普說喝一喝云:「山僧連日來抖擻尿腸費盡氣力J27nB189_p0027b06不見有箇出格丈夫向山僧未開口前掀翻法座J27nB189_p0027b07山僧打進方丈去一者見得顯聖法社有人二者免J27nB189_p0027b08致山僧向耳裏灌水眼裏攃沙山僧留箇縫罅與你J27nB189_p0027b09尚不會挨身而入更說甚麼獅子頷下摘鈴猛虎口J27nB189_p0027b10中奪食汝既認黃葉為精金山僧不免著水賣米去J27nB189_p0027b11。」以拄杖擊香几三下云:「此三擊有一擊超威音那J27nB189_p0027b12越象帝之先轉南為北易東為西十方諸佛不敢J27nB189_p0027b13正眼覷著歷代祖師亡鋒結舌有一擊蝦蟆吞卻香J27nB189_p0027b14爐峰走入蟭螟蟲眉毛孔裏高聲唱云:『五臺山上雲J27nB189_p0027b15蒸飯佛殿階前狗尿天剎竿頭上煎䭔子三箇猢猻J27nB189_p0027b16夜播錢鐙籠沿壁上天台懷州牛喫禾益州馬腹脹。』J27nB189_p0027b17有一擊乾三連坤六斷震仰盂艮覆碗離中虛坎中J27nB189_p0027b18滿兌上缺巽下斷主山高案山低大盡有三十小盡J27nB189_p0027b19二十九若向這裏簡點得出潦水盡而寒潭清簡點J27nB189_p0027b20不出煙光凝而暮山紫諸兄弟此一著子沒量大人J27nB189_p0027b21到這裏鬥湊不上你諸人今日三明日四半青半黃J27nB189_p0027b22半生半熟奴奴孃孃有甚交涉所以古人云:『此事不J27nB189_p0027b23在語言文字上。』又云:『吾宗無語句亦無實法與人。』J27nB189_p0027b24母未生前會取未舉心意識前會取始有少分相應J27nB189_p0027b25又古德云:『法性不寬波瀾不廣。』蓋為命根不斷所以J27nB189_p0027b26被山僧輕輕拶著便七華八裂手忙腳亂他日如何J27nB189_p0027b27抵得閻老子銕棒古人公案雖是破艸鞋不如赤腳J27nB189_p0027b28走到爽快也須穿破始肯丟下若一串穿過自然左J27nB189_p0027b29右逢原八面受敵兩頭不著中間不居即如今日施J27nB189_p0027b30主送供請說法要若道有財可施水也難消若道有J27nB189_p0027c01法可說開眼做夢記得昔日波斯匿王問佛:『世俗諦J27nB189_p0027c02中還有聖義諦也無若道是有智不應一若道是無J27nB189_p0027c03智不應二一義二義其義云何?』佛言:『大王汝於龍光J27nB189_p0027c04佛所曾問斯義我亦無說你亦無聞無說無聞是名J27nB189_p0027c05一義二義?』這老漢秖可欺他俗漢當面熱謾據山僧J27nB189_p0027c06判斷將平天冠袞龍袍與世尊穿戴了將毘盧帽J27nB189_p0027c07伽梨與匿王披頂了正恁麼時喚作世尊又是匿王J27nB189_p0027c08喚作匿王又是世尊且道如何折合?」豎拂子云:「梅華J27nB189_p0027c09連月和香送玉映清芬進戶來。」

普說。「大道只在目前要且目前難睹欲識大道體寬J27nB189_p0027c11不離聲色言語大眾作麼生領略莫得一往向冊子J27nB189_p0027c12上憶持語言裏卜度見山僧陞座時鼓兩片皮便道J27nB189_p0027c13說佛法及乎山僧下座去其中佛殿山門廊廂廚庫J27nB189_p0027c14又卻蹉過也鴉鳴鵲噪語笑喧譁又不是也正恁麼J27nB189_p0027c15見色處眼又不瞎聞聲時耳又不聾且道目前大J27nB189_p0027c16道在甚麼處昨日吳居士進方丈瓣香作禮云:『弟子J27nB189_p0027c17母親產難身故切思欲報親恩須脫生死因入顯聖J27nB189_p0027c18日則挑水夜則禪思一切所為回向先母。』山僧道:『J27nB189_p0027c19要報母恩今日母在甚麼處?』士云:『不知。』山僧道:『你禮J27nB189_p0027c20拜著。』士便作禮山僧笑云:『我兒你會禮拜耶。』士懡㦬J27nB189_p0027c21而退今日又設茶請山僧為眾開示亦為度他母親J27nB189_p0027c22大眾要見吳居士母親麼?」高聲云:「行堂的擺茶去。」J27nB189_p0027c23久云:「大眾會麼今日居士尊親在你茶杯果碟裏J27nB189_p0027c24神通十八變身上出水身下出火或見大身滿虛空J27nB189_p0027c25或見小身如塵微大復見小小復見大入地如水J27nB189_p0027c26水如地男子身中入正定女人身中出比丘身中入J27nB189_p0027c27正定比丘尼身中出色塵中入正定聲塵中出眼處J27nB189_p0027c28入正定耳處出耳處入正定鼻處出拄杖身中入正J27nB189_p0027c29拂子身中出。」豎拂云:「山僧拂子吞卻乾坤去也J27nB189_p0027c30得四海波騰須彌震動於中人天八部魚龍諸趣驚J27nB189_p0028a01恐無量嚇得帝釋夫人走向東北歡喜園中手攀員J27nB189_p0028a02生樹枝高聲道:『阿呀呀下方世界為甚這等熱鬧?』J27nB189_p0028a03僧道:『夫人不要慌。』」擿下拂子云:「放下便安穩。」

