即日霍丘固始兩郡緇素檀那請開堂拈疏:「靈山J28nB203_p0166a15奧旨少室真宗一一顯露分明須知盡從這裏流出J28nB203_p0166a16如其會得不消重說偈言脫或未委輒煩表白重為J28nB203_p0166a17宣讀。」宣畢J28nB203_p0166a18法座:「此名寶華王座先聖據之說黃道白指東畫J28nB203_p0166a19西惑亂人未有了日即今變作一塊良田喜上座便J28nB203_p0166a20乃披毛戴角拖犁拽耙於中耕雲種月去也還見麼?」J28nB203_p0166a21便陞拈香:「此一瓣香端為J28nB203_p0166a22支那帝主北闕至尊爇向爐中祝延聖躬萬安恭願J28nB203_p0166a23心燈了了而常光佛日慧炬煌煌而永燭堯天。」次拈J28nB203_p0166a24:「此一瓣香奉為滿朝文武天下官僚伏願永作皇J28nB203_p0166a25家之柱石恒為佛法之金湯并及當山請主護法檀J28nB203_p0166a26列剎耆舊現前大眾世世不忘般若之真因生生J28nB203_p0166a27徹證金剛之種智。」又拈云:「此一瓣香混融三際含裹J28nB203_p0166a28十虛二十撥艸瞻風後到天台峰頂禮見箇不近J28nB203_p0166a29人情老尊宿直與一鎚擊碎因茲痛恨難忘今對人J28nB203_p0166a30天眾前拈出奉為現住浙江寧波府天童堂上傳臨J28nB203_p0166b01濟正宗第三十一代J28nB203_p0166b02本師林野大和尚爇向爐中用酬法乳之恩。」衣就J28nB203_p0166b03陽山慧大師白椎云:「法筵龍象眾當觀第一義。」J28nB203_p0166b04:「單提向上巴鼻凡聖莫測其源而況第一義空向J28nB203_p0166b05甚麼處著眼如有解觀者不妨眨上眉毛出來相見。」

復舉:「寶壽開堂日三聖推出一僧J28nB203_p0166b25便打聖云:『恁麼為人瞎卻鎮州一城人眼去在。』壽擲J28nB203_p0166b26下拄杖歸方丈。」師云:「這二大老一挨一拶一抑一揚J28nB203_p0166b27可謂揭示當人正法眼藏發揮從上佛祖家風若或J28nB203_p0166b28放過則彼此作家簡點將來猶欠一著山僧今日開J28nB203_p0166b29或有推出一僧便乃一并打出法堂不惟使他直J28nB203_p0166b30下知恩貴與人天作箇眼目。」卓拄杖一下白椎云:「J28nB203_p0166c01觀法王法法王法如是。」下座

當晚小參驀拈拄杖卓一卓:「無孔銕鎚覿面拋J28nB203_p0166c03驚魔伏鬼哮啕庭前露柱纔偷覷萬象森羅痛遭J28nB203_p0166c04所以道若論此事如擊石火似閃電光搆得搆不得J28nB203_p0166c05俱未免喪身失命雖然如是且轉身吐氣一句又作J28nB203_p0166c06麼生道到頭霜夜月任運落前溪。」

開爐小參。「結卻袋口收拾闌殘三條椽下七尺單前J28nB203_p0166c08不容學道豈許參禪饑餐渴飲閒坐困眠風頭稍硬J28nB203_p0166c09爐火禦寒隨緣自在放曠翛然是即是。」驀豎拂子J28nB203_p0166c10秪如這箇喚作拂子則觸不喚作拂子則背不觸J28nB203_p0166c11畢竟喚作甚麼?」良久:「覿面相呈如不會且從放J28nB203_p0166c12待冷來看。」擲拂子下座

開爐上堂。「寒則普天匝地寒熱則普天匝地熱雖則J28nB203_p0166c14寒暑遷流當體本無生滅是以丹霞燒木佛燎卻院J28nB203_p0166c15主鬚眉移花兼蝶至百丈躬身撥火突出溈山眼睛J28nB203_p0166c16買石得雲饒山僧今將盡十方世界為一火爐以四J28nB203_p0166c17聖六凡作柴炭。」遂拈拂子吹一吹:「秪憑這星子J28nB203_p0166c18昧火猛發烈焰亙天不容進前退後卓立躊躇汝等J28nB203_p0166c19諸人作麼生得箇出身之路?」以左手拍禪床復舉:「J28nB203_p0166c20州示眾云:『我向南方行腳火爐頭有箇無賓主句J28nB203_p0166c21至如今無人舉著。』」師乃召大眾:「還會麼若會得J28nB203_p0166c22州老漢無地容身其或未然不免重下註腳。『我向行J28nB203_p0166c23腳南方火爐頭有箇無賓主句』,也是貧兒思舊債;『J28nB203_p0166c24至如今無人舉著』,切忌揚聲止響普濟恁麼批判J28nB203_p0166c25有為趙州作主底麼?」

