J37nB372_p0067a02佛氏之教,玄遠而理深,世有J37nB372_p0067a03茫然不解其說者,固習之相J37nB372_p0067a04遠耳。間有能尋求於皮膚之J37nB372_p0067a05際者,亦惟以堅忍苦行,能舍J37nB372_p0067a06一切,遂謂西來之大義止此J37nB372_p0067a07矣。而於如來甚深之道,未之J37nB372_p0067a08所得而得者,毫釐千里也。且J37nB372_p0067a09如塵根難淨,凡想易萌,則非J37nB372_p0067a10如來所示拈花之旨,安能滌J37nB372_p0067a11垢而去穢哉?
J37nB372_p0067a12佛敏禪師,秦之天水人也。少J37nB372_p0067a13讀儒書,長入梵剎,精研內典,J37nB372_p0067a14了悟禪機。早得草堂之傳,行J37nB372_p0067a15道於關西諸剎,屢登高座,闡J37nB372_p0067a16示奧義,如陽和之消冰,涼雨J37nB372_p0067a17之解暑,無不沾其益也。門人J37nB372_p0067a18性通等,集語錄若干卷,授之J37nB372_p0067b01梓人,特請余序。余高陽酒徒J37nB372_p0067b02也,素不深於禪理,乃勉強搦J37nB372_p0067b03管,正如門外漢說屋裏話,未J37nB372_p0067b04免似夢中囈語耳。聞夫大顛、J37nB372_p0067b05佛印輩,與昌黎、眉山諸君子,J37nB372_p0067b06斯文往來,游戲三昧,蓋不拋J37nB372_p0067b07卻這個,亦不執卻這個。其所J37nB372_p0067b08謂無可離、無可著,藥是病、病J37nB372_p0067b09是藥者,心印相傳,掃除文字。J37nB372_p0067b10我於敏和尚,已見其當面棒J37nB372_p0067b11喝,頂門一針,以起夫斯世之J37nB372_p0067b12茫茫不解者深矣。敬述數語,J37nB372_p0067b13以引簡端。

J37nB372_p0067c02世尊拈花,迦葉微笑,傳此默契心宗。遞至二十八祖J37nB372_p0067c03達磨大師,來此東土,掃除文字窠臼,直指見性明心。J37nB372_p0067c04自蕭梁迄今,代有上根上智者,傳續慧命,闡化四方,J37nB372_p0067c05使聾者聞、瞽者視,而愚者得廣大智,教外別傳之旨,J37nB372_p0067c06可謂偉矣。西秦J37nB372_p0067c07佛敏和尚,蚤歲出家,勤修苦行,秉受毘尼於海會,遍J37nB372_p0067c08參知識於諸方。末向草堂室內,深受逼拶,於臥病之J37nB372_p0067c09中,豁然大悟,覺從前千七百則公案,如樂毅將兵下J37nB372_p0067c10齊七十餘城,了無阻礙。嗣法之後,湟中諸紳士,推主J37nB372_p0067c11大悲、葆寧、印心諸大剎,一時緇素雲臻。所說法語超J37nB372_p0067c12卓,而所著詩偈秀拔,類之於應菴華、密菴傑諸先哲J37nB372_p0067c13中,無分伯仲也。丁卯冬日,其法子三一、谷愚兩大師,J37nB372_p0067c14以請書本全藏,不遠數千里,特至嘉禾,且出此錄示J37nB372_p0067c15讀,不勝嘉歎。爰請繡諸梨棗,以附藏典流通,使天下J37nB372_p0067c16後世之披覽者,知雙桂一枝,佛法有在也。

J37nB372_p0067c22如來定慧圓通,一空色相,至諸大士則繇聲聞而入,J37nB372_p0067c23相去固有間矣。昔文殊師利問維摩詰:「何等是不二J37nB372_p0067c24法門?」摩詰默然無言。文殊師利嘆曰:「善哉,善哉!乃至J37nB372_p0067c25無有文字語言,是真入不二法門。」夫文字語言不離J37nB372_p0067c26聲聞者也,斯豈佛法第一義乎?予不習內典,顧嘗維J37nB372_p0067c27省生平汩沒於章句,口業紛紜,若老馬服轅,飛蟲觸J37nB372_p0067c28網,無以解脫。佛敏禪師者,予疇昔方外交也,爰自剃J37nB372_p0067c29度海會,傳衣艸堂,迨夫栖禪湟水,趺坐印心,幾二十J37nB372_p0067c30餘臘矣。跋涉而往,吟詠以歸,於緇流中稱為白足。壬J37nB372_p0068a01戌之仲冬,禪師錫飛涇上,予與握手道故,冀警前失,J37nB372_p0068a02師乃出其語錄一卷示予,且屬予為之序。噫嘻!斯不J37nB372_p0068a03亦文字語言摩詰置之若遺者耶?師曰:「不然,西來奧J37nB372_p0068a04義未易幾也。以向道者言之,資有哲愚,悟有頓漸;以J37nB372_p0068a05設教者言之,時有升降,機有淺深。自夫佛法闡而象J37nB372_p0068a06教興,祖說昌而宗風啟,蓋憫一切眾生不識者箇就J37nB372_p0068a07裏,失卻本來。