普說。「欲行千里始於初步雲門這裏雖則石路坦夷J27nB189_p0028a05動著則喪身失命有入水不動波舞蹈不生塵者J27nB189_p0028a06出相見。」僧出禮拜師指云:「兩堂人總不如此僧。」僧擬J27nB189_p0028a07師云:「依俙似曲纔堪聽又被風吹別調中。」又僧問J27nB189_p0028a08獨行千里即不問如何是密迻一步?」師云:「樊江未舉J27nB189_p0028a09足時道將一句來。」進云:「鶴出銀籠始自奇。」師云:「去樊J27nB189_p0028a10江遠在。」:「如何是心意識?」師云:「不躡前蹤更置一問J27nB189_p0028a11。」僧舉拳云:「這箇是離心意識。」師云:「可知道。」乃云:「J27nB189_p0028a12心意識參絕凡聖路學白鶴出銀籠猴子過山峽J27nB189_p0028a13恁麼人隨處拈來可以塞斷咽喉若趙常山向百萬J27nB189_p0028a14軍中取勝淮陰侯背水陣上建功到這裏一齊抹過J27nB189_p0028a15縱能運籌於帷幄之中決勝於千里之外堪作甚麼J27nB189_p0028a16吞得栗棘蓬透得金剛圈袖裏藏殺活劍口中有縱J27nB189_p0028a17奪機更向此中覓為人句子崖州萬里諸兄弟切弗J27nB189_p0028a18艸艸佛法須是箇漢子若是朝三莫四總沒交涉J27nB189_p0028a19問趙州云:『學人乍入叢林乞師指示。』州云:『喫粥了也J27nB189_p0028a20?』僧云:『喫粥了也。』州云:『洗缽盂去。』其僧言下大悟J27nB189_p0028a21門拈云:『且道趙州有指示無指示若道有且道趙州J27nB189_p0028a22向伊說甚麼若言無此僧為甚麼悟去?』雲峰悅拈云J27nB189_p0028a23雲門不識好惡大似為蛇添足雲峰則不然此僧恁J27nB189_p0028a24麼悟去入地獄如箭射。』」師云:「趙州向蝎瓮裏蹲踞J27nB189_p0028a25門入蛇阬中坐臥雲峰向虎穴裏遊戲蝎不能螫J27nB189_p0028a26不能毒虎不能措其爪牙果然玅手據山僧判斷J27nB189_p0028a27州也無洗缽盂話雲門縱有畫蛇之筆向甚處添足J27nB189_p0028a28還是雲峰入地獄此僧入地獄?」拍案一下云:「山僧今J27nB189_p0028a29日將三大老頂相光明神通玅用拈向諸人面前J27nB189_p0028a30桶不快。」喝一喝云:「萬山紫翠煙嵐裏濃淡浮沈畫不J27nB189_p0028b01。」

普說。「連日來東語西話打一返觀八萬四千毛孔J27nB189_p0028b03根卓立且道病在何處?」良久:「作賊人心虛。」復云:「J27nB189_p0028b04僧病處惟我自知諸兄們何不自體貼看莫只南去J27nB189_p0028b05北來東奔西討學得些些以當平生及乎被山僧輕J27nB189_p0028b06輕拶著蝦蟆禪也跳兩跳總沒箇絲線脈絡曾記陸J27nB189_p0028b07亙大夫問南泉云:『肇法師也大奇解道天地與我同J27nB189_p0028b08萬物與我一體。』泉指庭前牡丹云:『時人見此一枝J27nB189_p0028b09如夢相似。』審如是則適纔鐘鳴鼓響是夢沈檀龍J27nB189_p0028b10麝是夢膏粱美味是夢見前聽法意下卜度亦是夢J27nB189_p0028b11你莫見山僧與麼舉便道這樣語句是誰不會山僧J27nB189_p0028b12還要問你三十三天帝釋夫人烏紗冠頂何處得來J27nB189_p0028b13山僧為你頌看好支華向夢中看紫翠芳菲色J27nB189_p0028b14到得惺來華又落前三三與後三三諸兄弟你於古J27nB189_p0028b15人平實處不妨領得少覺淆訛便吞吐不下如僧問J27nB189_p0028b16古德:『如何出得生死?』荅云:『無生死你出。』『如何是佛?』『J27nB189_p0028b17心是佛。』『如何是道?』『平常心是道。』有些滋味便去咬嚼J27nB189_p0028b18被他別行一路將黑豆子換卻眼睛就不是也東寺J27nB189_p0028b19會禪師示眾云:『佛無住處說甚即心心如工技兒J27nB189_p0028b20如和技者如何即佛?』復云:『心不是佛智不是道劍去J27nB189_p0028b21久矣汝方刻舟。』