晚參。「加工益行枉興兔角之樊籠絕學無為徒解龜J28nB203_p0166c27毛之繫縛赤身擔荷早涉程途脫體承當翻成鈍置J28nB203_p0166c28大別山高芙蓉山低猶落時人窠臼直須放出溈山J28nB203_p0166c29水牯觸殺臨濟瞎驢方能經天緯地玉轉珠回何故J28nB203_p0166c30無滯自然隨水去有聲多為不平來。」

示眾:「趙州云:『若從南方來者我這裏為伊下載J28nB203_p0167a02從北方來者我這裏為伊上載。』」師云:「山僧即不然J28nB203_p0167a03從南方來者普濟為伊上載若從北方來者普濟為J28nB203_p0167a04伊下載因甚如此不見道多處添些子少處減些子。』」

上堂:「忠國師因丹霞來參纔展坐具國師云:『不用J28nB203_p0167a06不用。』霞退後三步國師云:『如是如是。』霞進前三步J28nB203_p0167a07師云:『不是不是。』霞繞禪床一匝出去國師云:『去聖時J28nB203_p0167a08人多懈怠三十求箇漢也難得。』」師云:「諸方盡J28nB203_p0167a09謂此二老有六韜三略之才具武緯文經之作仔細J28nB203_p0167a10簡點將來總沒交涉殊不知丹霞被國師舌頭謾J28nB203_p0167a11師隨丹霞腳跟轉若到普濟這裏各與三十拄杖J28nB203_p0167a12蚌鷸相持俱落漁人之手。」

上堂。「破糞箕禿苕帚臥月眠雲乾屎橛死貓頭超今J28nB203_p0167a14越古恁麼舉唱是汝諸人還簡點得出麼如簡點得J28nB203_p0167a15山僧生陷無間地獄脫或未然雪峰輥毬玄沙汝J28nB203_p0167a16。」復舉:「修山主云:『是柱不見柱非柱不見柱是非J28nB203_p0167a17去了是非裏薦取。』」師云:「釣魚放生。」下座

師一日牽一頭驢上堂示眾云:「即今有箇現成公案J28nB203_p0167a19拈來問汝諸人若道得一轉語與山僧相契拄杖J28nB203_p0167a20子兩手分付。」遂抬腳:「我腳何似驢腳?」復舉手:「J28nB203_p0167a21手何似佛手?」又云:「人人有箇生緣上座生緣在甚麼J28nB203_p0167a22?」眾下語皆不契師代我腳何似驢腳處云:「但禮拜。」J28nB203_p0167a23我手何似佛手:「但禮拜。」師代上座生緣在甚J28nB203_p0167a24:「便騎驢去喫艸更與頌出頌云我手何似佛手J28nB203_p0167a25展縮拈提本有庭前露柱呵呵蟭螟吞卻北斗我腳J28nB203_p0167a26何似驢腳玄沙嶺頭築著纔方擬議思量鷂子新羅J28nB203_p0167a27人人有箇生緣晨昏舉止茫然不是將心特地J28nB203_p0167a28秪因要喫要穿。」復云:「。」

冬至小參:「日往月來光陰何倏忽炎涼寒暑節令J28nB203_p0167a30不相饒時逢道啟元陽景開南路魯臺書五雲之篆J28nB203_p0167b01漢殿添一線之長石霜揭榜文於堂上爻象分明J28nB203_p0167b02山掇果桌於筵中彖辭難決普濟也要應箇時節。」J28nB203_p0167b03拂子作圓相復擊禪床:「將楊岐金剛圈栗棘蓬一J28nB203_p0167b04并拈出汝諸人還吞跳得麼若吞跳得不妨群陰剝J28nB203_p0167b05若吞跳不得依舊一陽復生。」乃舉:「僧問古德:『如何J28nB203_p0167b06是冬來意?』德云:『京師出大黃。』」師云:「古德雖有風馳電J28nB203_p0167b07卷之威石裂岩崩之作要且不能使這僧點首今夜J28nB203_p0167b08或有問:『如何是冬來意?』山僧只向伊道:『印破虛空千J28nB203_p0167b09丈月洗清天地一林霜。』」

晚參僧問:「普濟家風即不問如何是春來景?」師云:「J28nB203_p0167b11暖睡鴛鴦。」進云:「恁麼則日月光天德山河壯帝居去J28nB203_p0167b12。」師云:「非公境界。」乃舉:「大慈示眾云:『說得一丈不如J28nB203_p0167b13行取一尺說得一尺不如行取一寸。』洞山云:『說取行J28nB203_p0167b14不得底行取說不得底。』雲居云:『行時無說路說時無J28nB203_p0167b15行路不說不行時合行甚麼路?』洛浦云:『行說俱到即J28nB203_p0167b16本分事無行說俱不到即本分事在。』」師拈云:「這幾尊J28nB203_p0167b17宿雖則各明本地風光共指當人要路若據本分事J28nB203_p0167b18俱未夢見在普濟見處也要諸人共知饑時餐渴時J28nB203_p0167b19閒時坐困時眠且道是何意旨雲在嶺頭閒不徹J28nB203_p0167b20水流澗底太忙生。」

