J37nB395_p0716a04「金不博金,水不洗水,啐啄同時,劍去久矣。且道是甚J37nB395_p0716a05麼人發明向上事?」問答不錄。乃曰:「斤斧在手,遇水安J37nB395_p0716a06橋;竿木隨身,逢場作戲。通方作者,理合如斯。至若兄J37nB395_p0716a07呼弟應,各擅家聲;虎嘯龍吟,互相酬酢。或乘踞地獅J37nB395_p0716a08子,哮吼巖巒;或跨回顧象王,縱威湖海。此是衲子尋J37nB395_p0716a09常家計。若是山僧,又則不然。何故聻?一向幽棲荊南J37nB395_p0716a10護國,曾無一字掛於諸方,雪髮雖爾撐天,腳跟曾未J37nB395_p0716a11點地,猶懶鋤花弄月,惟思閉戶閒眠。今日策杖南遊,J37nB395_p0716a12邂逅同門,至延茶話,凡齋廚笊籬缺漏、田舍钁柄短J37nB395_p0716a13長,一一俱被覷破。既逢家裡人,還唱故鄉曲,而調拍J37nB395_p0716a14相酬,有何不可?所以今日不致囊藏被蓋,直下八字J37nB395_p0716a15打開,和盤托似諸人了也。」遂喝一喝,云:「還會麼?且道J37nB395_p0716a16意作麼生?覿面拋磚圖引玉,相期錦上更鋪花。」
J37nB395_p0716a17小參。「龍女一彈指頃,疾往南方無垢世界成等正覺,J37nB395_p0716a18且道與禪門立地成佛是同是別?若道是同,此人眼J37nB395_p0716a19目未開;若道是別,此人窮劫流浪,永無成佛之期。見J37nB395_p0716a20前大眾為我說道理看。」
J37nB395_p0716a21小參。「天高群象正,海闊百川朝,主伴重重現,何須嘆J37nB395_p0716a22寂寥?笑他法昌、楊岐諸尊宿好不大方,殊不知衲僧J37nB395_p0716a23家荒村破院、弔影孤形,一衲一盂無求於世,天子不J37nB395_p0716a24得臣、諸侯不得友,鬼神莫測、榮辱無于,叵耐茫茫宇J37nB395_p0716a25宙罕遇其人,苟遇其人則兩手分付。雖然如是,莫當J37nB395_p0716a26等閒,欲垂海上任公釣,拼取閒身耐歲寒。」
垂問
J37nB395_p0716a28舉:「船子和尚撥棹歌云:『別人只看采芙蓉,香氣長粘J37nB395_p0716a29于指風,兩岸映,一船紅,何曾解染得虛空?』天目禮禪J37nB395_p0716a30師拈云:『船子老人話作兩橛即且置,我且問你:諸人J37nB395_p0716b01喚甚麼作虛空?』喝一喝。」師云:「大凡宗師家垂一言半J37nB395_p0716b02句,莫不激揚本分,敲磕門風。看他二大老,眼觀東南,J37nB395_p0716b03意在西北,拈頭綴尾,共顯規模,簡點將來,二俱不了,J37nB395_p0716b04一箇兔頭戴角,一箇龜背刮毛。要見船子麼?」以右手J37nB395_p0716b05拍膝云:「者裡是。要見天自麼?」以左手拍膝云:「者裡是。J37nB395_p0716b06還見山僧落處麼?打破虛空,與汝相見。」喝一喝。
J37nB395_p0716b07舉:「香嚴禪師示眾云:『此事如人上樹,口啣樹枝、腳不J37nB395_p0716b08踏枝,樹下有人問西來太意,若答則喪身失命,否則J37nB395_p0716b09又辜問意。』有虎頭上座出眾便言:『樹上則不問,樹下J37nB395_p0716b10道將一句來。』香嚴大笑,歸方丈。」師云:「者老漢善排陷J37nB395_p0716b11虎之陣,滿擬活捉生擒,直饒鐵眼銅睛,到者裡也須J37nB395_p0716b12倒戈卸甲、納款受降有分,不料艸窠裡鑽出個輕輕J37nB395_p0716b13一問,直得瓦解冰消一場麼㦬。然雖如是,莫道無事J37nB395_p0716b14好持缽。」舉:「世尊因阿難持缽,乃曰:『當依七佛儀式。』難J37nB395_p0716b15便問佛:『如何是七佛儀式?』佛召阿難,難應諾,佛云:『便J37nB395_p0716b16恁麼去。』」乃云:「古怪在當時早有與麼消息,然雖世尊J37nB395_p0716b17為人天師,不當見小利,既是家裏弟昆,何得以干戈J37nB395_p0716b18相待?阿難亦善放憨,隨風倒舵。若是山僧,待云:『當依J37nB395_p0716b19七佛儀式。』但輕輕向前云:『不合起動世尊。』不為瓦解J37nB395_p0716b20冰消,要且一槌兩當。」以手招眾云:「如何是七佛儀式?J37nB395_p0716b21便恁麼去。」