諸方尊為東寺禪東寺是馬祖兒孫J27nB189_p0028b22便翻案了也何嘗一往平實將去山僧也有一頌:『J27nB189_p0028b23柳鶯聲春晝長桃華寂寞暗生香誰家曲調吹離恨J27nB189_p0028b24客思凄然空斷腸。』後仰山來參東寺問:『那裏來。』山云J27nB189_p0028b25廣南來。』寺云:『聞廣南有鎮海明珠可收得否?』山云:『J27nB189_p0028b26。』寺云:『珠作麼樣?』山云:『黑月即隱白月即顯。』寺云:『J27nB189_p0028b27不呈似老僧?』手向前云:『昨被溈山亦索此珠J27nB189_p0028b28得無言可對無理可伸。』寺云:『真師子兒善能哮吼。』J27nB189_p0028b29復整威儀進人事寺云:『纔方相見了也。』山云:『恁麼相J27nB189_p0028b30莫當不得否?』寺便歸方丈閉卻門後來仰山舉似J27nB189_p0028c01溈山溈云:『寂子是何心行?』仰云:『也要識得他。』大眾思J27nB189_p0028c02忖看古人通身手眼恁麼樣子問他明珠卻恁麼道J27nB189_p0028c03若是今時便豎指下喝張唇努舌如何及他不費纖J27nB189_p0028c04豪氣力活活潑潑自繇自在何曾思議造作得來J27nB189_p0028c05僧不惜為你一一頌出廣南珠作麼色白月白兮黑J27nB189_p0028c06月黑十二連城換不來海藏龍宮收不得攃向人前J27nB189_p0028c07太狼藉牧童牛背無腔笛住甚麼南泉陸亙J27nB189_p0028c08寺仰山。」拍案一下:「不消山僧一拍百雜粉碎。」顧左J27nB189_p0028c09右云:「你這隊噇酒糟漢又卻如何?」噓一聲云:「自出洞J27nB189_p0028c10來無敵手得饒人處且饒人。」

普說舉拂子云:「摩尼珠人不識。」良久云:「如來藏裏親J27nB189_p0028c12收得。」顧左右云:「漆桶不快諸兄弟你豈不是正因出J27nB189_p0028c13好心學道及至挾袱子擔缽囊上他門戶便見許J27nB189_p0028c14多淆訛這也是你眼裏無筋骨頭軟脆自家不能成J27nB189_p0028c15一往隨人上下不知不覺打入骨董袋裏去築了J27nB189_p0028c16一肚皮雜毒種子口滑如油自稱禪客不知古人苦J27nB189_p0028c17口切誡何曾教你留箇元字腳於胸中但教你休去J27nB189_p0028c18歇去上無攀仰下絕識情枯得盡妄想放得下J27nB189_p0028c19還有甚麼事來諸兄弟你走諸方參請為箇甚麼事J27nB189_p0028c20你莫生死不了腳跟下事不薦祖關不透心地不明J27nB189_p0028c21且生死是甚麼東西把將來我為汝了卻若是腳J27nB189_p0028c22跟下事不著問人又不知腳跟下甚麼線索羇絆著J27nB189_p0028c23更道祖關不透我問你祖師有幾箇關你過去不J27nB189_p0028c24殊不知古人隨人顛倒一時酬唱你去不得立地J27nB189_p0028c25便成隔礙何曾有恁麼事若問心地汝心本自清淨J27nB189_p0028c26用明作麼?」良久云:「雖然如是癡人前不可說夢也須J27nB189_p0028c27打徹一回始得我且問你喚甚麼作心莫是見覺聞J27nB189_p0028c28動用不失昭昭靈靈者是你心麼若此是心因甚J27nB189_p0028c29慶喜尊者認箇見前能推的被世尊呵為虛妄想相J27nB189_p0028c30無始至今認賊為子我再問你秖如二祖求達磨安J27nB189_p0029a01至覓心了不可得與汝安心竟便悟去為甚麼後J27nB189_p0029a02來在婬房酒肆人問其故:『我自調心非關汝事。』J27nB189_p0029a03心既安云何欲調則安者何心調者何物若道一心J27nB189_p0029a04何為有安調二致若說二心有是理乎試定當看J27nB189_p0029a05若心即是佛都莫分別如何馬祖又道:『非心非佛。』J27nB189_p0029a06:『不是心不是佛不是物。』又云:『智不是道心不是佛。』J27nB189_p0029a07即汝自心便有許多安頓不下總之情識用事將意J27nB189_p0029a08路通處認作心性所以東磕西撞不得痛快今時有J27nB189_p0029a09一等於心意識路上略通得去便自稱為了事人J27nB189_p0029a10果罪福曾無畏懼跨腳出眾置箇問頭定要問到座J27nB189_p0029a11上老漢不管語脈亂統將來與你分門別戶某是某J27nB189_p0029a12非懷著許多心行大眾此正所謂生滅心也去道遠J27nB189_p0029a13閻家老子打你鬼骨臀有日在這著子莫說未得J27nB189_p0029a14的人不可造次就是得了還須保任湧泉景欣禪師J27nB189_p0029a15:『我四十年在裏許尚有走作汝等諸人莫開大口。』