佛成道日上堂拈拄杖:「釋迦世尊睹明星而悟J28nB203_p0167b22悟得這箇。」復卓一卓:「眾生處塵勞而迷只迷得這J28nB203_p0167b23拈卻迷悟兩頭坐斷凡聖窠臼直得上無攀仰J28nB203_p0167b24淨裸裸赤灑灑無得無失無是無非。」驀呈拄J28nB203_p0167b25:「且道這箇是甚麼有時閒把出門去扶我歸來J28nB203_p0167b26靠壁東。」下座

晚參:「黃檗禪師一日在鹽官佛殿上禮拜次時唐J28nB203_p0167b28宣宗為沙彌乃問云:『不著佛求不著法求不著僧求J28nB203_p0167b29長老禮拜當何所求?』檗云:『不著佛求不著法求不著J28nB203_p0167b30僧求常禮如是事。』彌云:『用禮何為?』檗便掌彌云:『大麤J28nB203_p0167c01。』檗云:『這裏是甚麼所在說麤說細?』隨後復掌沙彌J28nB203_p0167c02便走。」師拈云:「黃檗禪師雖則臨機大用現前覿面全J28nB203_p0167c03提迥絕且不知鼻孔落在大唐天子手裏何故聻J28nB203_p0167c04雲橫海上拔劍攪龍門。」

示眾。「吾遠祖會和尚初住楊岐老屋敗椽僅蔽風雨J28nB203_p0167c06適臨冬莫雪霰滿床居處不遑衲子投誠願充修造J28nB203_p0167c07會祖卻之曰:『我佛有言:「時當減劫高岸深谷遷變不J28nB203_p0167c08安得圓滿如意自求稱足?」汝輩出家學道整頓J28nB203_p0167c09腳未穩是四五十歲矣詎有閒工夫事豐屋耶?』J28nB203_p0167c10不從翌日上堂:『楊岐乍住屋壁疏滿床盡撒雪珍J28nB203_p0167c11縮卻項暗嗟吁翻億古人樹下居。』先德恁麼可謂J28nB203_p0167c12不以飽煖適意切將此道為尊山僧方住普濟破院J28nB203_p0167c13料理未妥夜來遭一陣猛風盡底掀翻亦成一偈J28nB203_p0167c14來普示大眾。」乃云:「別山方住半餘收拾茅廬尚未J28nB203_p0167c15忽被狂風俱捲卻禪床欹枕見青天寬著肚謾J28nB203_p0167c16緣逆順安危總一般。」

上堂:「玄沙示眾云:『諸方盡道接物利生忽遇三種J28nB203_p0167c18病人來且作麼生接患盲者拈椎豎拂他又不見J28nB203_p0167c19聾者語言三昧他又不聞患啞者教伊說又說不得J28nB203_p0167c20且作麼生接若接不得佛法無靈驗。』當時地藏出云J28nB203_p0167c21某甲有眼和尚作麼生接?』沙云:『慚愧。』便歸方丈J28nB203_p0167c22有僧請益雲門門云:『汝禮拜著。』僧拜起門以拄杖挃J28nB203_p0167c23僧乃退後門云:『汝不是患盲。』復喚近前來僧纔近J28nB203_p0167c24門云:『汝不是患聾。』門云:『還會麼?』僧云:『不會。』門云:『J28nB203_p0167c25不是患啞。』其僧有省。」師拈云:「玄沙夜半潑墨地藏日J28nB203_p0167c26午挑燈雲門好肉上剜瘡三人各自擔板山僧今日J28nB203_p0167c27露箇消息也要諸人檢責。」遂豎起拂子:「若向這裏J28nB203_p0167c28薦得即瞎卻你眼。」復擊禪床:「若向這裏薦得即聾J28nB203_p0167c29卻你耳若道總不恁麼即啞卻你口到這裏也須眼J28nB203_p0167c30裏有筋皮下有血始得還會麼鶯囀上林花滿地J28nB203_p0168a01遊三月艸侵天。」下座

晚參:「座主問白馬曇禪師:『祖意教意是同是別?』J28nB203_p0168a03:『如車二輪如鳥兩翼。』主云:『將謂禪門有奇特元來J28nB203_p0168a04不出教乘。』遂回後聞夾山盛化遣小師馳問前語J28nB203_p0168a05山曰:『鏤冰無琢玉之談結艸乖道人之意。』小師回J28nB203_p0168a06似主主乃讚嘆遙禮曰:『將謂禪門與教意不殊元來J28nB203_p0168a07有奇特事。』」師召大眾:「二老恁麼荅話且道是同J28nB203_p0168a08若同鏤冰無琢玉之談若別結艸乖道人之意J28nB203_p0168a09竟如何?」乃豎拂子:「還會麼一把柳絲收不得和煙J28nB203_p0168a10搭在玉欄杆。」

