象崖珽禪師語錄卷第一
序
J34nB308_p0533a02西來一宗,自天童中興,濟上兒孫遍天下,J34nB308_p0533a03可謂盛矣!然未有如雙桂之尤超於諸方J34nB308_p0533a04也。雙桂得大機用,決不肯以第二門頭示J34nB308_p0533a05人,故受其煆鍊者,亦皆具大人相,如獅子J34nB308_p0533a06不遊於兔徑。第此事雖云一倒便休,若離J34nB308_p0533a07師太蚤,又安能光明絢赫乎?余所以深服J34nB308_p0533a08象崖禪師,可謂雙桂嫡子,不異破山老人J34nB308_p0533a09之於天童也。當其初辭受業,將往參方,聞J34nB308_p0533a10金粟且赴黃檗,即先期候焉。正所謂打頭J34nB308_p0533a11便遇作家,更不入狐干群隊矣!遂親侍不J34nB308_p0533a12去,迨金粟因事散眾,又擇其的嗣而依之。J34nB308_p0533a13蓋自金粟至東塔,復自東塔而至南都,以J34nB308_p0533a14及歷楚入蜀,未嘗須臾離本師座下。至本J34nB308_p0533a15師說法萬峰、中慶,仍輔弼多年。嗟乎!茲非J34nB308_p0533a16南嶽之所以事曹谿者哉?故其拈提直捷、J34nB308_p0533a17電激飆馳,不取文字尖新而句意俱到。展J34nB308_p0533a18拓雙桂波瀾,婆心接引,緇素無不歸誠,即J34nB308_p0533a19藩王相國欽仰恐後。七坐道場,聲播遠近,J34nB308_p0533a20且道行皎於冰霜,一絲一粒不偏乎眾,屹J34nB308_p0533a21然中流砥柱,所稱克家之子非耶?師之孫J34nB308_p0533a22西峰聞禪師,來禾鐫師語錄入藏,余焚香J34nB308_p0533a23啟誦,洵末法之金剛利器也。因不敢以無J34nB308_p0533a24知辭,謹拜手而為之序。

J34nB308_p0533c04住重慶府忠州東山龍蟠禪寺
師在中慶首座寮受J34nB308_p0533c05請。
至山頂插標,云:「天為片瓦地為磚,古殿無燈日月J34nB308_p0533c06懸,拄杖橫肩全體露,借吾遯跡到驢年。」
J34nB308_p0533c07據室。「石霜室中橫按隻劍,秘魔巖下擎箇木叉,且山J34nB308_p0533c08僧到來如何施設?」擲拄杖,云:「銅頭鐵額如龍虎,看取J34nB308_p0533c09南山鱉鼻蛇。」
J34nB308_p0533c10護法請開堂。拈疏云:「第一義諦,青山綠水已吐了也。J34nB308_p0533c11擬欲重加偈言,便請維那宣過。」
J34nB308_p0533c12指法座,云:「放出青藜蓋二儀,燈王撾鼓豎降旗;威音J34nB308_p0533c13古調曲初唱,剔起蒼蒼兩道眉。大眾見麼?」遂陞,告香,J34nB308_p0533c14云:「者瓣香,如天普蓋,似地彌擎,奉為J34nB308_p0533c15今上皇帝祝嚴聖壽,萬歲!萬歲!萬萬歲!伏願狼煙息J34nB308_p0533c16而金輪御,耕漁鼓瑟;鵰弓挂而玉燭調,樵牧謳歌。」又J34nB308_p0533c17拈香,云:「者瓣香,葉蔭星辰,位隆盤石之堅;根敷塵剎,J34nB308_p0533c18功濟維城之固。奉為滿朝文武、闔國官僚,伏願同將J34nB308_p0533c19補袞調羹手,撥轉如來正法輪。」又拈香,云:「者瓣香,帶J34nB308_p0533c20雨露而出淵關,六載辛勤,心燈始契;涉吳楚而栖蜀J34nB308_p0533c21水,一朝授受,智印方傳。逢人不是揚家醜,對境深思J34nB308_p0533c22痛棒痕。奉為現住紹祖山中慶禪寺傳臨濟正宗三J34nB308_p0533c23十一世破山大和尚,用酬法乳之恩。惟願生生執巾J34nB308_p0533c24侍缾,世世續燄聯芳。」乃攝衣敷坐。維那白椎,云:「法筵J34nB308_p0533c25龍象眾,當觀第一義。」師喝一喝,云:「優曇缽華時一現J34nB308_p0533c26耳,我本無心有所希求,今此法王大寶自然而至。」豎J34nB308_p0533c27拂子,召眾,云:「會麼?如其會得,優曇缽華時時出現,法J34nB308_p0533c28王大寶人人具足,靈山奧旨洞明,少室真機頓徹,縱J34nB308_p0533c29橫挂域中日月,卷舒立方外乾坤,坐斷毘盧頂,不稟J34nB308_p0533c30釋迦文,拈一莖艸為丈六金身,將丈六金身為一莖J34nB308_p0534a01艸,婢視聲聞,奴呼菩薩,不須覺城東際始見文殊,樓J34nB308_p0534a02閣門開方參慈氏。剎剎須彌,鼓舞全彰玅體;塵塵海J34nB308_p0534a03水,波騰盡闡圓音。瞬目揚眉,播真風之不墜;拈拳豎J34nB308_p0534a04指,振徽猷之莫極。挽回上古宏規,啟鑿人天正眼。得J34nB308_p0534a05大機,顯大用,豁開戶牖,捲幔十虛,擊碎驪龍明月珠,J34nB308_p0534a06敲出鳳凰五色髓。報莫報之恩,為無為之化。拂子頭J34nB308_p0534a07上有如是光明、有如是時節,若有過量大人直下薦J34nB308_p0534a08去,正好龍蟠門下喫棒。大眾且道:是賞?是罰?」乃卓拄J34nB308_p0534a09杖,云:「萬方有道歸皇化,一亙無私賀太平。」