彼蚩蚩者無論已,即或功行積苦,參稽J37nB372_p0068a08素勤,然尚有眯於塵坋,疲於津梁,往往機鋒相示,隱J37nB372_p0068a09躍當前,而悟入者鮮矣。迄於今,愈趨愈下,棒之喝之,J37nB372_p0068a10而魘寐者尚難醒,委頓者尚難起。予之此錄,所為指J37nB372_p0068a11迷以康莊,愈疾以鍼石者也。子乃欲廢文字語言,以J37nB372_p0068a12幾法門第一,其於開示,不亦遠乎?」予曰:「唯唯,吾知之J37nB372_p0068a13矣。」入堂奧者,必歷階而上也;登山岳者,必繇麓而巔J37nB372_p0068a14也。夫淫哇且競響矣,顧羨太音之希聲,薄笙鏞非雅J37nB372_p0068a15奏;密唧方薦羞矣,顧求太羹之至味,鄙鼎俎匪珍烹。J37nB372_p0068a16是責盲者以察秋毫,視滄溟若溪谷,不假舟航而欲J37nB372_p0068a17訪蓬壺也。若禪師者,難為酬對,深得實相,善說妙法,J37nB372_p0068a18請往付梓,以紹傳燈。微獨廣誘群蒙,即予鄉所蒂芥J37nB372_p0068a19以祈解免者,亦豁然冰釋已。

J37nB372_p0068b02余不佞琦,龜蒙尼父弟子也,生平事佛惟謹,又謹於J37nB372_p0068b03事仙。夫以洙泗淵源,而又釋老之是尚,所以然者何J37nB372_p0068b04與?蓋未有天地以前,與既有天地之後,秖是者箇物J37nB372_p0068b05事,在佛則佛、在仙則仙、在儒則儒,因是知儒不獨在J37nB372_p0068b06玉堂金馬,仙不獨在十洲三島,佛不獨在鷲嶺梵宮J37nB372_p0068b07也。故西方聖人及歷代諸祖,欲令沙界眾生箇箇薦J37nB372_p0068b08取自己鼻孔。由是言之,則J37nB372_p0068b09敏翁和尚出現於世,無非為此一大事因緣也。琦生J37nB372_p0068b10同鄉井,誼篤交遊,憶昔識荊於郡東關海會禪院,時J37nB372_p0068b11和尚年僅十五,性朴而不事浮華,質純而克敦愿愨,J37nB372_p0068b12行住坐臥,不衫不履,識者心異,為鍾道法器。夫何時J37nB372_p0068b13日難留,合離不偶?未幾,有隨師掃塔漢南,余與諸君J37nB372_p0068b14子折柳於赤峪道上,見兩岸桃花,一線清風,景色天J37nB372_p0068b15然,爛熳如畫。和尚謂余曰:「西來無大意,遠槐高掛玲J37nB372_p0068b16瓏月;東土有宗旨,細柳輕搖散碎風。」言已,撒手別去。J37nB372_p0068b17自此白雲堆裏,紫霞峰頭,瞻仰杖履,殆不啻作天際J37nB372_p0068b18真人想也。未幾,南雁北征,聞和尚復掛錫峨嵋,數年J37nB372_p0068b19以來,不知踏破幾緉草鞋,參遍多少名宿,始得於腳J37nB372_p0068b20跟下驀然與主人相會,機緣湊泊,針芥滾頭之餘,爰J37nB372_p0068b21受法於耨雲老人。耨雲者,文雪嫡嗣,破山真孫,天童J37nB372_p0068b22第四代法裔也。按源流之有自,知遇合之匪常,余又J37nB372_p0068b23與和尚不啻作一時千秋、一日萬年想已。雖然,生死J37nB372_p0068b24無常,緣分有定,今春上巳之吉,會慈航之東渡,感法J37nB372_p0068b25駕之西來,宗眼照乘,舟車霜露依舊,宗風襲人,山川J37nB372_p0068b26草木如新。余固知和尚一物不有,萬象皆空,於侍者J37nB372_p0068b27處止得所錄法語若干卷,焚香莊讀,燁然若日星之J37nB372_p0068b28經於天,淵然若江河之行於地,片言隻字,無非欲沙J37nB372_p0068b29界眾生人人認識本來面目,箇箇薦取自己鼻孔,要J37nB372_p0068b30未可與妄於驢頭上簪花,硬向人口中填鐵者同日J37nB372_p0068c01語也。願讀斯錄者,於有字句處領取,於無字句處悟J37nB372_p0068c02入,到得者裏,天風木葉盡皆文章,鳥語花香悉具真J37nB372_p0068c03機,俾斯錄也,無孤負和尚老婆心切,因搦管登簡而J37nB372_p0068c04敬授之剞劂氏。

J37nB372_p0069a05山門。云:「從門入者不是家珍,且從甚麼處入?咄!渾身J37nB372_p0069a06在裏許。」拽杖便入。
J37nB372_p0069a07佛殿。云:「若道是佛,泥團土塊;若道非佛,巍巍堂堂。且J37nB372_p0069a08道畢竟喚作甚麼?」遂顧左右,云:「看看!老僧眉毛在麼?」J37nB372_p0069a09展具作禮。
J37nB372_p0069a10據室。「者個所在,佛也難近其傍,祖也難趨其右,且利J37nB372_p0069a11害在甚麼處?」拈拄杖,旋風打散。