順治九歲在壬辰春王月羅山闔邑緇素檀那請J28nB203_p0171b03師就本寺開堂陞座拈香祝J28nB203_p0171b04聖罷復拈云:「此一瓣香得來久矣幾欲收藏不敢埋J28nB203_p0171b05今次第三回拈出奉為J28nB203_p0171b06天童堂上本師林野大和尚爇向爐中用酬法乳。」J28nB203_p0171b07衣就座維那白椎竟師云:「橫按莫邪斬釘截銕全提J28nB203_p0171b08正令電卷星馳低頭瞥爾沉思早是白雲萬里如有J28nB203_p0171b09不顧危亡者何妨赤身挨拶?」僧問:「千峰疊翠萬壑爭J28nB203_p0171b10虎嘯龍吟即不問象嶺橫煙意若何?」師云:「寒山拾J28nB203_p0171b11得笑呵呵。」進云:「高山流水談真諦箇中音韻許誰聞?」J28nB203_p0171b12師云:「多少知音者。」:「海眾欽從慈霖普澍驅雷掣電J28nB203_p0171b13即不問濟物利生時如何?」師云:「腳跟下痛與一頓。」J28nB203_p0171b14:「恁麼則天不能蓋地不能載也。」師云:「你即今在甚J28nB203_p0171b15麼處?」僧便喝師便打乃云:「若據此事妙嚴渾莫測綿J28nB203_p0171b16密不通風了無名相之端即色聲而顯煥迥絕是非J28nB203_p0171b17之表同美惡以全彰任是通身手眼也則緇素他不J28nB203_p0171b18直饒三世諸佛降生廣設方便極盡言詮談說J28nB203_p0171b19藏十二部一切修多羅仔細檢點將來大似持蠡酌J28nB203_p0171b20歷代祖師間出皆備肘後靈符揭示向上巴鼻J28nB203_p0171b21喝交馳全提正令縱橫施設千七百則公案如將螢J28nB203_p0171b22火爇須彌天下老和尚或擎杈舞笏搬土輥毬或敲J28nB203_p0171b23床豎拂舉古明今也是隔靴抓癢即今或有箇擎頭J28nB203_p0171b24戴角氣宇昂藏的漢有轉天覆地之能具懸河倒海J28nB203_p0171b25之辯到這裏亦未免目瞪口呿而退既然如是J28nB203_p0171b26且道今日羅山闔郡緇素請山僧陞於此座為眾舉J28nB203_p0171b27又作麼生折合?」驀拈拄杖左右顧視:「還委悉麼J28nB203_p0171b28人人鼻孔下頭大箇箇眉毛額上橫。」劃此J28nB203_p0171b29拄杖下座

師誕日眾檀越請上堂:「世尊初生時見箇甚麼便J28nB203_p0171c01能指天指地?」師云:「皇天無親惟德是輔。」進云:「是法平J28nB203_p0171c02無有高下為甚又道天上天下惟吾獨尊』?」師云:「J28nB203_p0171c03者自生分別。」進云:「雲門一棒打殺過在甚麼處?」師云J28nB203_p0171c04歸有地。」乃云:「自來魯鈍懶磨礱四十餘頃刻中J28nB203_p0171c05悔誤踏翻滄海月只贏饒得一身窮。」拈拄杖:「然雖J28nB203_p0171c06如是山僧始從出世以來全憑這箇淨裸裸赤條條J28nB203_p0171c07顛拈倒弄拄地撐天隨緣立業成家在處匡徒領眾J28nB203_p0171c08列列挈挈當陽顯示千差昂昂藏藏直下收歸一致J28nB203_p0171c09拖泥帶水而知儉知豐東擲西拋而毋意毋必勦除J28nB203_p0171c10是非窠臼𠞭碎生死根源揮開佛祖頂𩕳流通正法J28nB203_p0171c11眼藏。」遂召大眾:「且道他利害在甚麼處?」卓拄杖J28nB203_p0171c12金雞唱曉瓊樓夢玉樹花開浩劫春。」下座

觀音誕辰會首陳國美姜明甫領眾請上堂:「三春J28nB203_p0171c14雨過萬彙滋榮蝶舞芳藂鶯啼柳陌綠水溪邊漁人J28nB203_p0171c15鼓棹白雲堆裏樵父謳歌花下啕啕翫賞佳人市中J28nB203_p0171c16隊隊風流公子正當恁麼時普天匝地盡界含生J28nB203_p0171c17一顯發南海普陀大士三十二應之身談說十四無J28nB203_p0171c18畏之法若能於此薦得便見慈風廣被而熱惱清涼J28nB203_p0171c19願海弘深而拔苦與樂塵塵獨露剎剎圓通脫或未J28nB203_p0171c20國祥更向第二頭破二作三去也。」遂豎拂子召眾J28nB203_p0171c21:「還會麼妙湛明心即諸緣而見超色像之表真空J28nB203_p0171c22覺性會群響以聽絕聲聞之塵動靜本乎一源體用J28nB203_p0171c23元非二致無在不在神機豁爾出世間智鑒洞然J28nB203_p0171c24所以雲門大師云:『聞聲悟道見色明心觀世音菩薩J28nB203_p0171c25將錢來買胡餅放下手元來卻是饅頭。』雲門老漢雖J28nB203_p0171c26則人平不語水平不流仔細檢點將來也是平地裏J28nB203_p0171c27大驚小怪且道國祥又作麼生?」乃揮拂子:「風力扶J28nB203_p0171c28帆行不棹笛聲喚月下滄洲。」