J34nB308_p0534a10上堂。舉:「寶壽開堂,三聖推出一僧,壽便打,聖云:『恁麼J34nB308_p0534a11為人,瞎卻鎮州一城人眼去在。』壽擲下拄杖,歸方丈。」J34nB308_p0534a12師拈云:「三聖坐籌帷幄,退己讓人;者僧身挨白刃,皮J34nB308_p0534a13下無血;寶壽據令而行,龍頭蛇尾。三人雖縱奪可觀,J34nB308_p0534a14未免有得有失。山僧今日開堂,若有人推出一僧,劈J34nB308_p0534a15脊便打,他若云:『恁麼為人,瞎卻西蜀人眼去在。』直打J34nB308_p0534a16教棒折也未放手。何故聻?要救天下人眼去在。是汝J34nB308_p0534a17諸人還知落處麼?」卓拄杖,云:「橫按莫邪全正令,太平J34nB308_p0534a18寰宇斬癡頑。」
J34nB308_p0534a19中慶耑使送法衣至,上堂。僧問:「祝聖開堂即不問,傳J34nB308_p0534a20衣付法事若何?」師云:「大庾嶺頭提不起。」進云:「魚過禹J34nB308_p0534a21門電燒尾,雷霆齊助采聲來。」師云:「雞足山中笑點頭。」J34nB308_p0534a22乃云:「雲霞體上衣,謝是天邊賜,何以荅重恩?當陽只J34nB308_p0534a23一句,且道是那一句?」喝一喝,云:「玉鼎長焚白月團,隨J34nB308_p0534a24風直到巾缾處。」
J34nB308_p0534a25上堂。「宇宙之內有一老人,頭靠五須彌,腳踏四大海,J34nB308_p0534a26簡點微塵經卷,賣弄古佛家風。且道此人有多少春J34nB308_p0534a27秋?還委悉麼?」卓拄杖,云:「劫數芥城終有盡,斯人福壽J34nB308_p0534a28實難窮。」呵呵下座。
J34nB308_p0534a29臘八,上堂。「獨坐少人知,自憐雙眼碧。夜半睹明星,無J34nB308_p0534a30端瞎一隻。三七思惟沒奈何,樹下經行虛歎息。騰今J34nB308_p0534b01耀古累兒孫,箇箇扶籬與摸壁。唯有龍蟠鐵蒺藜,撐J34nB308_p0534b02天拄地無窮極。因齋慶讚釋迦文,當陽對眾亂拋擲。J34nB308_p0534b03木童火裏笑嘻嘻,石女谿邊吹觱篥。告報諸人聞不J34nB308_p0534b04聞?頭上金烏似箭急。今年臘八在茲山,明年不知何J34nB308_p0534b05蹤跡?薦取瞿曇悟底時,摩訶般若波羅密。」
J34nB308_p0534b06上堂。「十五日已前,無位真人擔雪填井;十五日已後J34nB308_p0534b07無位真人持蠡酌海。正當十五日,且道無位真人有J34nB308_p0534b08甚活計?月中丹桂和雲摘,天上瓊華帶雨收。」拍禪床,J34nB308_p0534b09下座。
J34nB308_p0534b10元旦,上堂。「元正啟祚,萬物維新;寶鏡高縣,森羅獻彩。J34nB308_p0534b11惟願皇風永扇,佛日長明;麒麟現而干戈寢,鳳凰出J34nB308_p0534b12而文德修。四海衲僧,吹新法螺、擊新法鼓、拈新拄杖、J34nB308_p0534b13演新法義,其祝昇平。且一氣未分已前又作麼生?數J34nB308_p0534b14聲清磬是非外,一箇閑人天地間。」
J34nB308_p0534b15上堂。問:「為眾陞堂則不問,未出方丈時如何?」師云:「日J34nB308_p0534b16月不走乾坤黑。」乃云:「盡虛空世界,是一面古鏡,百千J34nB308_p0534b17香水海、百千須彌盧,大地、山河、艸木、叢林,若聖、若凡,J34nB308_p0534b18若僧、若俗,若男、若女,若貴、若賤,有情、無情,俱在裏許,J34nB308_p0534b19為甚麼溈山水牯牛影也不見?」良久,云:「顛眠倒臥無J34nB308_p0534b20人識,萬里青天月一鉤。」
J34nB308_p0534b21解制,上堂。「威音已前,高挂缽囊與汝諸人結制;樓至J34nB308_p0534b22已後,拋出艸鞋與汝諸人解制。且道:今日結即是?解J34nB308_p0534b23即是?者裏道得結解分明,龍蟠拄杖子兩手分付,一J34nB308_p0534b24任天下橫行。有麼?有麼?」一僧喝一喝,一僧頓足,師云:J34nB308_p0534b25「恁麼道又爭得?」良久,云:「釣竿斫折重栽竹,不釣金鱗J34nB308_p0534b26誓不休。」喝一喝,下座。
J34nB308_p0534b27結夏,上堂。「世尊掩室於摩竭,文殊三處而度夏。世尊J34nB308_p0534b28全無伎倆,文殊太煞風流。龍蟠總不恁麼,隨處則安,J34nB308_p0534b29遇緣即照。神珠在掌,隨眾色以分輝;寶月當空,逐千J34nB308_p0534b30江而現影。諸仁者!還委悉麼?薰風自南來,殿閣生微J34nB308_p0534c01涼。」復說偈曰:「一瓢將四海,白夏且孤峰,箇事慵饒舌,J34nB308_p0534c02真機嬾犯鋒。添缾攜澗月,枕石賣松風,若問安居法,J34nB308_p0534c03無勞鼓更鼕。」
