰:「眾既不J37nB400_p0763b27山僧自道去也。」豎拂子:「天高群象正海闊百川J37nB400_p0763b28。」乃云:「世尊昔日為一大事因緣出現於世山僧到J37nB400_p0763b29此靜樂菴中結制亦不為別事亦是為此一大事因J37nB400_p0763b30且道喚甚麼作大事因緣?」卓拄杖三下:「過去諸J37nB400_p0763c01如來斯門成就現在諸菩薩今各入圓明未來修J37nB400_p0763c02學人當依如是法古人恁麼道我即不然但云家貧J37nB400_p0763c03難辦蔬食忙中不及草書還當得麼須知從來共住J37nB400_p0763c04不知名任運相將只麼行自古上賢由不識造次凡J37nB400_p0763c05夫豈可明若肯恁麼管取此大事因緣於此五十三J37nB400_p0763c06日必然相應穩坐去也若還疑情未瞥更有一段方J37nB400_p0763c07便舉似汝等驀直去西天國王問波羅提尊者曰:『J37nB400_p0763c08欲作佛不知何者是佛?』者曰:『見性是佛。』王曰:『師見性J37nB400_p0763c09?』者曰:『我見佛性。』王曰:『性在甚麼處?』者曰:『性在作用。』J37nB400_p0763c10王曰:『是何作用我何不見?』者曰:『現今作用王自不見。』J37nB400_p0763c11王曰:『於我有否?』者曰:『王若作用無有不是王不作用J37nB400_p0763c12體亦難見。』王曰:『若作用時幾處出現?』者曰:『若出現時J37nB400_p0763c13當有其八。』王曰:『八處佛性師當示我。』者曰:『在胎曰神J37nB400_p0763c14處世名人在眼曰見在耳曰聞在鼻臭香在舌談論J37nB400_p0763c15在手執捉在足運奔識者知是佛性不識者喚作精J37nB400_p0763c16遍現俱該沙界收攝在一微塵。』王即開悟得大自J37nB400_p0763c17妙喜曰:『且道王所悟得的是佛性耶是精魂耶J37nB400_p0763c18於八處悟得只是精魂若離八處佛性在甚處恁麼J37nB400_p0763c19薦得佛恩皇恩一時報足若不薦育王為諸大眾下J37nB400_p0763c20註腳去也鸑鷟麒麟俱是瑞旃檀薝蔔一般香。』今日J37nB400_p0763c21若有人問山僧玉悟得的是佛性耶是精魂耶若於J37nB400_p0763c22八處悟得只是精魂若離八處佛性在甚處若薦得J37nB400_p0763c23佛恩皇恩一時報足若薦不得山僧亦為諸人下註J37nB400_p0763c24腳去也。」舉起拂子:「靜樂庭前柏樹子合掌常年向J37nB400_p0763c25上方底頭纔擬議鴻雁過瀟湘。」結椎下座

山僧今日也不要你諸人向上向下宗乘教乘諸子J37nB400_p0763c28百家風謠俗諺只要諸人識取自心且那箇是諸人J37nB400_p0763c29之心你諸人者具根身則為眼器界則J37nB400_p0763c30為色盡虛空遍法界上而諸佛下如螻J37nB400_p0764a01無不具此種種亙古亙今無變壞相謂之常住法J37nB400_p0764a02既謂之常住法界則你諸人行住坐臥飲食男女J37nB400_p0764a03無不皆在其中既皆在其中則折旋俯仰出作入息J37nB400_p0764a04成辦庶務參究諸人之心要且不可昧若也一時昧J37nB400_p0764a05則成佛成仙三界六道不得自由若也不昧則成J37nB400_p0764a06佛成仙三界六道如龍得水似虎靠山所謂是法住J37nB400_p0764a07法位世間相常住也。」拈拄杖卓一卓:「且道者箇還J37nB400_p0764a08是常住法不是常住法逢人切莫錯舉。」

佛誕小參:「世尊初生周行七步目顧四方一手指J37nB400_p0764a10一手指地:『天上天下唯吾獨尊。』」師召大眾:「J37nB400_p0764a11人還知悉達太子底落處麼後雲門大師道:『我當時J37nB400_p0764a12若見一棒打殺與狗子喫貴圖天下太平。』還知雲J37nB400_p0764a13門大師底落處麼若也知他落處更須買草鞋行腳J37nB400_p0764a14始得聽山僧為你頌出纔出母胎便逞豪手忙腳亂J37nB400_p0764a15惡風高知恩豈特雲門老花發陽春海自潮。」擲拂子J37nB400_p0764a16下座

小參:「有物先天地無形本寂寥能為萬象主不逐J37nB400_p0764a18四時凋。」豎拂子:「大眾會麼拂子𨁝跳上三十三天J37nB400_p0764a19觸著阿耨達池龍王底鼻孔山前上地揚聲大叫云J37nB400_p0764a20阿剌阿剌!』山僧任麼告報曹源一滴水偏地優曇華。」

小參。「迦葉一笑傳心神光三拜得髓。」拈拄杖卓一下J37nB400_p0764a22:「只此一著了無多子久參上智便合乘時顧盻躊J37nB400_p0764a23劍去久矣更說甚礦中之金麥中之麵一場自賺J37nB400_p0764a24諸兄弟知也無若不知盡情放下直須絕後再甦J37nB400_p0764a25待一事無成兩鬢疏方袍圓頂胡為乎?」噓一噓靠拄J37nB400_p0764a26杖便起

康熙九年三月於水目大寺中為眾授戒陞座揮尺J37nB400_p0764a28:「古今一道露堂堂三際空圓大道場棒喝施呈閑J37nB400_p0764a29器具豁開頂眼絕商量。」乃曰:「水目佳山是出佛產祖J37nB400_p0764a30之地吾滇名山也聲傳六詔燈續五天人傑地靈J37nB400_p0764b01靈人傑昔之淨妙皎淵阿標普濟諸大老曾於此處J37nB400_p0764b02此剎此座之上大闡玄風揮弘祖道若論道之一字J37nB400_p0764b03彼諸大老亦不曾前山僧今日亦不曾後大眾還會J37nB400_p0764b04此道麼此道本無言說處物即真不離日用尋常J37nB400_p0764b05則蓋天蓋地無古無今運水搬柴盡是神通妙用J37nB400_p0764b06會則禮佛看經都成業識茫茫無本可據今日諸人J37nB400_p0764b07既於山僧處求受心地戒法須知即心是戒即戒是J37nB400_p0764b08心戒無二萬善從生。」擊桌一下云:「過去諸如來J37nB400_p0764b09成就現在諸菩薩今各入圓明未來修學人J37nB400_p0764b10依如是法。」便拈香說戒