天童林野老和尚小祥師拈香指真云:「只這老尊慈J28nB203_p0171c30生緣何殫述示現比丘身無意無必固五坐大名藍J28nB203_p0172a01於吳東浙西十載據猊床而訶佛罵祖斷衲子之命J28nB203_p0172a02根兮虎驟龍驤起濟宗之頹綱兮風飛雷怒不肖當J28nB203_p0172a03遭毒手而今合笑寧堪哭何以故冷水浸冬瓜J28nB203_p0172a04錘蘸生醋。」

浴佛上堂僧問:「冒雨衝風去披星戴月回佛法在甚J28nB203_p0172a06麼處?」師云:「有勞闍黎。」進云:「忽遇冰清水冷時如何?」J28nB203_p0172a07:「通身骨毛寒。」進云:「恁麼則百艸頭邊西來意紅塵J28nB203_p0172a08堆裏佛家風。」師云:「眼睛突出。」乃云:「即心即佛牛皮鞔J28nB203_p0172a09露柱非心非佛銕錘被蟲蛀不是心不是佛不是物J28nB203_p0172a10醋煮須彌山透熟此箇話端遺來多少時也自古至J28nB203_p0172a11縱具銅頭銕額天眼龍睛的并無一人奈何他J28nB203_p0172a12被山僧一一分明花判了也汝等諸人還會麼若能J28nB203_p0172a13于此會得始知大道虛玄真機朗映縱橫自在隱顯J28nB203_p0172a14優游所以世尊初生下時便乃一手指天一手指地J28nB203_p0172a15週行七步目顧四方:『天上天下唯吾獨尊。』後來雲J28nB203_p0172a16門大師云:『我當時若在一棒打殺與狗子喫了貴圖J28nB203_p0172a17天下太平。』世尊大似激濁揚清不覺通身泥水雲門J28nB203_p0172a18雖與指蹤諱跡那知滿面埃塵且道國祥今日又作J28nB203_p0172a19麼生聻下座煩大眾各與當頭一杓湯直教光前絕J28nB203_p0172a20耀古騰今去也。」喝一喝下座

結制示眾。「參禪徒妄想打坐屈身勞性海微風作J28nB203_p0172a22浪拍天高止息重增病縱之轉飄颻須彌入芥子J28nB203_p0172a23解與冰消這裏薦得且居門外止宿艸菴若要入室J28nB203_p0172a24陞堂國祥未敢相許何也靈光不昧萬古徽猷入此J28nB203_p0172a25門來不存知解。」驀拈拄杖卓一卓:「國祥拄杖子聞J28nB203_p0172a26忍俊不禁𨁝跳入諸人八萬四千毛孔裏去也J28nB203_p0172a27著五臟神惡發把毘富那山劈面一摑殃及溈山水J28nB203_p0172a28牯牛痛徹不急向新羅國裏藏身進退逡巡欲隱J28nB203_p0172a29彌露當恁麼時上天無計入地無門因甚如此鼻頭J28nB203_p0172a30繩索盡在山僧手裏。」復卓一卓下座

結制上堂。「三春九夏方新聖制既爾時臨豈可J28nB203_p0172b02違條越例直得四來禪眾於國祥山中龍池寺裏J28nB203_p0172b03包丟向一邊芒鞋脫擲門外高掛缽囊拗折拄杖J28nB203_p0172b04盡十方剎海收入一毛頭許只這一毛頭許也須及J28nB203_p0172b05盡了不可得促百千萬劫於一念頃只這一念頃J28nB203_p0172b06自無生然後據一大圓覺為我伽藍身心安居平等J28nB203_p0172b07性智於中行但行坐但坐機來喫飯倦來打眠語默J28nB203_p0172b08動靜折旋俯仰隨緣自在任運騰騰直教箇箇作一J28nB203_p0172b09員脫灑衲僧豈不暢快生平者哉?」遂驀豎拂子:「J28nB203_p0172b10這箇喚作拂子則頭上安頭不喚作拂子即斬頭J28nB203_p0172b11覓活得失是非一齊拈卻汝等諸人又作麼生會?」J28nB203_p0172b12:「薰風自南來殿閣生微涼。」擊拂子下座