J34nB308_p0534c04六月一日,上堂。問:「為眾激揚則且置,未出方丈時如J34nB308_p0534c05何?」師云:「竹密不妨流水過。」進云:「既出方丈時如何?」師J34nB308_p0534c06云:「山高豈礙白雲飛?」乃云:「六六六,渾如摩醯首羅目;J34nB308_p0534c07一一一,恰似少林無孔笛。若也會得一六分明,一生J34nB308_p0534c08參學事畢,靈源不昧,萬古徽猷。入此門來,莫存知解。J34nB308_p0534c09一塵不立,鶴臨碧漢;一塵既立,鳳出蒼梧。熱則普天J34nB308_p0534c10熱,寒則普天寒,為甚雪竇道:『茫茫普熱,紛紛下雪。』又J34nB308_p0534c11作麼生?」拍禪床,云:「雲在嶺頭閑不徹,水流澗底太忙J34nB308_p0534c12生。」
J34nB308_p0534c13上堂。「未到龍蟠,有生有死;既到龍蟠,無得無失。且道J34nB308_p0534c14龍蟠有甚奇特?唯有天在上,更無山與齊。」喝一喝,下J34nB308_p0534c15座。
J34nB308_p0534c16解制,上堂。「一結一解,貴覓知音;一縱一擒,唯尋作者。J34nB308_p0534c17九十日束十世界作一微塵,置布袋裏,為圓覺大伽J34nB308_p0534c18藍,安居平等性智,就中護生說法、證道成佛。昨夜孤J34nB308_p0534c19鴈一聲,石枕夢回,解開布袋口,踢倒大伽藍,掀翻世J34nB308_p0534c20界海,智無智可得、生無生可護、法無法可說、佛無佛J34nB308_p0534c21可成,不如一一散去,各逞風流,逢綠作主,隨處即宗。J34nB308_p0534c22且道三千里外逢人一句又作麼生?」喝一喝,下座。
J34nB308_p0534c23住拈華報恩禪寺。三門。云:「芒鞋推地軸,箬笠頂天關。J34nB308_p0534c24擬到福城去,拈華且破顏。」便入。
J34nB308_p0534c25據室。「恁麼也不肯,不恁麼也不肯,直饒道得十成,者J34nB308_p0534c26裏只許一半。」喝一喝,遂起。
J34nB308_p0534c27開堂。拈疏云:「大眾會麼?霞箋寫出言言異,蜀錦描來J34nB308_p0534c28句句奇。」
J34nB308_p0534c29指法座。云:「華座金蓮砌,須彌白玉堆。毘盧無相頂,高J34nB308_p0534c30躋更讓誰?」便陞。拈香,云:「此瓣香,紫煙籠鳳闕,瑞氣遶J34nB308_p0535a01天津,端為祝嚴J34nB308_p0535a02今上皇帝聖壽萬歲,伏願龍圖鞏固,鸞閣彌新,德風J34nB308_p0535a03播堯風而永扇,化日麗舜日以長明。此瓣香,泰山不J34nB308_p0535a04足比其高,止水不足喻其清。奉為諸位勳貴、闔郡縉J34nB308_p0535a05紳,供益檀護,當山請主,伏願現宰官身而說法,霖雨J34nB308_p0535a06剎土;示菩薩相而垂形,月印千江。此瓣香,多子塔前J34nB308_p0535a07分枝奕榦,報恩手裏續燄聯輝,奉為傳臨濟正宗三J34nB308_p0535a08十一世破山大和尚用酬法乳,錯在昔年遭辣手,恨J34nB308_p0535a09從此日尚酸心。」斂衣趺坐。維那白椎,云:「法筵龍象眾,J34nB308_p0535a10當觀第一義。」師云:「若論第一義諦,未白椎已前華擘J34nB308_p0535a11了也。更冀謦欬饒舌,大似掉棒打月,豈堪珍羨?所謂J34nB308_p0535a12向上一路,千聖不傳;學者勞形,如猿捉影。是以世尊J34nB308_p0535a13拈華,百萬人天惟金色頭陀破顏微笑,後來不識好J34nB308_p0535a14惡,尋枝摘葉,引蔓牽藤,絆斷瞎驢腳跟,致令旁觀者J34nB308_p0535a15哂。山僧今日不是壓良為賤、止響揚聲,要汝諸人向J34nB308_p0535a16未白椎已前、未拈華之際,薦取自己迥脫根塵,觀剎J34nB308_p0535a17那際如同遠劫,視十方界如一浮漚,在在恢弘金剛J34nB308_p0535a18正印,處處賣弄古佛家風,眼蓋乾坤,大方獨步。太阿J34nB308_p0535a19在掌,截眾流而一致;寶鏡當空,含萬有以無私。說甚J34nB308_p0535a20一義、二義?直使無量玅義、無邊三昧,到報恩門下瓦J34nB308_p0535a21解水消。汝諸人還委悉麼?」豎拂子,云:「惟憑者箇真消J34nB308_p0535a22息,長與南山祝聖恩。」
J34nB308_p0535a23上堂。問:「唯佛與佛乃能知之,且道知箇甚麼?」師云:「嬾J34nB308_p0535a24牛春碓。」進云:「箇事且置,無位真人即今在什麼處?」師J34nB308_p0535a25云:「跛鱉敲板。」乃云:「山居無事作,杖子被蟲蛀;月下唱J34nB308_p0535a26巴歌,驚起梵王怒。大眾!還會麼?」喝一喝,云:「拾得摩尼J34nB308_p0535a27無價珍,海神知有不知貴。」