J37nB372_p0069a12大護法含昱、法可、法實、法智、法祥,捐薪重修,功德落J37nB372_p0069a13成。於壬子年十月十五日設齋請J37nB372_p0069a14上堂。詣法座,云:「華王座上簸土揚塵,千聖頂門屙屎J37nB372_p0069a15撒尿,猶是過量人施為。且新長老到來作何去就?」卓J37nB372_p0069a16拄杖,云:「也不輕意放過。」便陞。拈香,云:「此瓣香,光通三J37nB372_p0069a17際,氣貫八埏,爇向爐中,端為祝延今上J37nB372_p0069a18皇帝聖躬萬歲萬萬歲,伏願常居金闕,永統山河。」次J37nB372_p0069a19拈,云:「此瓣香,能殺能活,能縱能奪,奉為滿朝文武、天J37nB372_p0069a20下宰官,常為聖主之股肱,永作法門之城塹。」又拈,云:J37nB372_p0069a21「此瓣香,能滅千災,能成萬德,能以一身作長城、隻手J37nB372_p0069a22為砥柱,奉為當齋請主含昱大人,伏願功高十地,位J37nB372_p0069a23壓三賢。」復拈,云:「此瓣香,親之不得,疏之不得,今日在J37nB372_p0069a24人天眾前埋沒不得,爇向爐中供養前住天水海會J37nB372_p0069a25堂上太虛和尚,用酬剃度得戒之恩。」再拈,云:「此瓣香,J37nB372_p0069a26惡如鳩酒,毒似砒霜,自從踏破草鞋,一旦親蒙印可,J37nB372_p0069a27第一回拈出供養現住四川保寧府草堂堂上傳臨J37nB372_p0069a28濟正宗第三十三世本師耨雲大和尚,用酬法乳。」斂J37nB372_p0069a29衣敷坐。醉舌和尚白椎,云:「法筵龍象眾,當觀第一義。」J37nB372_p0069a30師云:「第一義諦適來被我醉舌法弟奮威一擊,徹底J37nB372_p0069b01掀翻了也。眾中還有超群拔眾者麼?出來掀倒禪床,J37nB372_p0069b02喝散大眾,免累老僧舌頭拖地。」僧出,師云:「且緩緩著。」J37nB372_p0069b03僧拂袖歸眾,師云:「一場乾打鬨。」問:「三聖道:『我逢人則J37nB372_p0069b04出,出則不為人。』興化道:『我逢人則不出,出則便為人。』J37nB372_p0069b05秪如和尚今日是出也?是不出也?」師云:「闍黎高著眼。」J37nB372_p0069b06進云:「是為人也?是不為人也?」師打,云:「放過則不可。」進J37nB372_p0069b07云:「是賞?是罰?」師云:「賞罰分明。」問:「有一人長不喫飯不J37nB372_p0069b08道饑,有一人終日喫飯不道飽,未審是甚麼人?」師云:J37nB372_p0069b09「不妨疑著。」進云:「疑個甚麼?」師喝,進云:「莫是者一喝麼?」J37nB372_p0069b10師云:「急取鉤頭意,莫認定盤星。」乃云:「有一人寸步不J37nB372_p0069b11移,遊遍塵剎國土;有一人半字不宣,演出海藏靈文。J37nB372_p0069b12有時在十字街頭了無背向,有時向須彌頂上嘯月J37nB372_p0069b13吟風,有時南辰跨步,有時北斗藏身。把住也,鋒芒不J37nB372_p0069b14露;放行也,十字縱橫。所以道:『法無定相,遇緣即宗。』今J37nB372_p0069b15承含昱大人設齋,請山僧登座,向人天眾前鼓兩片J37nB372_p0069b16唇皮,抖擻枯腸,葛藤亂翻一上,大似挑燈日下、賣水J37nB372_p0069b17河頭。何也?我公功高十地,位壓三賢,權衡在握,發政J37nB372_p0069b18施仁,致君澤民,陶凡鑄聖。正與麼時,不求名而名自J37nB372_p0069b19著,不修道道自圓。山僧到者裡也是望空啟告,笑殺J37nB372_p0069b20傍觀。雖然如是,祗如今日因齋慶讚福國庇民一句J37nB372_p0069b21作麼生道?百城實藉金湯力,萬里歌謠賀太平。」結椎,J37nB372_p0069b22云:「諦觀法王法,法王法如是。」
J37nB372_p0069b23立兩序,上堂。「獨木不成林,孤掌不浪鳴,欲得祖風常J37nB372_p0069b24不墜,大家扶起破砂盆。還識破砂盆麼?」度拄杖與谷J37nB372_p0069b25愚侍者云:「好生扶著。」
J37nB372_p0069b26法可、法祥供法衣,請上堂。問:「驅馳龍象,直指風規,未J37nB372_p0069b27審衣線下事意作麼生?」師云:「待紅絲線斷,便向汝道。」J37nB372_p0069b28進云:「謝師答話。」師云:「賣寶遇著瞎波斯。」乃云:「甚奇怪!J37nB372_p0069b29甚奇怪!希聖希賢總仰賴,拈來包括五須彌,舒開遍J37nB372_p0069b30覆三千界。」驀拈袈裟,云:「莫是者個麼?且喜沒交涉。莫J37nB372_p0069c01是大庾嶺頭全提不起底麼?且喜沒交涉。莫是雞足J37nB372_p0069c02山前待兔守株底麼?且喜沒交涉。莫是波提大德日J37nB372_p0069c03用常披底麼?且喜沒交涉。莫是佛佛授手、祖祖相承J37nB372_p0069c04底麼?且喜沒交涉。既沒交涉,畜此何益?搭在無畏床J37nB372_p0069c05上與諸人作個標榜,得麼?」拱手,云:「慶喜我公,泥多佛J37nB372_p0069c06大。」