示眾。「真機絕對待蓋色騎聲大道體周圓隨緣隱顯J28nB203_p0172b14利似太阿鋒明於秋空月當陽辨的而玉轉珠回J28nB203_p0172b15外明宗而經天緯地凈裸裸絕承當赤灑灑無向背J28nB203_p0172b16直饒恁麼更須坐斷毘盧頂𩕳放出衲僧巴鼻卷舒J28nB203_p0172b17自在殺活縱橫電光石火猶為鈍滯德山臨濟倒退J28nB203_p0172b18三千與麼即且置秪如虛空粉碎大地平沉拽取東J28nB203_p0172b19洋大海與國祥山鬥額又作麼生道待伊心肯處J28nB203_p0172b20我命通時。」:「修山主示眾云:『具足凡夫法凡夫不知J28nB203_p0172b21具足聖人法聖人不會聖人若會即是凡夫凡夫若J28nB203_p0172b22即是聖人此語具一理二義若人辨得不妨於佛J28nB203_p0172b23法中有箇入處若辨不得莫道不疑好。』」師拈云:「修山J28nB203_p0172b24主雖善作家大似拔貧作富補短裁長國祥即不然J28nB203_p0172b25若凡若聖若知不知若會不會。」驀拈拄杖劃一劃J28nB203_p0172b26盡向這裏百雜碎了也試問諸人還有修山主說話J28nB203_p0172b27分也無?」良久:「參差杉檜煙凝薄重疊峰巒月映微J28nB203_p0172b28莫動著動著則打折你驢腰。」

秀水樓真汶和尚至上堂拈拄杖卓一卓喝一喝J28nB203_p0172b30一喝分賓主照用一時行擊碎蟠桃核得見箇中人J28nB203_p0172c01箇中人既見了更復將何話會昨夜南山虎咬大J28nB203_p0172c02今朝燈籠吞卻露柱頭頭體用全彰處處了無回J28nB203_p0172c03腳踏須彌眼觀四海手提南北意在東西賓則始J28nB203_p0172c04終賓主則始終主賓主歷然通同合轍弟應兄呼J28nB203_p0172c05穿平地為荷葉瞻前顧後筍過西家作竹林然雖如J28nB203_p0172c06且道主賓契合一句作麼生道漆桶相楷成底事J28nB203_p0172c07空噇空即飽膨脝。」便下座

端午示眾。「天中節屆夷風從艾虎而飄香地臘時臨J28nB203_p0172c09靉靆起槐龍而清暑當此之際世上君子切菖蒲以J28nB203_p0172c10泛酒片片皆金林下道人解黍粽以喫茶顆顆是玉J28nB203_p0172c11貴乎信手拈來大都受用不盡所以文殊一日令善J28nB203_p0172c12財採藥:『是藥者採將來。』善財遍觀無不是藥卻來J28nB203_p0172c13白文殊云:『無不是藥者。』殊云:『是藥者採將來。』善財遂J28nB203_p0172c14拈一莖艸度與文殊殊提起示眾:『此藥亦能殺人J28nB203_p0172c15亦能活人。』文殊直截指陳善財當陽拋出可謂收放J28nB203_p0172c16縱橫與奪自在如其會得則千妖百怪不遣自化J28nB203_p0172c17口白舌不除自消倘或未然國祥劃一道靈符念一J28nB203_p0172c18道真言去也。」遂以拂子劃此:「𭊭𠺗嘛耶J28nB203_p0172c19悉唎莎訶。」復卓拄杖:「急急如律令敕。」

因事上堂。「金烏東上月西沉寒暑遷流四序更箇事J28nB203_p0172c21現成如未瞥可憐虛喪好光陰。」遂召眾云:「諸禪德J28nB203_p0172c22如沒溺生死之巨海平陷是非之窠臼不得出頭的J28nB203_p0172c23過在甚麼處奈緣真心忽昧妄見俄興妙覺因斯而J28nB203_p0172c24迷淪塵緣由是而日習致使匍匐三界之長途輪迴J28nB203_p0172c25四生之大苦者蓋為此耳豈不痛哉豈不究哉故永J28nB203_p0172c26嘉云:『嗟末法惡時世眾生福薄難調制去聖遠兮邪J28nB203_p0172c27見深魔強法弱多怨害聞說如來頓教門恨不滅除J28nB203_p0172c28令瓦碎作在心殃在身不須怨訢更尤人欲得不招J28nB203_p0172c29無間業莫謗如來正法輪。』且道如何是正法輪?」驀豎J28nB203_p0172c30拂子:「還會麼若道這箇是有則為增謗若道是無J28nB203_p0173a01則為減謗若道非有非無則為戲論謗若道亦有亦J28nB203_p0173a02無則成相違謗畢竟如何得恰好去青山只解磨今J28nB203_p0173a03流水何曾洗是非?」

晚參:「南泉示眾云:『法身還具四大否有人道得J28nB203_p0173a05他一腰褌。』道吾云:『性地非空空非性地此是地大J28nB203_p0173a06大亦然。』泉不違前語與褌一腰。」師云:「南泉不違前語J28nB203_p0173a07秪見錐頭利道吾贏得一腰褌不見鑿頭方既然與J28nB203_p0173a08且道法身還具四大否?」乃撫掌呵呵大笑:「侍者J28nB203_p0173a09記取這話三十後大行。」