J34nB308_p0535a28臘八,上堂。「六年冷坐,幾乎凍殺,不是明星一照,至今J34nB308_p0535a29討甚煖氣?雖然如是,報恩未肯點首在。何故聻?家住J34nB308_p0535a30東州。」卓拄杖,下座。
J34nB308_p0535b01再住龍蟠,上堂。「極目彌天雨雪來,突拈白棒逐風雷;J34nB308_p0535b02陽春幾唱無人和,為覓知音去復回。眾中莫有知音J34nB308_p0535b03者麼?出來接拍。」問:「杖頭一別拈華去,再住龍蟠有甚J34nB308_p0535b04禪?」師云:「艸鞋蹋雪人人見,拄杖敲雲幾箇聞?」進云:「即J34nB308_p0535b05今覿面者誰?」師云:「雪壓能推澗底松,風吹不動天邊J34nB308_p0535b06月。」乃云:「天為片瓦,地為一磚,既無心於彼此,何有相J34nB308_p0535b07於去來?如是在彼在此,玄機獨露;一去一來,真風永J34nB308_p0535b08播。所謂從無住本,流出萬端;興無緣慈,遍遊剎海。如J34nB308_p0535b09洪鐘之待扣,似空谷以傳聲。扇子𨁝跳上三十三天,J34nB308_p0535b10築著帝釋鼻孔;東海鯉魚打一棒,雨似盆傾。在在普J34nB308_p0535b11賢樓閣,處處文殊境界。且道即今住拈華是?住龍蟠J34nB308_p0535b12是?者裏見得,山僧分與半院。」一僧喝一喝,師云:「蝦跳J34nB308_p0535b13不出斗。」一僧擎拳,師云:「倚墻靠壁漢,不如山僧自道J34nB308_p0535b14去也。」以拄杖空中點一點,云:「大千歸一色,盡在玉毫J34nB308_p0535b15中。」
住忠州楞伽山玉峰禪寺
J34nB308_p0535b17方丈。云:「入此室,據此座,去其黏,解其縛,抽腦後釘,拔J34nB308_p0535b18眼中楔。且道是何心行?擬作江邊垂釣叟,蘆華暗折J34nB308_p0535b19妒霜枝。」
J34nB308_p0535b20開堂。拈疏示眾,云:「此是震大千沙界法鼓,催佛祖出J34nB308_p0535b21世號令。且令行一句作麼生道?」喝一喝,云:「墨占巨鼇J34nB308_p0535b22彩,毫吞四海雲。」
J34nB308_p0535b23指法座。云:「華王寶座,毘盧頂上,即今高登,是何境界?」J34nB308_p0535b24以拄杖畫○,云:「萬里無雲日上時。」便陞,拈香,云:「此瓣J34nB308_p0535b25香,天無私蓋,地無私載,奉為J34nB308_p0535b26北闕之至尊,仰祝南山之聖壽,伏願鵰弓已挂狼煙J34nB308_p0535b27息,寶祚時登鳳閣新。此瓣香,奉為滿朝文武、闔郡尊J34nB308_p0535b28官、當山請主、汝止高公,伏願護法宛如裴相國,聲名J34nB308_p0535b29奕世等三蘇。此瓣香,萬峰頂上得來,親蒙印可,三回J34nB308_p0535b30爐中拈出,不敢孤負,奉為現住萬峰山太平禪院破J34nB308_p0535c01山大和尚,用酬法乳,伏願不捨折蘆之手,根重神州J34nB308_p0535c02之器。」斂衣趺坐,上首白椎,云:「法筵龍象眾,當觀第一J34nB308_p0535c03義。」師云:「漁翁乘興趁風來,龍竹鳳絲坐釣臺,無限金J34nB308_p0535c04鱗隨餌上,禹門天迥雪濤開。」僧纔出,師云:「來也。」僧云:J34nB308_p0535c05「萬物咸新即不問,玉峰開堂事若何?」師云:「自從鷲嶺J34nB308_p0535c06分燈後,直至支那耀古今。」進云:「昔日裴相,今朝高公,J34nB308_p0535c07是同?是別?」師云:「一箇鼻頭,兩孔出氣。」進云:「恁麼則動J34nB308_p0535c08容揚古路,不墮悄然機。」師云:「路逢劍客須呈劍,不是J34nB308_p0535c09詩人不獻詩。」問:「如何是曹谿正脈?」師云:「有眼拄杖敲J34nB308_p0535c10日月,無星秤子稱山河。」僧禮拜,師乃云:「楞伽挺秀,千J34nB308_p0535c11聖凝眸;玉峰騰輝,萬機圓照。恢豁人天正眼,激揚少J34nB308_p0535c12室宗猷;月明簾外翻身,荊棘林中著腳。扣洪鐘於熙J34nB308_p0535c13時,沙界咸聞;豎寶幢於金地,大千俱矚。有時掉臂霧J34nB308_p0535c14起,有時謦欬風生;大中現小,小中現大;南贍部洲走J34nB308_p0535c15馬,北鬱單越行船。古帆未挂,彼岸先登;獅琴既振,山J34nB308_p0535c16河作舞。是以動靜一如,去來一揆。鍼鋒頭上倒卓須J34nB308_p0535c17彌,眉毛罅裏全傾海水。其向上也,德山、臨濟口呿;其J34nB308_p0535c18向下也,燈籠、露柱生兒。如斯薦得,尚落階梯,擬更沉J34nB308_p0535c19吟,白雲萬里。」復舉:「裴相國一日捧一尊像,胡跪黃檗J34nB308_p0535c20之前,云:『請師安名。』檗喚:『裴休。』休應諾,檗云:『與汝安名J34nB308_p0535c21竟。』休便禮拜。」師云:「裴相有補袞之手,黃檗具陷虎之J34nB308_p0535c22機,二人相見,如水合水、似鏡對鏡,所謂大人具大智,J34nB308_p0535c23大智具大用。若論恁麼事,須是恁麼人;若是恁麼人,J34nB308_p0535c24不愁恁麼事。且今日玉峰祝聖開堂一句作麼生道?」J34nB308_p0535c25拈拄杖,云:「惟憑者箇荷春力,仰祝吾皇億萬年。」