J27nB189_p0029a16古德云:『見解人多行解人萬中無一若識漏未盡J27nB189_p0029a17道輪迴去在。』又曰:『汝但盡卻今時始得成立亦喚作J27nB189_p0029a18立中功轉功就他去亦喚作就中功親他去。』所以道J27nB189_p0029a19親人不得度渠不度親人。』恁麼譬喻尚不薦取秪管J27nB189_p0029a20亂動舌頭不見洞山道:『相續也大難。』盤山道:『譬如擿J27nB189_p0029a21劍揮空空輪無跡劍刃無傷。』又道:『時中常在識盡功J27nB189_p0029a22瞥然而起便是傷他。』你等向人天眾前欺心亂統J27nB189_p0029a23試將從上古人真摻實履一自反看禪以何為力J27nB189_p0029a24以不欺為力又曰:『若以豪端許言於本末者皆為自J27nB189_p0029a25。』惟古人見徹處方可謂之不自欺也五祖演和尚J27nB189_p0029a26在白雲端處掌磨司一日端至語之曰:『有數禪客J27nB189_p0029a27廬山來詰之皆有悟入處教伊說亦說得有來繇舉J27nB189_p0029a28因緣向伊亦明得去教伊下語亦下得秖是未在J27nB189_p0029a29道如何?』演於是大疑即私自計曰:『既悟了說亦說得J27nB189_p0029a30明亦明得如何卻未在?』遂參究連日忽然有省從前J27nB189_p0029b01寶惜一時放下厥後嘗語人曰:『我因茲出一身白汗J27nB189_p0029b02便明得下載清風。』雪堂行有頌發揮之:『腦後一椎J27nB189_p0029b03喪卻全機淨臝臝兮絕承當赤灑灑兮離鉤錐下載J27nB189_p0029b04清風付與誰?』大眾知麼凡船自南運貨而北謂之上J27nB189_p0029b05自北卸貨而還謂之下載此是夜靜水寒魚不餌J27nB189_p0029b06滿船空載月明歸之意你看演和尚在眾時豈不是J27nB189_p0029b07翹楚猶自甘沒下寮一聞舉著便自不安此正所謂J27nB189_p0029b08不自欺也又道從前寶惜一時放下』,放得下方名到J27nB189_p0029b09則多知多解大不相干故古人心如太虛隨叩而J27nB189_p0029b10就等閒垂一機發一語初不著意你卻盡平生力J27nB189_p0029b11量咬嚼他不破其或旗鎗展布各有回互縱使橫拈J27nB189_p0029b12倒弄事無虛設你既宗旨不明語句不透不曾到古J27nB189_p0029b13人地位硬著牙關要圖排抑堂頭嘔血有分在你道J27nB189_p0029b14利害在甚麼處蓋為情識用事我見未空此是你百J27nB189_p0029b15劫千生受虧底至今猶不知非誠可憐憫我舉則極J27nB189_p0029b16熟公案與你商量看僧問趙州:『如何是祖師西來意?』J27nB189_p0029b17州云:『庭前柏樹子。』僧云:『和尚莫將境示人。』州云:『我不J27nB189_p0029b18將境示人。』:『如何是祖師西來意?』州云:『庭前柏樹子。』J27nB189_p0029b19彼時覺銕觜到法眼處眼問:『承聞趙州有柏樹子話J27nB189_p0029b20是否?』覺云:『。』眼曰:『往來皆謂有此語上座何得言無?』J27nB189_p0029b21覺曰:『先師實無此語和尚莫謗先師好。』大慧拈云:『J27nB189_p0029b22道有此語錯過覺銕觜若道無此語又錯過法眼J27nB189_p0029b23道兩邊俱不涉又錯過趙州直饒總不恁麼別有透J27nB189_p0029b24脫一路入地獄如箭射畢竟如何?』舉拂子云:『還見古J27nB189_p0029b25人麼?』喝一喝大眾聽著要識趙州麼如天普蓋似地J27nB189_p0029b26普擎覺銕觜坐鎮寰中四方納款且道大慧知柏樹J27nB189_p0029b27子落處麼春風隔院桃華煖不許遊人浪品題還有J27nB189_p0029b28六十拄杖三十拄杖打法眼三十拄杖自有一人領J27nB189_p0029b29去在可知山僧這裏賞罰分明又僧問趙州:『狗子還J27nB189_p0029b30有佛性也無?』州云:『。』玅喜老人恒舉此話令學人參J27nB189_p0029c01:『佛語祖語諸方老宿語千差萬別若透得箇無字J27nB189_p0029c02一時透過。』又五祖演云:『狗子勝貓十萬倍。』我常室中J27nB189_p0029c03舉此則因緣問人一味亂下語南泉趙州一等是公J27nB189_p0029c04為甚麼五祖卻恁麼道聱訛在甚麼處若是透得J27nB189_p0029c05斬貓公案我要問你趙州狗子若兩則語一齊穿過J27nB189_p0029c06無絲豪疑慮我要問你五祖演意在何處作此語話J27nB189_p0029c07試聽一頌荒院深村景寂寥有門無奈客來敲子歸J27nB189_p0029c08啼瘦華無主夜靜鐘沈月又高這些關捩子你敢一J27nB189_p0029c09時抹殺麼若是清楚不來打一反觀豈不慚皇殺人J27nB189_p0029c10尚敢大呼小叫妄自尊大驚愚駭俗耶大眾此一絡J27nB189_p0029c11潛心體究看若向這裏掉臂而行方出得生死J27nB189_p0029c12界不能管轄佛也無奈你何灑灑落落作箇大丈夫J27nB189_p0029c13回視山僧所說豈不開眼見鬼。」以拂子直一直云J27nB189_p0029c14我為你一筆勾銷。」