修路小參。「向上一路千聖不傳學者勞形如猿捉影J28nB203_p0173a11東西南北元來四闢六通曲直低昂竟絕纖塵隔礙J28nB203_p0173a12不假修證本自圓成其奈祖庭秋晚法社凌夷心徑J28nB203_p0173a13荒唐人天迥阻致使平地孤堆嵯峨萬仞從來家業J28nB203_p0173a14覿面千山因斯各請直下回光何妨親自出手向無J28nB203_p0173a15方便中屈施方便沒功勳處權立功勳就下平高J28nB203_p0173a16處通途合轍摧邪輔正貴乎實地工夫始見大道坦J28nB203_p0173a17靈機豁爾不勞動步達本還鄉與麼與麼即心於J28nB203_p0173a18境頭頭妙不與麼不與麼了境唯心法法同與麼不J28nB203_p0173a19與麼不與麼卻與麼則且置秪如掀翻四路葛藤J28nB203_p0173a20截當陽一句又作麼生道?」驀拈拄杖劃一劃:「一條J28nB203_p0173a21界破青山色左右逢原得自由。」

解制上堂。「湛寂虛玄蟭螟眼裏橫安大千沙界廓爾J28nB203_p0173a27無跡蚊蠓睫上倒卓百億須彌一毫穿眾穴以無餘J28nB203_p0173a28剎海入微塵而不礙隨緣不變刀斧斫不開不變隨J28nB203_p0173a29冰生於滴水以此安居結夏露柱燈籠咸成正覺J28nB203_p0173a30如此禁足護生蝦蟆蚯蚓悉證圓通便乃高超十地J28nB203_p0173b01不歷僧袛物我一如身心平等直饒與麼若據衲僧J28nB203_p0173b02分上國祥山未肯點首在何謂不見道寒木在握兮J28nB203_p0173b03全機可笑秋水橫按兮半提可滅使八極頂目者不J28nB203_p0173b04自爭衡見斯人兮駕御昂櫱。」復說偈云:「三月護生J28nB203_p0173b05滿一群水牯樂真機打開欄圈無拘束四野山J28nB203_p0173b06田飽復歸。」下座

上元日眾請上堂僧問:「質稟陰陽造化成而今覺得J28nB203_p0173b08亦非真不知末後何歸也請問吾師作麼生?」師云:「J28nB203_p0173b09月光天德山河壯帝都。」進云:「恁麼則幾度白雲空聚J28nB203_p0173b10依前皓月復重圓。」師云:「未是你安身處。」進云:「早被J28nB203_p0173b11學人看破了也。」師云:「眼在甚麼處?」僧便喝師便打J28nB203_p0173b12:「把住驢腮不敢聲恐將佛法作人情誰知日月燈J28nB203_p0173b13明佛倒腹傾腸說與君。」遂拈拄杖卓一卓左右顧視J28nB203_p0173b14:「見不見聞不聞一溪流水帶天沉。」拋下拄杖復舉J28nB203_p0173b15世尊一日陞座文殊白搥:『諦觀法王法法王法如J28nB203_p0173b16。』世尊便下座。」師拈云:「世尊當道掘井用意不臧J28nB203_p0173b17殊臨嶮推人隨邪逐惡且道世尊便下座又明甚麼J28nB203_p0173b18邊事?」良久:「昨夜東君潛布令黃鶯啼出綠楊春。」J28nB203_p0173b19一喝下座

晚參。「珍重諸人聽指麾古今一字兩頭垂山青水綠J28nB203_p0174a06啼狂鳥擬議不來苦怨誰?」復舉:「古德云:『結制得半箇J28nB203_p0174a07月日水牯牛作麼生?』又道:『結制得半箇月日J28nB203_p0174a08分事作麼生?』」師云:「古德恁麼提唱大似此地無金二J28nB203_p0174a09國祥則不然結制得半箇月日粥足飯足睡亦J28nB203_p0174a10四威儀中絕回互且道明甚麼邊事?」驀豎拂子J28nB203_p0174a11。」擲下拂子歸方丈

小參僧問:「大通智勝佛十劫坐道場為甚麼不得成J28nB203_p0174a13佛道?」師云:「溝壑易填人心難滿。」乃云:「時當五月中旬J28nB203_p0174a14晝長夜短殊分屋外鴉鳴鵲噪寥寥山色溪聲杏熟J28nB203_p0174a15桃甜李赤田父耕種薅耘安貧快樂無及輸我林下J28nB203_p0174a16道人若行若坐若臥半睡半醒半昏革蚤通身搜索J28nB203_p0174a17虱乃暗地瞧人蚊子唼入骨髓臭蟲一飽膨咄哉J28nB203_p0174a18國祥瞎禿地不知淺深卻把現成公案拈來白當J28nB203_p0174a19人情這等闡提罪業方得超昇諸人急作方便J28nB203_p0174a20救他速出苦輪。」遂就禪床偃臥:「啊㖿啊㖿相救J28nB203_p0174a21。」時斌雅云:「蒼天蒼天。」師云:「因甚救不得?」雅呵呵大J28nB203_p0174a22師云:「把手將他行不得唯人自肯乃方親。」