J34nB308_p0535c26上堂。「明明百艸頭,明明祖師意。古人恁麼道,只道得J34nB308_p0535c27一半。山僧則不然。」拈拄杖云:「明明拄杖頭,明明祖師J34nB308_p0535c28意。且道與古人是同?是別?簡點得出,祖師在你腳跟J34nB308_p0535c29下;苟或未然,更聽一偈:『百艸西來旨,杖頭祖意真。迷J34nB308_p0535c30時雖不遠,悟後始相親。蓮綻水河燄,華開鐵樹春。諸J34nB308_p0536a01禪須著眼,識取本來人。』」
J34nB308_p0536a02上堂。問:「未問話已前時如何?」師拈拄杖云:「會麼?」僧拂J34nB308_p0536a03袖歸位。師卓拄杖云:「一擊響玲瓏,喧轟宇宙中。只緣J34nB308_p0536a04聲徹處,識取主人翁。泥牛耕水月,木馬趁清風。撞著J34nB308_p0536a05玉麒麟,三箇鬧叢叢。且道鬧箇甚麼?金鐘撞處百華J34nB308_p0536a06開,妙果圓時福自隆。」
J34nB308_p0536a07上堂。問:「法身無相,法眼無瑕,作麼生彰顯?」師驀頭一J34nB308_p0536a08棒,云:「法身無相,而今現形。」舉拄杖,云:「是諸仁者!通身J34nB308_p0536a09是眼,還見得分明麼?見得分明,眉毛上有釋迦,耳孔J34nB308_p0536a10裏有彌勒;苟或未然……」擲拄杖,云:「天共白雲曉,水和明J34nB308_p0536a11月流。」
J34nB308_p0536a12上堂。問:「如何是致理一言?」師默然。進云:「致理無言時J34nB308_p0536a13如何?」師云:「馬駝貝葉不持經。」乃云:「一般春色醉東風,J34nB308_p0536a14濃淡青黃自不同。拈向杖頭開正眼,直教箇箇盡成J34nB308_p0536a15龍。如是,一切聲是佛聲,一切色是佛色。柳眼谿邊窺J34nB308_p0536a16水中之幻泡,桃唇陌上笑鏡裏之韶光。一雨一雲原J34nB308_p0536a17無所私,根莖枝葉各成大小。泥多佛大,水漲船高,試J34nB308_p0536a18問賓頭盧尊者善應四天下供,今日普公設齋,尊者J34nB308_p0536a19還來也無?」良久,卓拄杖,喝一喝,下座。
J34nB308_p0536a20上堂。問:「紅爐燦燦鐵華飛時如何?」師云:「非君境界。」進J34nB308_p0536a21云:「秖如橫身踊躍者又作麼生?」師云:「腳跟下好與三J34nB308_p0536a22十棒。」問:「如何是春景?」師云:「雪嶂雲同色,松風海共濤。」J34nB308_p0536a23進云:「秖如不與萬法為侶者,是甚麼人?」師云:「朝聽上J34nB308_p0536a24灘鼓,暮聞澗下鐘。」乃云:「睢鳩關關,燕語喃喃。山華似J34nB308_p0536a25錦,澗水如藍。咄!欲明者箇意,莫將聲色參。如斯薦得,J34nB308_p0536a26即見紹宇梁居士,父母未生已前面目宛然;父母既J34nB308_p0536a27生後,佛眼覷不透。銀碗盛雪、銅盆盛油。南山起雲北J34nB308_p0536a28山雨,張公喫酒李公醉。十世古今不離當念,無邊剎J34nB308_p0536a29海不隔毫端。凡夫舉措、聖賢步驟,鶖子、目連共一鼻J34nB308_p0536a30孔。且酬恩一句作麼生道?」卓拄杖,云:「斑衣不舞因齋J34nB308_p0536b01蚤,獨借杖頭報乳慈。」
J34nB308_p0536b02檀越送法帔至,上堂。問:「如何是玉峰境?」師云:「二僊描J34nB308_p0536b03不就。」進云:「如何是境中人?」師云:「峰頂興隨丹鶴去,松J34nB308_p0536b04間倦引白雲歸。」問:「如何是西來大意?」師云:「摩尼映五J34nB308_p0536b05色。」僧禮拜,師便打,乃云:「心從境有,境向心生;心境相J34nB308_p0536b06彰,如鏡中像。金鍼暗繡,雲裏鴛鴦展翅;玉線明牽,林J34nB308_p0536b07間獅子回頭。如是種種色相、種種音聲、種種光明、種J34nB308_p0536b08種三昧,無一法不周、無一法不具。如天普蓋、似地普J34nB308_p0536b09擎,截瓊枝寸寸是寶、析栴檀片片皆香。因中萬德莊J34nB308_p0536b10嚴、果中萬福受用。」以拄杖指法帔,云:「大眾會麼?吳綾J34nB308_p0536b11剪就天華彩,蜀錦描成佛國春。」