普說師陞座大眾集定師驀云:「討甚麼碗?」即下座J27nB189_p0029c16轉身云:「大眾你既恁麼莫怪山僧潑惡水去也諸禪J27nB189_p0029c17你蹋步向前莫不是問佛麼莫不是問法麼且問J27nB189_p0029c18你喚甚麼作佛喚甚麼作法即今佛在那裏法在那J27nB189_p0029c19卻不去自家理會只管倚門傍戶向人口角邊J27nB189_p0029c20子上築上許多奇言玅句在肚裏所謂泉眼不通J27nB189_p0029c21沙塞了道眼不明知解礙了諸仁者若是此一著子J27nB189_p0029c22在語言文字上為甚麼世尊說法四十九年又有末J27nB189_p0029c23後拈華彼時百萬人天無敢措一辭者是他尋嘗秖J27nB189_p0029c24向語言裏作窠臼知解上去留心所以搆他不著J27nB189_p0029c25葉尊者此時忍俊不禁不覺微笑這也是如空合空J27nB189_p0029c26似水投水世尊方才道:『我有正法眼藏涅槃玅心J27nB189_p0029c27與迦葉。』則知四十九年所說直是正法眼之緒餘耳J27nB189_p0029c28要知諸佛出世遞代相沿不過開發你我本有光明J27nB189_p0029c29喚作正法眼名為涅槃心雲門垂語云:『人人盡有光J27nB189_p0029c30明在看時不見暗昏昏作麼生是諸人光明?』自代云J27nB189_p0030a01廚庫山門。』又云:『好事不如無。』圜悟勤云:『如今人才聞J27nB189_p0030a02舉著光明便去瞠眼云:「那裏是廚庫那裏是山門。」J27nB189_p0030a03喜沒交涉所以道識取鉤頭意莫認定盤星此事不J27nB189_p0030a04在眼上不在境上須是絕知見忘得失淨臝臝赤灑J27nB189_p0030a05各各當人分上究取始得。』雲門云:『日裏來往日裏J27nB189_p0030a06辨人忽然無日月燈光於半夜中未曾到處取一件J27nB189_p0030a07還取得麼?』《參同契:『當明中有暗勿以暗相睹J27nB189_p0030a08暗中有明勿以明相遇。』若坐斷明暗且道是箇甚麼J27nB189_p0030a09所以心華發明照十方剎盤山云:『光非照境境亦非J27nB189_p0030a10光境俱忘復是何物?』你看張拙秀才參石霜有箇J27nB189_p0030a11入處解道光明寂照遍河沙凡聖含靈共我家下邊J27nB189_p0030a12兩句又註得好一念不生全體現六根才動被雲遮J27nB189_p0030a13有者秖認得箇昭昭靈靈底業識他所以道:『要一念J27nB189_p0030a14不生方見全體六根才動便不是也。』下來又道:『斷除J27nB189_p0030a15妄想重增病趨向真如亦是邪。』玅玅看他得底人J27nB189_p0030a16語不同斷除是病趣向亦是病所以道:『取不得舍不J27nB189_p0030a17不可得中恁麼得。』雪竇顯禪師特頌此一則語J27nB189_p0030a18僧不妨隨例打鬨頌云:『自照列孤明為君通一線。』J27nB189_p0030a19僧道:『益州瓠子建州薑。』『華謝樹無影看時誰不見。』J27nB189_p0030a20僧道:『麻黃巴荳砒霜毒藥。』『一時撒來見不見倒騎牛J27nB189_p0030a21兮入佛殿。』山僧道:『若不是閉卻天麥門冬檳榔木澤J27nB189_p0030a22一時闖將進來。』諸兄弟這些葛藤椿子識得則包羅J27nB189_p0030a23目前若不會且向此中透過一番五色線斷自然八J27nB189_p0030a24面玲瓏隨處自在豈不見香嚴在溈山會下問一畣J27nB189_p0030a25問十畣百及乎問著父母未生前道將一句來J27nB189_p0030a26能加畣披簡舊日所見書籍無有一字可讎然後焚J27nB189_p0030a27棄所業往南陽忠國師舊址結茅內究一日除瓦礫J27nB189_p0030a28擊竹有聲凝滯頓然開豁便矢口說箇偈云:『一擊忘J27nB189_p0030a29所知更不假脩持動容揚古路不墮悄然機。』