J37nB372_p0069c07上堂。「我有一句子欲與諸人說,若人辨得出,許作禪J37nB372_p0069c08狀元。且道是那一句子聻?」良久,云:「啞子夢見親爹爹。」J37nB372_p0069c09下座。
J37nB372_p0069c10秉拂,上堂。「百丈教人開田,一場乾打鬨;佛眼遣僧修J37nB372_p0069c11造,滿地是木楂。黃梅使老盧踏碓,憐兒不覺醜;楊岐J37nB372_p0069c12逼慈明晚參,好笑又驚人。今日草堂寺裡方丈老漢J37nB372_p0069c13命訥上座秉拂陞堂,大似牽牛上壁,笑殺傍觀。何故J37nB372_p0069c14聻?不是爺貧連子苦,免教家富小兒嬌。」
副使欒元魁請住香水泉葆寧禪院。
J37nB372_p0069c16上堂。拈香祝聖畢,師云:「扶起砂盆,惟賴當家種艸;光J37nB372_p0069c17揚聖化,還須作者禪和。有麼?有麼?出來相見。」問:「重整J37nB372_p0069c18爐韝,選佛場開,衲子到來如何煆煉?」師云:「照顧眉毛。」J37nB372_p0069c19進云:「設有銅頭鐵額漢來又作麼生?」師云:「站過一邊。」J37nB372_p0069c20問:「人天交集、車馬闐門即不問,如何是威音王那畔J37nB372_p0069c21事?」師云:「雷鳴殿角。」進云:「如何是者畔事?」師云:「雨打芭J37nB372_p0069c22蕉。」進云:「祗如葛藤掃蕩、不落依倚一句又作麼生道?」J37nB372_p0069c23師云:「任從滄海變,終不與君通。」乃云:「山野一向以來,J37nB372_p0069c24白醭生於嘴邊,青草長於舌上。」遂按膝,咦一聲,云:「錯J37nB372_p0069c25下註腳。」舉:「道林禪師至秦望山,見一長松盤屈如蓋,J37nB372_p0069c26遂棲止其上,號鳥窠焉。一日,白侍郎入山拜謁,問云:J37nB372_p0069c27『和尚住處太危險。』窠云:『居士危險猶甚。』白云:『弟子位J37nB372_p0069c28鎮江山,何險之有?』窠云:『晝夜薪火交煎,識性不停,得J37nB372_p0069c29非險乎?』白又問:『如何是佛法大意?』窠云:『諸惡莫作,眾J37nB372_p0069c30善奉行。』白云:『三歲孩兒也解恁麼道。』窠云:『三歲孩兒J37nB372_p0070a01雖道得,八十老翁行不得。』白作禮而退。」師云:「二老漢J37nB372_p0070a02一問、一答,一擒、一縱,喚作禪道佛法、喚作向上向下、J37nB372_p0070a03謂之菩提涅槃、謂之祖師巴鼻,正似鄭州出曹門。訥J37nB372_p0070a04上座今日且無如是葛藤,欒道臺也不來言去語。少J37nB372_p0070a05間,堂中擺齋,一任諸人粗嚥細嚼、豎咬橫吞,且與古J37nB372_p0070a06人相去多少?焦磚打著連底凍,赤眼撞著火柴頭。」下J37nB372_p0070a07座。
J37nB372_p0070a08晚參。「未出方丈時,山僧在諸人肚裏;已出方丈時,山J37nB372_p0070a09僧在諸人面前。且面前底是?肚裏底是?出來道看。」維J37nB372_p0070a10那云:「和尚雖是把斷要津、截斷舌頭,怎柰全身顯露?」J37nB372_p0070a11師云:「莫亂道。」乃云:「者個事無你開口處、無你著意處、J37nB372_p0070a12無你下手處、無你近傍處,只可屏息諸緣,勿生一念,J37nB372_p0070a13須將從前經過路頭并奇特知解一一鏟卻,鏟到無J37nB372_p0070a14可鏟處,鏟得大地平沉、虛空粉碎,正好來印心門下J37nB372_p0070a15喫棒。」
J37nB372_p0070a16小參。揮拂子,云:「見麼?眼本非色。」喝一喝,云:「聞麼?耳本J37nB372_p0070a17非聲。既非聲,又非色,畢竟是個甚麼?」良久,云:「早知不J37nB372_p0070a18入時人眼,多買胭脂畫牡丹。」
J37nB372_p0070a19湟中眾居士辦齋,請上堂。師云:「畏刀避箭者且退後,J37nB372_p0070a20久經行陣者向前來。」士問:「應無所住而生其心。既無J37nB372_p0070a21所住,心是何物?」師云:「不是物。」進云:「請和尚指示。」師云:J37nB372_p0070a22「指示則不無,要且不是心。」進云:「是甚麼?」師云:「火官頭J37nB372_p0070a23上風車子。」問:「法不孤起,仗境方生。如何是葆寧境?」師J37nB372_p0070a24云:「廚庫入僧堂,山門騎佛殿。」進云:「如何是境中人?」師J37nB372_p0070a25云:「待下座來,與汝一頓。」進云:「人境兩不立時如何?」師J37nB372_p0070a26云:「鬼入漆桶。」乃云:「大丈夫漢,參須真參,悟須實悟。堂J37nB372_p0070a27堂大道,潑天門戶。桃紅柳綠,觸目全彰。燕語鶯啼,深J37nB372_p0070a28譚不二。」遂以拄杖打○相,云:「若向者裏挨身拶入,敢J37nB372_p0070a29保一鎚便就,一火鑄成。其或未然,更與頌出:淨如滿J37nB372_p0070a30月,圓同寶鑑,能成萬德,能破諸暗。悟時無餘,迷時無J37nB372_p0070b01欠,妙在息機,貴乎忘見。」