J34nB308_p0536b12上堂。「十方同聚會,箇箇學無為;此是選佛場,心空及J34nB308_p0536b13第歸。龐居士恁麼道,山僧則不然,十方聚會路無差,J34nB308_p0536b14箇箇心開智慧華,及第心空遊竹院,大家同飲趙州J34nB308_p0536b15茶。」
J34nB308_p0536b16追嚴,上堂。問:「翠色森森,鳥語滑滑,且道是聲?是色?」師J34nB308_p0536b17連打兩棒。進云:「不落聲色時如何?」師震威一喝,乃云:J34nB308_p0536b18「日日登堂,時時說法,搖三寸舌,簸兩片皮,多說不如J34nB308_p0536b19少說,少說不如不說。所以,摩竭掩室,毘耶杜詞。雖然J34nB308_p0536b20如是,官不容鍼,私通車馬。教中道:『寶所在近。』試問諸J34nB308_p0536b21人:如何是寶所?若知寶所去處,即知父母生身去處;J34nB308_p0536b22若知父母生身去處,即知三世諸佛生身去處;若知J34nB308_p0536b23三世諸佛生身去處,即知自己生身去處。佛恩、親恩,J34nB308_p0536b24一時報畢。苟或未然,更聽一偈:『寶所尚無心駐棹,化J34nB308_p0536b25城豈肯意停橈?欲知父母生身處,倒跨泥牛上碧霄。』」J34nB308_p0536b26呵呵下座。
J34nB308_p0536b27上堂。云:「昨夜夢梵書,嘛呢叭𠺗吽;今日不覆藏,分明J34nB308_p0536b28告諸眾。會即便會去,不會試把華言更拈弄。」舉:「那吒J34nB308_p0536b29太子柝骨還父、割肉還母,然後現本身而為父母說J34nB308_p0536b30法,是謂之至孝也。烏知百劫之下更有超其上者?今J34nB308_p0536c01鴻羽張居士,也不柝骨還父、也不割肉還母、也不現J34nB308_p0536c02本身而為說法,秖破慳囊,躬詣玉峰,揮金設供,齋諸J34nB308_p0536c03梵眾,獨借山僧拄杖頭而為說法,全體未曾生、全體J34nB308_p0536c04未曾滅、全體未曾來、全體未曾去,如是即五濁而趨J34nB308_p0536c05淨域,居煩惱而證菩提。且超脫一句作麼生道?漫捉J34nB308_p0536c06虛空缾內貯,光明不定走盤珠。」拍禪床,下座。
J34nB308_p0536c07本山勤舊靜、素二公忌日,請上堂。「標榜山門壯佛居,J34nB308_p0536c08須栽松柏萬千株。拈鋤道者今何在?笑指蒼蒼拂太J34nB308_p0536c09虛。」舉:「僧問趙州:『如何是祖師西來意?』州云:『庭前柏樹J34nB308_p0536c10子。』僧云:『和尚莫將境示人。』州云:『我不將境示人。』僧云:J34nB308_p0536c11『如何是祖師西來意?』州云:『庭前柏樹子。』大眾!試簡點J34nB308_p0536c12看。簡點得出,即知靜、素二公在松柏枝頭相見,談不J34nB308_p0536c13遷義,把臂與趙州古佛同起、同行、同坐、同臥,縱有西J34nB308_p0536c14來大意,向何處安著?」豎拂子,云:「當處不離常湛寂,山J34nB308_p0536c15頭松柏笑呵呵。」
J34nB308_p0536c16上堂。云:「宗乘舉唱,十地魂驚;正眼纔張,三賢膽顫。毛J34nB308_p0536c17吞巨海、芥納須彌底人猶落下風,且向上一句又作J34nB308_p0536c18麼生?」拈拄杖,云:「自是不歸歸便得,五湖煙景有誰爭?」
J34nB308_p0536c19上堂。云:「迦葉波見世尊拈華契機而破顏微笑,須菩J34nB308_p0536c20提見世尊談經解旨而涕淚悲哭。大眾!二大師一笑J34nB308_p0536c21一哭,未免各見一邊。山僧特與頌出:『有時笑,有時哭J34nB308_p0536c22七星斜映揮魔窟。一箭雙鵰落碧空,六六依然三十J34nB308_p0536c23六。』」卓拄杖,云:「咄!」
J34nB308_p0536c24上堂。云:「兔角杖,龜毛拂,有時顛拈倒弄,有時倒弄顛J34nB308_p0536c25拈;疑殺天下人,悟殺天下人。十字街頭有彌勒,四衢J34nB308_p0536c26道中有釋迦,汝諸人還逢著也無?如其逢著,靈山一J34nB308_p0536c27會儼然未散,即見應寰居士父母已在世尊前聽受J34nB308_p0536c28一切法不生、一切法不滅。且末後一句作麼生道?」擲J34nB308_p0536c29拄杖,云:「向下文長,付在來日。」
J34nB308_p0536c30上堂。云:「壁立千尋難湊泊,銅頭鐵額漫勞猜。桃紅李J34nB308_p0537a01白真慈氏,笑指南詢有善財。大眾!還見善財麼?」卓拄J34nB308_p0537a02杖,喝一喝,下座。
J34nB308_p0537a03上堂。云:「春色濃如黛,鶯聲語欲流。分明宣祖意,何用J34nB308_p0537a04別馳求?如斯薦得,人人本源彌綸萬有;箇箇妙體逼J34nB308_p0537a05塞虛空。且道:山河大地向何處安著?昨夜木人曾報J34nB308_p0537a06言:『彌勒收歸布袋裏。』且本源妙體在布袋裏?不在布J34nB308_p0537a07袋裏?」參!