J37nB395_p0716b22舉:「黃龍心和尚與夏公立極譚《肇論》,論會萬物為自J37nB395_p0716b23己,情與無情共一體。時有狗子臥香桌下,龍拈尺擊J37nB395_p0716b24狗子並香桌,狗子有情則去,香桌無情則住。心云:『情J37nB395_p0716b25與無情如何得成一體?』公立不能對。龍云:『纔涉思惟,J37nB395_p0716b26便成賸法,何嘗會萬物為自己哉?』靈巖慍禪師云:『黃J37nB395_p0716b27龍老漢傷慈不少,公立如入寶山,空手而歸。』諸人要J37nB395_p0716b28會萬物為自己,情與無情共一體麼?鎚殺有情狗子,J37nB395_p0716b29碎卻無情香桌,盡情收拾一團束縛,拋向東洋大海,J37nB395_p0716b30自然灑灑落落,然須更知有頂門一竅始得。」乃云:「抽J37nB395_p0716c01釘拔揳即不無靈巖,爭奈傷鋒犯手何?如有情狗子J37nB395_p0716c02仍叫他守夜,無情香桌留來支用。諸人要會萬物為J37nB395_p0716c03自己,情與無情共一體麼?但將擬議思量底一刀兩J37nB395_p0716c04段,則十方空蕩蕩地,自然常光現前,喚甚麼有情無J37nB395_p0716c05情與你為礙為緣?若是頂門一竅,且聽拄杖子著力。」J37nB395_p0716c06擊香案,下座。
法語
J37nB395_p0716c08太司馬蔡門一品夫人閔氏對靈法語。「體露金風一J37nB395_p0716c09葉輕,韶華謝卻問前程。雲開野色清如水,萬里長空J37nB395_p0716c10一鴈橫。來來未曾來,錦織太虛;去去實不去,月落潭J37nB395_p0716c11水。恭惟J37nB395_p0716c12誥封一品夫人,德符坤善,化成一家。慈惠居嫻,人稱J37nB395_p0716c13女中堯舜;勤儉勷理,世仰閨閣丈夫。賢擬姬姜,正位J37nB395_p0716c14乎內;淑過韋宋,較美於前。茲者正司馬公奉J37nB395_p0716c15命南征,帥師滇黔,無內顧之憂者,蓋為夫人之內政J37nB395_p0716c16所致,正宜克享珠冠,媲美珪璋。倏爾瑤池,請符卒至,J37nB395_p0716c17所謂世間白髮惟公道,貴人頭上不曾饒。然雖如是,J37nB395_p0716c18此一著子也不可錯過,況一門蘭桂森森,親秉遺訓,J37nB395_p0716c19可為駢臻福禧。何故聻?花開果實,有始有終,古今一J37nB395_p0716c20定之理。即今車馬雲集,棺槨之美、麥禮之肅,朝野將J37nB395_p0716c21相莫不親往厚奠,閭閻士庶舉世咸稱。懿德寺叨司J37nB395_p0716c22馬護法錫帶有年,值此瘞玉之秋,特拈西來大意於J37nB395_p0716c23靈堂,以資太夫人逍遙蓮域,以證無量佛身。噫!啼鳥J37nB395_p0716c24落花春夢斷,圓音一點亙古今。」
J37nB395_p0716c25縣主岳考辛封君對靈法語。「哀哀三嘆蓼莪章,罔極J37nB395_p0716c26方能一報償,緩急末後申薦取,始知源遠派流長。灼J37nB395_p0716c27然欲報至德,須是親見本生爺娘始得。即此時也,薰J37nB395_p0716c28風自南來,殿閣生微涼,滄海浮漚變,人生夢一場。所J37nB395_p0716c29以道:處生死流,驪珠獨耀於滄海;踞涅槃岸,桂輪獨J37nB395_p0716c30朗於碧天。如是則人人頂門上放大寶光,個個赤肉J37nB395_p0717a01團壁立千仞,況眉間有劍、肘後有符,任他長安正▆,J37nB395_p0717a02須知我國宴然。即如J37nB395_p0717a03皇清誥封宣威將軍辛公德勝大人,迺我縣令護法J37nB395_p0717a04岳考,嗣續惟艱。生女門楣,實西蜀世胄;夔門閥閱,以J37nB395_p0717a05勳臣歸清。由武并駐楚,耳順矍鑠,有楚丘之風;性本J37nB395_p0717a06天資,賦浩然之氣。宜享介眉之期頤,倏爾蜨夢於莊J37nB395_p0717a07周,辭祿養而就蓮胎,駕三車而出火宅。時茲歸窆之J37nB395_p0717a08期,特筵齋供以奠。」以拂子打○相,云:「老封君!會麼?即J37nB395_p0717a09今無面目漢向甚麼處安身立命?」喝一喝,云:「從前汗J37nB395_p0717a10馬無人識,只要重論蓋代功,下定神州三百寨,倒騎J37nB395_p0717a11鐵馬上須峰。」