J37nB372_p0070b02佛成道日,上堂。問:「臘月八日,世尊睹明星悟道,諸人J37nB372_p0070b03俱睹,因甚麼不悟?」師云:「切忌開眼作夢。」進云:「堂前生J37nB372_p0070b04瑞草,好事不如無。」師云:「閒言語。」乃云:「活驚殺,活笑殺,J37nB372_p0070b05山頭老漢沒傝𠎷,無端夜半睹明星,兩眼明明都填J37nB372_p0070b06瞎。」卓拄杖,云:「瞎,瞎。」

J37nB372_p0070b08山主柴崇基捐資重建此院,煥然一新。於戊午年正J37nB372_p0070b09月望日,別駕張來禎、都司胡禎及本城居士等請師J37nB372_p0070b10就當寺開堂。至法座前以杖指云:「挺然巍巍,平地懸J37nB372_p0070b11懸,三乘魂戰,十地膽寒。且道是甚麼所在?」喝一喝便J37nB372_p0070b12陞。拈香祝J37nB372_p0070b13聖罷,次拈云:「此瓣香可以修身齊家,可以定國安邦,J37nB372_p0070b14奉為現前請主在會檀越,伏願壽山聳峻,福址彌隆。」J37nB372_p0070b15又拈云:「此瓣香覷著則眼枯,觸著則腦裂,昔年草堂J37nB372_p0070b16第一句下承當,今日印心人天眾前拈出,此是第二J37nB372_p0070b17回,爇向爐中供養本師耨雲大和尚,用酬法乳。」斂衣J37nB372_p0070b18敷坐。旭止和尚臼椎畢,師云:「第一義諦已成滯貨,纔J37nB372_p0070b19涉唇吻須防話墮,眾中還有不涉唇吻者麼?出來相J37nB372_p0070b20見。」問:「法筵大展,爐韝重開,上堂一句即不問,未出方J37nB372_p0070b21丈時如何?」師云:「不涉途程。」進云:「已出方丈時如何?」師J37nB372_p0070b22云:「頭破腦裂。」進云:「恁麼則把斷要津,針鋒不露去也。」J37nB372_p0070b23師云:「你即今在甚麼處?」僧喝,師云:「緊防噎殺。」問:「實際J37nB372_p0070b24理地纖塵不立,佛法門中一屑難容,未審學人在什J37nB372_p0070b25麼處?」師云:「腦後見腮。」進云:「大千籠不住,沙界絕遮攔,J37nB372_p0070b26如何是函蓋乾坤句?」師云:「險。」進云:「千峰勢到嶽邊止,J37nB372_p0070b27萬派聲歸海上消。」師云:「了。」乃拈拄杖云:「木上座一向J37nB372_p0070b28以來黑漆桶裏住著,未敢輕示於人。」以杖置右手云:J37nB372_p0070b29「今日出來指東話西,似向缽盂安柄也。雖然如是,且J37nB372_p0070b30不得辜負拄杖子。何也?為伊頂門上有眼。」
J37nB372_p0070c01挂鐘板。拈鎚,云:「即此用,離此用,佛祖龜鑑、人天號令,J37nB372_p0070c02致使七通八達底到來難免腳慌手亂,直饒三頭六J37nB372_p0070c03臂者向前也須聽命歸降。且道以何為驗聻?」遂擊鐘J37nB372_p0070c04板,云:「切忌聽著。」
J37nB372_p0070c05晚參。「吹毛輥毬,張弓擎杈,楊岐驢子,曹山木蛇,洞山J37nB372_p0070c06麻三斤,雲門乾屎橛,都是些陳爛葛藤,有甚麼交涉?J37nB372_p0070c07印心者裏有領龜毛褐衫,綿綿密密,現現成成,設有J37nB372_p0070c08個通身是手底漢,出來一肩擔荷,撩起便行,正眼也J37nB372_p0070c09不敢覷他。」西堂云:「又道有甚交涉?」師云:「一棒打折你J37nB372_p0070c10驢腰。」
J37nB372_p0070c11別駕張來禎請上堂。問:「一切眾生皆具如來智慧德J37nB372_p0070c12相,因甚學人無個入處?」師云:「怪阿誰?」進云:「請和尚垂J37nB372_p0070c13示。」師云:「山僧舌頭短。」乃云:「上至諸佛,下至蠢動含靈,J37nB372_p0070c14皆具如來智慧德相,從古至今與佛祖一般,何處欠J37nB372_p0070c15少一毫毛許?所以道:在聖不增,在凡不減。諸佛以此J37nB372_p0070c16轉大法輪,祖師以此提持心印,國王以此化育蒼生,J37nB372_p0070c17我別駕張公以此發政施仁,訥上座以此應物利機,J37nB372_p0070c18下至蠢動含靈,都向此中安身立命去也。印心恁麼J37nB372_p0070c19酬唱,可謂盡情剖露,徹底掀翻。汝等諸人還委悉麼?J37nB372_p0070c20臘雪連天白,春風透戶寒。」