J34nB308_p0537a08上堂。云:「秖箇心心心是佛,十方世界最靈物。」拈拄杖,J34nB308_p0537a09云:「者箇是拄杖子。如何是心?知其心,即知其佛;知其J34nB308_p0537a10佛,即知自己;知其自己,即知心、佛、眾生三無差別。拈J34nB308_p0537a11一莖艸為丈六金身,將丈六金身為一莖艸;即無明J34nB308_p0537a12而證種智,居凡軀而登聖位。大眾!且道必竟如何是J34nB308_p0537a13心?」以拄杖畫○,云:「不遇春風華不開,華開須藉春風J34nB308_p0537a14力。」
J34nB308_p0537a15上堂。云:「五五二十五,打開寶藏庫;撒出無價珍,供養J34nB308_p0537a16無數佛。且道:誰是供養者?誰受供養者?咄!因憶謝三J34nB308_p0537a17郎,月下自搖艣。」
J34nB308_p0537a18上堂。云:「春和三月裏,風暖碧桃開。玄沙道未徹,靈雲J34nB308_p0537a19不更猜。如是,萬法若無,普賢失其境界;一法若有,毘J34nB308_p0537a20盧墮在凡夫。一法且置,毘盧遮那即今在甚麼處?」時J34nB308_p0537a21西堂喝一喝,師云:「百億身分百億剎,一華端有一如J34nB308_p0537a22來。」
J34nB308_p0537a23上堂。云:「天晴日頭出,歸禽易見巢。雨落地下溼,過蟻J34nB308_p0537a24難尋穴。直得半陰半晴,未免三頭兩面。百丈野鴨、玄J34nB308_p0537a25沙見虎、趙州喫茶、禾山打鼓,者四老漢施設門中略J34nB308_p0537a26較些子。若論向上提持,山僧未敢相許。為甚不相許?J34nB308_p0537a27貪觀天上月,失卻手中橈。」
J34nB308_p0537a28解制,上堂。「鐵笛橫吹出大方,胡笳韻合愧風狂。十期J34nB308_p0537a29杖擊巫山雨,七處華拈蜀水香。栗棘藍中拋未盡,龍J34nB308_p0537a30蛇腳底蹋空長。絲綸罷釣波心月,毒鼓三撾作戰場。」J34nB308_p0537b01卓拄杖,云:「大眾!還見麼?」時一眾齊下喝,師云:「鼕鼕鼕。」
J34nB308_p0537b02住婺川西禪寺,邑侯鄭公請開堂。拈疏示眾,云:「靈山J34nB308_p0537b03奧旨、祖域玄機盡在箇裏,便請維那剖露。」
J34nB308_p0537b04指法座,云:「巍巍卓卓,坐斷十方,要登便登,不禮燈王。」J34nB308_p0537b05遂陞,拈香云:「此瓣香奉為J34nB308_p0537b06今上皇帝祝嚴聖壽萬歲萬歲萬萬歲,此瓣香奉為J34nB308_p0537b07邑侯鄭公在位尊官,此瓣香昔年酬價龍蟠,不敢被J34nB308_p0537b08蓋囊藏,如今海眾要知,未免重新舉揚,奉為現住萬J34nB308_p0537b09峰山太平禪院破山大和尚,用酬法乳。」斂衣趺坐,上J34nB308_p0537b10首白椎云:「法筵龍象眾,當觀第一義。」問:「拈香祝聖即J34nB308_p0537b11不問,波羅山點頭時如何?」師云:「有眼莫鑒。」僧喝,師便J34nB308_p0537b12打,乃云:「靈機迥峻,在處舉揚。智寶圓明,隨方顯露。」拈J34nB308_p0537b13拄杖云:「大眾會麼?世尊不說說,迦葉不聞聞,天曉起J34nB308_p0537b14來門正啟,誰家灶裏火無煙?雪峰道:『盡十方世界如J34nB308_p0537b15粟米粒大;拋向面前,漆桶不快。』神光三拜而得髓,趙J34nB308_p0537b16州八十猶行腳;所謂若論箇中事,須是箇中人;若是J34nB308_p0537b17箇中人,不愁箇中事。我此現前四眾,箇箇鼻孔遼天;J34nB308_p0537b18人人腳跟點地,向上一著,無勞指似。」復舉東坡居士J34nB308_p0537b19偈云:「谿聲盡是廣長舌,山色無非清淨身;夜來八萬J34nB308_p0537b20四千偈,他日如何舉似人?」師云:「東坡此偈,古今獨唱,J34nB308_p0537b21可謂陽春白雪,爭奈把三世諸佛埋沒在聲色堆裏,J34nB308_p0537b22至今無人救得。山僧恁麼品論,莫有與東坡出氣者J34nB308_p0537b23麼?」卓拄杖云:「一把柳絲收不得,和煙搭在玉闌干。」