此卻不J27nB189_p0030a30是當年學識來的亦非是知解邊事所以置箇上樹J27nB189_p0030b01公案卻也奇特:『如人上樹口銜一支腳不踏支J27nB189_p0030b02不攀支樹下忽有人問西來意不對則違他所問J27nB189_p0030b03對他又喪身失命。』會中有箇虎頭上座領得香嚴意J27nB189_p0030b04便出來道:『上樹即不問未上樹請和尚道。』香嚴呵呵J27nB189_p0030b05大笑。」師豎起拂子云:「山僧今日上樹去也置將一問J27nB189_p0030b06。」代云:「金香爐下銕崑崙更聽一頌黑貂裘敝出秦J27nB189_p0030b07萬言書上不為難窮到骨頭皮裏出肘懸金印故J27nB189_p0030b08鄉還諸兄弟一等是箇參禪這些圈繢若不打徹J27nB189_p0030b09是鬼家活計如今一箇箇都道大事了畢我且問你J27nB189_p0030b10十方總一箇法身為甚麼南閻浮提不曉得北鬱單J27nB189_p0030b11越事東弗提婆不曉得西瞿耶尼事居下方不識忉J27nB189_p0030b12利天非非想天事在天上亦不知地獄道事?」豎拂子J27nB189_p0030b13:「山僧今日將東勝神洲為西牛賀洲轉南贍部洲J27nB189_p0030b14作北俱盧洲攪作一團混作一塊東西不辨南北不J27nB189_p0030b15西來意即東土意恁麼則上樹也是這箇未上樹J27nB189_p0030b16也是這箇拈華微笑廚庫山門舉著便知光明寂照J27nB189_p0030b17父母未生符到奉行豈不快哉諸仁者莫道山僧恁J27nB189_p0030b18麼舉話便去商量公案此則如何那則又如何大眾J27nB189_p0030b19斷斷乎沒有此則會了那則不會底事昔大慧杲禪J27nB189_p0030b20斥盡諸方禪病道:『一種商量古人公案謂之針線J27nB189_p0030b21工夫又謂之郎君子弟禪正墮在言語文字之最惡J27nB189_p0030b22故痛斥之如商量女子出定話云:「文殊是七佛之J27nB189_p0030b23為甚麼出女子定不得?」:「文殊與女子無緣。」「罔明J27nB189_p0030b24是初地菩薩為甚麼出得女子定?」:「與女子有緣。」便J27nB189_p0030b25下語云:「冤有頭債有主。」又有商量道:「文殊不合有心J27nB189_p0030b26所以出女子定不得罔明無心所以出得。」便下語云J27nB189_p0030b27有心用處還成錯無意時卻宛然。」又有商量道:「J27nB189_p0030b28殊為甚麼出女子定不得?」:「杓柄在女子手裏。」「罔明J27nB189_p0030b29為甚麼出得?」:「如蟲禦木。」又曰:「因風吹火。」又云:「爭奈J27nB189_p0030b30女子何?」邪解甚者至於作女子入定勢出定勢推一J27nB189_p0030c01彈指一下哭蒼天數聲伏惟尚饗拂袖便行之類J27nB189_p0030c02冷地看來慚皇殺人。』玅喜頌曰:『出得出不得是定非J27nB189_p0030c03真定罔明與文殊喪卻窮性命。』你看透關人出語自J27nB189_p0030c04有來由又如大愚芝禪師每舉此問僧莫有對者J27nB189_p0030c05自代云:『僧投寺裏宿賊打不防家。』石門禪師特愛此J27nB189_p0030c06作偈記之曰:『出定只消彈指佛法豈用工夫我今J27nB189_p0030c07要用便用不管罔明文殊。』真淨和尚見之明日陞座J27nB189_p0030c08:『文殊罔明見處還有優劣也無若言無文殊何故J27nB189_p0030c09出女子定不得只如今日行者擊動法鼓同到法堂J27nB189_p0030c10與罔明出女子定是同是別?』良久云:『不見道欲識佛J27nB189_p0030c11性義當觀時節因緣。』亦有偈曰:『佛性天真事誰云別J27nB189_p0030c12有師罔明彈指處女子出禪時不費纖豪力何曾動J27nB189_p0030c13所思眾生總平等日用自多疑。』」師豎拂子云:「大眾J27nB189_p0030c14喜大愚石門真淨在山僧拂子頭上放大光明照徹J27nB189_p0030c15微塵剎土直得山河大地俱時不見雲臺樓閣寶網J27nB189_p0030c16莊嚴毘盧遮那如來據天光臺文殊師利說十信法J27nB189_p0030c17法慧菩薩說十住法門功德林菩薩說十行法門J27nB189_p0030c18金剛幢菩薩說十回向法門金剛藏菩薩說十地法J27nB189_p0030c19普賢菩薩說等覺地行位如來說玅覺果海自受J27nB189_p0030c20用境界還有善財童子自德雲比丘歷五十三善知J27nB189_p0030c21末後於普賢菩薩毛孔中一時頓證佛等剎等J27nB189_p0030c22通等相好光明功德等。」