J37nB372_p0070c21含福善人供法衣,請上堂。師拈衣示眾云:「此是大庾J37nB372_p0070c22嶺頭提不起底,含福善人得來陳似老僧,與諸人作J37nB372_p0070c23個榜樣。還見麼?若以眼見,穿卻你眼根;若以耳見,穿J37nB372_p0070c24卻你耳根;如或進前退後,穿卻你腳根;若擬議思量,J37nB372_p0070c25穿卻你意根;若道總不恁麼,即穿卻你舌根。且道如J37nB372_p0070c26何即是?」良久,云:「畢竟水須朝海去,到頭雲定覓山歸。」J37nB372_p0070c27閱藏,小參。「佛說三藏十二部固不為多,祖成一千七J37nB372_p0070c28百則亦不為煩,橫說、豎說,塵說、剎說,無非教人言前J37nB372_p0070c29進步、句底翻身,頓明本地風光,徹證金剛智體。汝等J37nB372_p0070c30諸人要知此經不在文句上、不在博采上,又不在死J37nB372_p0071a01巴巴地、不在屙漉漉地。若是博采文句,三生六十劫J37nB372_p0071a02只是個尋行數墨人、倚門傍戶漢,究竟格外全提一J37nB372_p0071a03著子,猶未夢見在。山僧得個方便,與諸人略通消息。」J37nB372_p0071a04卓杖,云:「摩訶般若波羅密。」
J37nB372_p0071a05落堂,示眾。一僧出問:「香巖上樹……」話未終,師和聲便打,J37nB372_p0071a06云:「掠虛漢有甚了期?禪和家參須真參、悟須實悟,莫J37nB372_p0071a07學那般流撘鬼見解,忽然想出一段光景,便發虛道J37nB372_p0071a08怪,就說悟了。不見道:趙州四十年不雜用心,長慶蒲J37nB372_p0071a09團七破。那古人莫是搆你不得麼?」拈拄杖,云:「不得喚J37nB372_p0071a10作拄杖子,不得背卻拄杖子,向者裏討得下落,來方J37nB372_p0071a11丈裏通個消息。」
J37nB372_p0071a12上堂。問:「祖席重新,宗風遠播,祗如透網金鱗到來,如J37nB372_p0071a13何收攝?」師云:「試飛騰看。」進云:「金風吹玉管,那個是知J37nB372_p0071a14音?」師云:「你須領取者一頓。」乃云:「柳眼豁開金世界,梅J37nB372_p0071a15稍吐出玉玲瓏,東風一陣籬邊過,惹得遊蜂嚷舊新。J37nB372_p0071a16還有不涉新舊底,出來道看。」卓拄杖,云:「可憐不是當J37nB372_p0071a17家子,孤負蒼蒼兩道眉。」
J37nB372_p0071a18上堂。「全提半提,了沒交涉;鈍根利根,何須修證?芭蕉J37nB372_p0071a19拄杖子,頭上安頭;楊岐破燈盞,費油不少。昔達磨大J37nB372_p0071a20師無端面壁,惹得神光斷臂求安,連累後代多少人J37nB372_p0071a21落他圈套,箇箇扶籬摸壁,求出不得、求入不得。今日J37nB372_p0071a22山僧路見不平,為諸人作個撇脫。」拈拄杖,卓一下,云:J37nB372_p0071a23「快活!快活!雖然,也是無佛處放光。忽有個傍不肯底J37nB372_p0071a24出來,和聲便掌,臭罵一頓,山僧只得懡㦬而退,走入J37nB372_p0071a25大眾袈裟角裏去也。為何如此?有了你,沒了我。」
J37nB372_p0071a26薦嚴,小參。「北斗藏身,了無名相之表;南辰跨步,頓絕J37nB372_p0071a27是非之端。正恁麼時,月色沉沉,風聲寂寂,合作麼生J37nB372_p0071a28是賀公宗親底面目?」喝一喝,云:「欲會其中真受用,除J37nB372_p0071a29非身帶退魂香。」
J37nB372_p0071a30旭止法弟領兩序辦齋,請上堂。問:「請師答話。」師云:「老J37nB372_p0071b01僧沒口。」進云:「堂堂獨露,觸目生光,到者裏還有別通J37nB372_p0071b02處麼?」師云:「有。」進云:「甚麼處是別通一路?」師打。進云:「瞎J37nB372_p0071b03棒不得亂打。」師云:「瞎棒有瞎漢喫在。」乃云:「楊岐逼慈J37nB372_p0071b04明晚參,成人不自在;趙州教嚴陽放下,自在不成人;J37nB372_p0071b05院主請藥山陞座,節外生枝;睦州唆臨濟喫棒,不是J37nB372_p0071b06好心。今辰旭止法弟領眾營齋,更教印心長老向曲J37nB372_p0071b07彔床上弄鬼眼睛。且道:是好心?是不好心?具眼者試J37nB372_p0071b08定當看。」良久,云:「寒冬不借陽回力,爭得隴梅鬥雪開?」
J37nB372_p0071b09說戒,上堂。「參底不是禪、學底不是道、說底不是法、授J37nB372_p0071b10底不是戒,直饒向淨裸裸處承當,早已拖泥帶水;更J37nB372_p0071b11從活鱍鱍地領略,未免背覺合塵。且道:如何即得?」豎J37nB372_p0071b12拂子,云:「會麼?黃金自有黃金價,爭肯和沙賣與人?」