J34nB308_p0537b24開爐,上堂。「法無邊際,緣會而彰;心無彼此,投機而應。J34nB308_p0537b25其把住也,黃金掩耀;其放行也,瓦礫生輝。若向者裏J34nB308_p0537b26會得,聚寶峰微笑、波羅山點頭;脫或未然,不免旁通J34nB308_p0537b27一線去也。」舉:「百丈與溈山圍爐次,百丈命溈山撥火,J34nB308_p0537b28山撥之無火,丈躬起自撥得一星火,語溈云:『你道無,J34nB308_p0537b29者箇聻?』溈從此悟去。」師云:「溈山不得百丈,幾乎凍殺;J34nB308_p0537b30百丈不得溈山,勞而無功。雖然,父子名邁古今,總被J34nB308_p0537c01者一星火燒卻。」以拄杖吹一吹,云:「大眾會麼?照顧眉J34nB308_p0537c02毛。」頌曰:「雪壓隆冬品類枯,寒來父子偶圍爐;火星迸J34nB308_p0537c03出通身煖,勝喫曹山酒一壺。」
J34nB308_p0537c04孝臣龔居士請上堂。「昔日龐居士,逃禪入翠微;西江J34nB308_p0537c05一口吸,透徹祖師機。且如何是祖師機?莫是揚眉瞬J34nB308_p0537c06目是祖師機麼?料掉沒交涉。莫是拈拳豎指是祖師J34nB308_p0537c07機麼?料掉沒交涉。莫是擎叉輥毬是祖師機麼?料掉J34nB308_p0537c08沒交涉。莫是雀噪鴉鳴是祖師機麼?料掉沒交涉。莫J34nB308_p0537c09是翠竹黃華是祖師機麼?料掉沒交涉。既都盧沒交J34nB308_p0537c10涉,畢竟如何是祖師機?」良久,拈拄杖喝一喝,云:「祇園J34nB308_p0537c11屈曲泉流急,鷲嶺巍峨月上遲。」
J34nB308_p0537c12陞寰李居士請上堂。「父母未生前,鼻孔遼天;父母既J34nB308_p0537c13生後,腳跟點地。大丈夫漢㘞地一聲,直得南贍部洲J34nB308_p0537c14種樹、北俱盧洲結果、東勝神洲撞鐘、西牛賀洲擊鼓;J34nB308_p0537c15不是神通妙用,亦非法爾如然。直下會去,猶較些子;J34nB308_p0537c16脫或未然,一片白雲橫谷口,幾多歸鳥盡迷巢?」
J34nB308_p0537c17慧菴老宿請上堂。舉:「應菴問密菴云:『如何是法眼?』密J34nB308_p0537c18云:『破沙盆。』應頷之。」師云:「破沙盆尋常颺在糞掃堆頭,J34nB308_p0537c19為甚二祖寶之?雖然,也是饑逢王膳,渴遇甘泉。若是J34nB308_p0537c20正法眼,未夢見在。西禪恁麼品論,還有與二祖出氣J34nB308_p0537c21者麼?」以拂子擊禪床,云:「珊瑚桃上兩行淚,半是思君J34nB308_p0537c22半恨君。」
J34nB308_p0537c23上堂。云:「寒霜凋百卉,梅榦發新芽;底事分明極,何須J34nB308_p0537c24鼓更撾?金牛喫飯,趙州飲茶;德山用棒,秘魔擎叉,者J34nB308_p0537c25一隊老凍膿也是勾賊破家。且道西禪又作麼生?」拍J34nB308_p0537c26膝,云:「者裏親薦得,鐵樹也開華。」復舉:「世尊陞座,文殊J34nB308_p0537c27白椎,世尊便下座。文殊云:『諦觀法王法,法王法如是。』」J34nB308_p0537c28拈云:「大小世尊性命在別人手裏,試聽一頌:『淡妝濃J34nB308_p0537c29抹打鞦韆,擬欲高高唱哩連;無奈東君漏泄盡,許多J34nB308_p0537c30清怨落誰邊?』」
J34nB308_p0538a01元旦,上堂。拈拄杖,云:「天得一以清,地得一以寧。元正J34nB308_p0538a02啟祚,萬物咸新。村歌社舞,佛法分明。無事衲僧,願祝J34nB308_p0538a03昇平。」卓拄杖,下座。
J34nB308_p0538a04解制,上堂。「說心說性,入海算沙;舉古舉今,波中捉月。J34nB308_p0538a05德山用棒,臨濟用喝;雖是好心,究竟大錯。且道西禪J34nB308_p0538a06今日解制又作麼生指示?」拍禪床,云:「路逢達道人,莫J34nB308_p0538a07將語默對。」