J37nB395_p0717a12陳門母子對靈法語。「釋迦降跡塵寰,示現雙林;孔聖J37nB395_p0717a13周遊列國,仍返鄹邑;老君化遊函谷,夢於槐里。古云:J37nB395_p0717a14『既知生是不生之理,為甚麼被生死之所流轉?』所以J37nB395_p0717a15三教聖人亦不外此涅槃二字。惟是陳門張老孺人,J37nB395_p0717a16真女中丈夫,具大人氣相,學佛多年,嚴精五戒,有台J37nB395_p0717a17山婆子之風,恨未遇趙州勘破。伊子日生居士,幼叨J37nB395_p0717a18庠序,修短顏回,臨危囑母以令伯祖妣撫孫公案,致J37nB395_p0717a19伊姑媳相守,節操冰霜,頗奈其人而無其志。今二孫J37nB395_p0717a20稍稍成立,冀得功成身退,無疾而終,亦人間希有之J37nB395_p0717a21事,可謂學佛有效,因果分明,具衲僧手眼,撩起便行。J37nB395_p0717a22今日母子同期還山,世人見之無不酸楚,以余觀之J37nB395_p0717a23則不然也。昔宋丞相天祥文公抗大元三年而終,伊J37nB395_p0717a24母靈柩在廣,致期同歸窆瘞,實乃忠孝感格千古之J37nB395_p0717a25下,名垂青史,可與陳門母子同日而語也,豈不忠孝J37nB395_p0717a26媲美乎?還山一事,無以為贈。」以拂子指棺云:「母子還J37nB395_p0717a27山豈偶然?三生石上舊因緣,母啄子啐齊著力,大家J37nB395_p0717a28同躋白雲天。」
J37nB395_p0717a29縣令唐太封君法語。「汾水蜀山意渺茫,秦川歷歷泛J37nB395_p0717a30瀟湘,銀山海嶽都拋卻,靈臺一點性偏長。切我監察J37nB395_p0717b01御史太翁唐封君,迺西蜀巨擘,閥閱名家。其居官也,J37nB395_p0717b02蒞任節度;其問壽也,享筭古稀。誕育子兮,為我荊南J37nB395_p0717b03首邑,父母人龍,指日高擢五馬大夫,莫可定也。我節J37nB395_p0717b04度使太翁,不愧明教,始終福慧人也。茲緣移柩至楚,J37nB395_p0717b05登舟返蜀,僧叨護法有年,致期率眾以奠。」乃炷香云:J37nB395_p0717b06「西來大意又重宣,覿面相呈豈偶然?會得其中關捩J37nB395_p0717b07子,撒手逍遙極樂天。」
J37nB395_p0717b08三府李護法對靈法語。「楚水燕山意偏長,特簡荊南J37nB395_p0717b09夢一場,君恩母德都拋卻,贏得莊周何有方?四大原J37nB395_p0717b10無主,五蘊本俱空,世事雲遷變,浮生一夢中。來來實J37nB395_p0717b11不來,鴈過長空;去去實不去,影沉寒水。若也於斯悟J37nB395_p0717b12得本來面目,又何須門外之遶?是以勝思惟梵天問J37nB395_p0717b13不退轉天子云:『天子!我常於此國土不曾見汝。』天子J37nB395_p0717b14云:『梵天!我亦於此國土不曾見我。』有我有汝,展轉難J37nB395_p0717b15見,必竟如何見得分明?」舉拂子云:「老封君會麼?」喝一J37nB395_p0717b16喝。「新筍看成堂下竹,落花都上燕泥梁,常憶上苑三J37nB395_p0717b17春裡,子規啼徹百花香。」
機緣
J37nB395_p0717b19僧問:「學人明知自心是佛、自心作佛,日用之中如何J37nB395_p0717b20保任?」師打云:「會麼?」僧禮拜,師云:「一翳在眼,空花亂墜。」J37nB395_p0717b21僧珍重,便出。師云:「只恐不是玉。」
J37nB395_p0717b22僧問:「若論此事,覿體見成,因甚麼學人不會?」師云:「緊J37nB395_p0717b23帩艸鞋。」僧禮拜,師云:「劍去久矣。」
J37nB395_p0717b24僧問:「心佛眾生等無差別,如何不能洞然朗照?」師云:J37nB395_p0717b25「水到渠成。」
J37nB395_p0717b26僧問:「正恁麼時是甚麼人?」師云:「上是天,下是地。」僧禮J37nB395_p0717b27拜,師云:「棒打不回。」
J37nB395_p0717b28士問:「弟子生死不明,乞師開示。」師云:「好本天下同。」士J37nB395_p0717b29禮拜,師云:「小出大遇。」
J37nB395_p0717b30士問:「如何是道?」師云:「喫官酒,臥官街。」士便出,師云:「照J37nB395_p0717c01顧腳下。」