拂一拂喝一喝云:「此一絡索J27nB189_p0030c23向甚麼處去也依舊山是山水是水眾生世界一一J27nB189_p0030c24如然所謂不壞法界性而顯法界理百華落盡啼無J27nB189_p0030c25更向亂紅深處啼。」復拂一拂喝一喝云:「此一絡索J27nB189_p0030c26又向甚麼處去也大眾山僧豈敢恃有超前作略J27nB189_p0030c27圖今人與古人相見將這些老骨董縛作一團放在J27nB189_p0030c28太上老君爐裏煉作一堆灰分與娑竭羅龍王從色J27nB189_p0030c29究竟天雨將下來直得盡大地一艸一葉一塵一沙J27nB189_p0030c30無一處不是這些老骨董恁麼坐則見文殊立則見J27nB189_p0031a01罔明一舉一動大愚石門真淨大慧如影隨形朝莫J27nB189_p0031a02不離開眼也見合眼也見眉毛眼睫間無處不是。」J27nB189_p0031a03一拂云:「狹路桃華風雨後馬蹄何處避殘紅。」

普說。「老僧徹困也。」良久云:「誰人知此意令我憶南泉J27nB189_p0031a05諸兄弟總無一星子事放下去好山僧不得隨你J27nB189_p0031a06顛倒向盤碗裏撒上些藿頭你便道有味卻不識好J27nB189_p0031a07以虛為實殊不知我這裏是木札羹無你綿味處J27nB189_p0031a08是銕釘飯無你咬嚼處是塗毒鼓無你聽聞處是銕J27nB189_p0031a09壁銅墻無縫罅可入處是栗棘蓬無你插足處是金J27nB189_p0031a10剛圈無你透過處自你走諸方參得多少禪菽麥不J27nB189_p0031a11指鹿為馬似箇猴子相似到處攀緣狂象一般J27nB189_p0031a12腳亂走亦似箇羊喫物觸著便安在口裏又似窮措J27nB189_p0031a13大見食好歹築上一肚點胸點頭道:『我會禪。』生大我J27nB189_p0031a14自誤誤人不問青白開口亂道坐繩床底自眼不J27nB189_p0031a15不透古人關捩安有為人手段所以臨濟大師道J27nB189_p0031a16參學之人大須子細如賓主相見便有言論往來J27nB189_p0031a17應物見形或全體作用或把機權喜怒或見半身J27nB189_p0031a18乘師子或乘象王如有真正學人便喝先拈出一箇J27nB189_p0031a19膠盆子善知識不辨是境便上他境上作模作樣J27nB189_p0031a20學人又喝前人不肯放此是膏肓之病不堪醫治J27nB189_p0031a21作賓看主或是善知識不拈出物秖隨學人問處即J27nB189_p0031a22學人被奪抵死不放此是主看賓或有學人應一J27nB189_p0031a23箇清淨境出善知識前知識辨得是境把得拋向阬J27nB189_p0031a24學人言大好善知識知識即云:「咄哉不識好惡。」J27nB189_p0031a25人禮拜此喚作主看主或有學人披枷帶鎖出善知J27nB189_p0031a26識前知識更與安一重枷鎖學人歡喜彼此不辨J27nB189_p0031a27喚作賓看賓。』大德山僧所舉皆是辨魔揀異知其邪J27nB189_p0031a28看他臨濟立出箇賓主彼時善其機者亦不多得J27nB189_p0031a29況至今日此道寥寥玄音絕唱適才有僧問我賓主J27nB189_p0031a30人境因之話及若論主看賓如安石圍碁賭墅破符J27nB189_p0031b01秦百萬直得艸木皆兵如公瑾羽扇綸巾焚赤壁J27nB189_p0031b02櫓一時灰飛煙滅若論賓看主如武王陳師牧野J27nB189_p0031b03兵倒戈如沛公直抵函關子嬰啣璧若論主看主J27nB189_p0031b04彼此主將善別來機雖則旗槍展布對壘交鋒看去J27nB189_p0031b05似有輸贏並不損兵折將若論賓看賓則彼此主將J27nB189_p0031b06非人兩軍步伐不整不審虛實強弱不識進退作止J27nB189_p0031b07兩下亂殺一場各各覆師辱國此等大概諸人也須J27nB189_p0031b08共知莫一向瞞盰亂統秖成一場笑具臨濟之後J27nB189_p0031b09山中興他更將賓主話特出手眼示眾曰:『諸上座J27nB189_p0031b10得胡喝亂喝尋常向汝道賓即始終賓主即始終主J27nB189_p0031b11賓無二賓主無二主若有二賓二主即是兩箇瞎漢。』J27nB189_p0031b12又曰:『我若立汝須坐我若坐汝須立坐即共汝坐J27nB189_p0031b13即共汝立雖然如是到這裏著眼始得若也眼目定J27nB189_p0031b14中間即千里萬里何故如此隔窗見騎馬眨眼便J27nB189_p0031b15過去也直須仔細不得掠虛好。』山僧今日試舉幾則J27nB189_p0031b16話柄貴與首山相見法華舉到瑯琊覺處琊問:『近離J27nB189_p0031b17甚處?』:『兩浙。』:『船來陸來?』:『船來。』