云:「解開布袋口,天上J37nB372_p0071b15人間、魔宮虎穴,任爾縱橫。」據定拄杖,云:「解結且置,秪J37nB372_p0071b16如漿水錢教什麼人還?」卓一卓,云:「腳跟下好與三十J37nB372_p0071b17拄杖。」結制,上堂。拈香祝J37nB372_p0071b19聖畢,師云:「正令未行,十方坐斷;正令已行,千差合轍。J37nB372_p0071b20且放行好?把住好?試出來道看。」問:「放行也得,把住也J37nB372_p0071b21得,祗如不放行、不把住還得麼?」師云:「得。」進云:「恁麼則J37nB372_p0071b22光明殿裏簸土揚塵,糞草堆頭紫金光聚。」師云:「不得。」J37nB372_p0071b23僧喝,師打,云:「一喝兩喝後又作麼生?」僧歸眾,師云:「降J37nB372_p0071b24旗不斬。」乃云:「諸方結制、解制,上堂、普說,唯知多與兒J37nB372_p0071b25酥乳喫,消與不消都總不知。印心者裡也沒解結、也J37nB372_p0071b26沒酥乳與兒喫,直教諸人截斷攀緣,全身放下。且放J37nB372_p0071b27下個甚麼聻?放下腰包、頂笠、竹杖、芒鞋,向印心堂中J37nB372_p0071b28大死一回,甦醒過來,方知頭上有青天、腳下無寸土,J37nB372_p0071b29那時雞足、九華、峨眉、五臺,要去便去、要來便來,若是J37nB372_p0071b30詐明頭、掠虛漢,決不輕恕。珍重。」
J37nB372_p0071c01協鎮陳萬策請上堂。問:「人天瞻仰,遐邇歸從,即今鎮J37nB372_p0071c02臺陳公覿面拈香,未審有何奇特事?」師云:「獨有一雙J37nB372_p0071c03窮相手,未曾低揖等閒人。」進云:「爐韝未開,煙光寂寂;J37nB372_p0071c04鉗鎚大展,烈燄騰騰。假饒不涉肯綮底人來,又作麼J37nB372_p0071c05生?」師云:「省卻山僧多少力。」乃云:「眉橫額上,耳掛面傍,J37nB372_p0071c06鼻孔下垂,通身露布。當此之際,人人意氣崢嶸,個個J37nB372_p0071c07頂天立地。」默顧左右,云:「還見麼?不可以眼見,不可以J37nB372_p0071c08耳聞,不可以言言,不可以識識。若以眼見則瞎,耳聞J37nB372_p0071c09則聾,言言啞卻你口,識識無你湊泊處。畢竟如何即J37nB372_p0071c10是?舉頭天外看,誰是我般人?」
J37nB372_p0071c11優婆塞弟子含已,室人照阿男、張廷臣請上堂。舉:「藥J37nB372_p0071c12山久不陞座,院主白云:『大眾久思和尚示誨。』山云:『打J37nB372_p0071c13鐘著。』眾纔集,山便下座,歸方丈。院主隨後問云:『和尚J37nB372_p0071c14許為大眾說法,為甚一言不措?』山云:『經有經師、論有J37nB372_p0071c15論師,怎怪得老僧?』」師云:「藥山可謂七通八達,被者僧J37nB372_p0071c16一問,只得舌頭亂攪、口裏胡翻。幸爾在方丈裏面,不J37nB372_p0071c17然活活羞殺。祗今莫有恁麼人?若有,待問:『為甚一言J37nB372_p0071c18不措?』向他道:『印心院裏明日有齋。』」
J37nB372_p0071c19賀有德供法衣、拄杖,請上堂。問:「官不容針,私通車馬,J37nB372_p0071c20學人欲借一問,得麼?」師云:「教你莫當頭。」僧進前一步,J37nB372_p0071c21師劈頭一棒。進云:「蒼天!蒼天!」師云:「蒼天!蒼天!」乃豎拄J37nB372_p0071c22杖,云:「者木上座能殺能活,能縱能奪,佛祖到來總不J37nB372_p0071c23饒,千手大悲難摸索。一向以來,倚墻靠壁,鞭牛擲馬,J37nB372_p0071c24不料冤家路窄,撞著個無知俗漢,大有徑庭,不近人J37nB372_p0071c25情,硬向驢頭上簪花,推出來與眾公相見。」卓一卓,云:J37nB372_p0071c26「還識拄杖子麼?汾陽云:『識得拄杖子,行腳事畢。』草堂J37nB372_p0071c27云:『識得拄杖子,更參三十年。』印心要且不然,識得拄J37nB372_p0071c28杖子,烏龜鑽破壁。雖然如是,印心見處也要諸人共J37nB372_p0071c29知。」靠拄杖,下座。
J37nB372_p0071c30薦嚴,小參。「生事之以禮,死葬之以禮,祭之以禮,龜蒙J37nB372_p0072a01尼父之施為。祖師門下又則不然,生事之以禮,雲門J37nB372_p0072a02乾屎橛;死葬之以禮,南方丙丁火;祭之以禮,曹山好J37nB372_p0072a03釅酒。且道與尼父之理是同是別?」以拂子拍案,云:「哩J37nB372_p0072a04羅連,羅哩連,哩羅羅,哩連華羅。」