示眾。「現成公案美玉無瑕擬欲參尋雕文喪德何也J28nB203_p0183a19聞聲悟道道不是聲見色明心心不是色打開東南J28nB203_p0183a20西北一任豎抹橫該若遇靈利衲僧自然道頭知尾J28nB203_p0183a21所以昔日溈山問仰山云:『《涅槃經四十卷多少是佛J28nB203_p0183a22多少是魔說?』仰云:『總是魔說。』溈云:『後說法無人J28nB203_p0183a23奈子何。』仰云:『慧寂即一期之事未密行履在甚麼處?』J28nB203_p0183a24溈云:『只貴子眼正不貴子行履。』看他父子酬唱略露J28nB203_p0183a25風規可謂獅子哮吼而象王回顧大鵬展翅而丹鳳J28nB203_p0183a26翱翔還會麼?」乃豎起拂子復擊禪床:「水到灘頭連J28nB203_p0183a27月送鳳飛天外帶雲歸。」

魏夫人設齋偕男信官魏雲臺請上堂僧問:「昔日李J28nB203_p0183a29牧主請沼祖於郢州衙內陞座今朝魏夫人領眷屬J28nB203_p0183a30請法於風穴山中且道是同是別?」師云:「今之古之。」J28nB203_p0183b01:「秪如牧主道:『佛法與王法一般。』又作麼生?」師云:「J28nB203_p0183b02之右之。」進云:「與麼則看破了也。」師云:「甚處見得?」僧禮J28nB203_p0183b03師便打乃云:「見聞不昧指似覺源根境雙融打歸J28nB203_p0183b04性地智鑑圓明而照諸群象真空湛寂而迥絕端倪J28nB203_p0183b05觸處卓爾現前靈機了然獨運不是心不是佛不是J28nB203_p0183b06脫體虛玄當恁麼時如靠一座須彌山巍然不動J28nB203_p0183b07拄地參天歷歷無回互明明絕覆藏箇是解脫門J28nB203_p0183b08諸方便力可以滅罪消愆可以修因植福改禾莖為J28nB203_p0183b09粟柄易短壽作長為瑞為祥有規有鑑所以道J28nB203_p0183b10真法身猶若虛空應物現形如水中月且道如何是J28nB203_p0183b11應底道理豁開玅淨圓明眼識取吉祥安樂人。」

若愚領南鄉眾施主請上堂師良久云:「正令J28nB203_p0183b13方坐斷千差合轍一句流通蓋天蓋地迥絕遮闌J28nB203_p0183b14古亙今了無空缺塵塵攝入剎剎圓明莫向外求J28nB203_p0183b15人本具在聖在凡不增不減若僧若俗何淨何塵J28nB203_p0183b16如虛空包含萬象而不被萬象之所隔礙又如蓮花J28nB203_p0183b17從淤泥而生不被淤泥之所染污一段光明體本淨J28nB203_p0183b18無門無傍四大皇皇吾不知其名字強名之曰道。」J28nB203_p0183b19喝一喝下座

除夕小參。「此日去歲今宵烏兔循環光陰倏忽J28nB203_p0183b21尋常放過大似忘懷檢點將來渾如昨夢由是高提J28nB203_p0183b22祖師心印去即印住住即印破不去不住正恁麼時J28nB203_p0183b23要知杷柄盡在當人手裏心不思量過去事亦不希J28nB203_p0183b24望未來法不於現在有所住三際平等一心空寂J28nB203_p0183b25裸裸絕承當赤條條無向背在彼在此亙古亙今J28nB203_p0183b26運翛然隨緣得玅所謂無邊剎境自他不隔於毫端J28nB203_p0183b27十世古今始終不離於當念然雖如是且道窮歲J28nB203_p0183b28盡時又作麼生爆竹一聲除舊臘梅花幾點笑春風。」

解制示眾。「全提祖令鎮寰區倒跨楊岐三腳驢遊遍J28nB203_p0183b30剎塵三昧海須知元在舊茅廬於此薦得直須向高J28nB203_p0183c01高山頂立管教鼻孔遼天深深海底行倩取腳跟點J28nB203_p0183c02無去無來不動不變非彼非此自在自由所以修J28nB203_p0183c03山主云:『二破不成一一法鎮長存若作一二會永劫J28nB203_p0183c04受沉淪。』修山主雖則遍界分身杳無蹤跡正眼觀來J28nB203_p0183c05未免藏頭露面風穴又且不然。」乃舉手:「舒則為掌J28nB203_p0183c06五指參差握則成拳全體獨露且道不舒不握又作J28nB203_p0183c07麼生動止行藏惟自得縱橫收放更由誰?」

泉州召化桋菴和尚至引座。「蕭瑟西風破暑威庭前J28nB203_p0183c17喜鵲噪清暉狼忙掃榻焚香竟報道同門訪翠微J28nB203_p0183c18此之際倒屣迎門顧鑑開懷一笑拱陞揖坐奇逢酌J28nB203_p0183c19茗三盃只知吐膽傾心不覺忘前失後非但主賓一J28nB203_p0183c20更是水乳相投可謂千載一時欣幸無量所以道J28nB203_p0183c21我本無心有所希求法王大寶自然而至。」遂召大眾J28nB203_p0183c22如向這裏見得世法佛法一齊周備其或未然知事J28nB203_p0183c23頭首恭詣召化和尚座前慇懃拜請伏惟慈悲開示。」