J37nB372_p0072a05資亡,小參。「家計千般,都盧從此放下;恩情萬倍,儼然J37nB372_p0072a06瓦解冰消。到者裏,乾坤不管,今古何拘?千聖喚不回J37nB372_p0072a07頭,百鳥都無尋跡。當此之際,且楊氏夫人還有安身J37nB372_p0072a08立命處麼?片片白雲去復留,看來隊隊黃金骨。」
J37nB372_p0072a09解制,上堂。「印心今日解制,還有則未了底公案要與J37nB372_p0072a10諸人辯明;若不辯明,恐去諸方逢人錯舉。」良久,顧視J37nB372_p0072a11左右,云:「大耳不同謀。」下座。
J37nB372_p0072a12辭眾,上堂。「崢嶸頭角被誰牽?犁耙春風卸下肩,直入J37nB372_p0072a13雲深深處去,頻煨黃獨且隨便。」
勘驗機緣
J37nB372_p0072a15首座入,師云:「誰賓誰主?」座喝,師云:「莫著忙。」座拂袖出,J37nB372_p0072a16師云:「草賊大敗。」
J37nB372_p0072a17西堂入,師喝,堂云:「相見了也。」師云:「你道是阿誰?」堂亦J37nB372_p0072a18喝,師云:「克家須是破家兒。」
J37nB372_p0072a19維那入,師云:「者漢來也。」那拂袖歸眾,師云:「少觀行陣。」
J37nB372_p0072a20僧入,師云:「今日風頭稍硬。」僧喝,師打,云:「教你莫當頭。」
J37nB372_p0072a21僧參,師云:「那邊來?」曰:「南方。」師豎起拂子云:「者個是南J37nB372_p0072a22方貨,那邊價值多少?」僧罔測,師云:「你不從南方來。」
J37nB372_p0072a23谷愚參,師云:「近日有新句子麼?」曰:「有。」師云:「陳似來看。」J37nB372_p0072a24愚展手曰:「請和尚刪正。」師云:「放你三十棒。」曰:「過在甚J37nB372_p0072a25麼處?」師云:「再犯不容。」
J37nB372_p0072a26僧參,師云:「甚處來?」曰:「花牛寨。」師云:「車在者裏,牛在什J37nB372_p0072a27麼處?」僧喝,師云:「還欠鞭捶在。」
J37nB372_p0072a28問僧:「你有號否?」曰:「有。」師云:「叫什麼?」僧咳嗽一聲,師云:J37nB372_p0072a29「波斯照鏡。」
J37nB372_p0072a30行僧作禮次,師云:「上座!師為是誰?」曰:「與和尚同師。」師J37nB372_p0072b01云:「你道吾師即今在甚麼處?」僧無語。師云:「怪你不得。」
J37nB372_p0072b02同眾搓繩次,問一僧云:「洞山麻三觔,汝作麼會?」僧拈J37nB372_p0072b03起繩曰:「某甲搓成索了。」師便掌。僧曰:「屈。」師云:「你看者J37nB372_p0072b04賊抱贓叫屈。」
J37nB372_p0072b05默如參,師云:「不勞起倒。」曰:「久響和尚道風。」師以手掩J37nB372_p0072b06鼻,如作色,師微笑云:「適來老僧多事。」
J37nB372_p0072b07僧看《寶訓》,師云:「熟讀此經,好作長老。」僧作禮,師云:「拄J37nB372_p0072b08杖子聻?」僧豎拳頭,師云:「更參三十年。」
J37nB372_p0072b09素可作禮次,師云:「葆寧誰主?」曰:「某甲。」師云:「又道你在J37nB372_p0072b10問心。」曰:「有時葆寧,有時問心。」師云:「徒費腳頭。」可拂臥J37nB372_p0072b11具便行。師云:「怪得,怪得。」
J37nB372_p0072b12羅居士作禮,師云:「你從瞿曇寺來,瞿曇與你說甚麼?」J37nB372_p0072b13士茫然,師云:「空走一回。」
J37nB372_p0072b14問僧:「那裏來?」曰:「地湧塔。」師云:「懶長老有甚言句?」曰:「有J37nB372_p0072b15甚言句?」師云:「可憐生。」
J37nB372_p0072b16僧參,師云:「那邊來?」曰:「固原。」師云:「甚處住?」曰:「無住處。」師J37nB372_p0072b17云:「亂走作麼?」僧無語。師喚侍者:「將茶與伊打濕口。」
問答機緣
J37nB372_p0072b19僧問:「大耳三藏第三度不見南陽國師,未審國師在J37nB372_p0072b20甚麼處?」師云:「你莫是瞎子麼?」僧擬議,師云:「為不得。」
J37nB372_p0072b21副使欒公入山,問云:「和尚得法何人?」師云:「何人得法?」J37nB372_p0072b22曰:「既不得法,憑甚麼到恁麼地位?」師豎拳云:「憑者個。」J37nB372_p0072b23曰:「莫是憑手段麼?」師云:「被大人勘破。」
J37nB372_p0072b24掌印王公問:「和尚貴庚多少?」師云:「與居士同庚。」曰:「和J37nB372_p0072b25尚何得誑語?」師云:「卻是汝誑問。」

J37nB372_p0072c06士問:「和尚先鄉。」師云:「與汝同鄉。」曰:「弟子是者裡人。」師J37nB372_p0072c07云:「山僧不在者裡住。」士無語。師云:「居士相似忘卻了。」