:『船在甚處?』:『J27nB189_p0031b18。』:『不涉程途一句作麼生道?』舉以坐具摵一摵曰J27nB189_p0031b19杜撰長老如麻似粟。』拂袖而出琊問侍者曰:『此是甚J27nB189_p0031b20麼人?』者曰:『舉上座。』琊曰:『莫是舉師叔麼先師教我尋J27nB189_p0031b21見伊。』遂下旦過問:『上座莫是舉師叔麼莫怪適來觸J27nB189_p0031b22。』舉便喝復問:『長老何時到汾陽?』琊曰:『某時到。』舉曰J27nB189_p0031b23我在浙江早聞你名原來見解秖如此何得名譒寰J27nB189_p0031b24?』琊遂作禮曰:『某甲罪過。』大眾你看他作家相見J27nB189_p0031b25如是風規有如是進退大慧拈云:『二大士驀劄相逢J27nB189_p0031b26主賓互換直下發明臨濟心髓苟非徹證向上巴鼻J27nB189_p0031b27具出常情正眼未免得失論量。』或者道:『舉公前來J27nB189_p0031b28一據實秖對琅琊末後不合作佛法道理是杜撰處。』J27nB189_p0031b29或者道:『琅琊被他道箇杜撰心中疑惑即時倒戈卸J27nB189_p0031b30挽留舉公咨決此事謂之坐參。』一犬吠虛千猱啀J27nB189_p0031c01蓋由主法者智眼不明疑誤後人殊不知二大士J27nB189_p0031c02激揚若日月麗天龍象蹴踏非驢所堪井蛙醯雞J27nB189_p0031c03焉知宇宙之寬曠乎又如僧問桐峰云:『和尚這裏忽J27nB189_p0031c04遇大蟲作麼生?』峰便作大蟲吼僧作怕勢峰大笑J27nB189_p0031c05:『者老賊。』峰曰:『爭奈老僧何?』雪竇云:『是則是兩箇老J27nB189_p0031c06只解掩耳偷鈴你看此兩人自起自倒彼此干戈。』J27nB189_p0031c07山僧有一頌云:『山裏大蟲山裏吼借你拳頭築你口。』J27nB189_p0031c08大丈夫氣宇如王豈肯參前落後賊賊賊喜的是風J27nB189_p0031c09怨的是雪又如甘贄行者一日入南泉設齋黃檗為J27nB189_p0031c10首座行者請施財座曰:『財法二施等無差別。』甘曰:『J27nB189_p0031c11麼道爭消得某甲嚫?』便將出去須臾復入曰:『請施財。』J27nB189_p0031c12座曰:『財法二施等無差別。』甘乃行嚫翠巖真云:『甘贄J27nB189_p0031c13行者點兒落節黃檗施財何曾夢見?』玅喜舉翠巖語J27nB189_p0031c14:『一等是隨邪逐惡這雲居羅漢猶較些子。』翠巖大J27nB189_p0031c15慧觀風知變裁抑有方只是但見錐頭利不見鑿頭J27nB189_p0031c16黃檗運籌帷幄之中決勝千里之外行者兩度衝J27nB189_p0031c17一抬一捺黃檗坐觀成敗可謂用盡自笑破J27nB189_p0031c18了他人口又一日入寺設粥仍請南泉念誦泉乃白J27nB189_p0031c19椎云:『請大眾為黧奴白牯念摩訶般若波羅蜜。』甘拂J27nB189_p0031c20袖便出泉粥罷問典座:『行者在甚麼處?』座曰:『當時便J27nB189_p0031c21去也。』泉便打破鍋子兔子懷胎蚌含明月三十棒寄J27nB189_p0031c22雪竇六不收看破雲門女媧氏煉石補天秦始皇J27nB189_p0031c23驅山塞海雖然如是三十年後一回飲水一回噎J27nB189_p0031c24如谷泉慈明一見便問:『白雲橫谷口遊人何處來?』J27nB189_p0031c25泉卻乃左右顧云:『夜來何處火燒出古人墳?』你道我J27nB189_p0031c26白雲橫谷我還你赤火燒墳慈明到者裏直得無可J27nB189_p0031c27奈何便裂幅布遮卻面皮呵曰:『未在更道。』谷泉乃作J27nB189_p0031c28虎聲慈明以坐具摵之谷泉接住推置禪床上慈明J27nB189_p0031c29卻作虎聲谷泉大笑曰:『我見七十餘員善知識今日J27nB189_p0031c30始遇作家。』今時據曲彔木底若不具如是爪牙不知J27nB189_p0032a01賓主互換要擒縱臨時豈可得也且斷斷乎不是鬥J27nB189_p0032a02百艸底你一語我一句不問主賓無有合殺方知我J27nB189_p0032a03此法門如龍有翼似虎戴角嬰他不得近他不得J27nB189_p0032a04一盆猛火觸著便燒大方闊步起死回生繼佛慧命J27nB189_p0032a05豈不美哉又如三聖問雪峰:『透網金鱗以何為食?』J27nB189_p0032a06:『待汝出網來向汝道。』聖曰:『一千五百人善知識J27nB189_p0032a07頭也不識。』峰云:『老僧住持事繁。』三聖是將門之子J27nB189_p0032a08處固有家法雪峰是卜商之後善於方人一箇是海J27nB189_p0032a09東青慣打天鵝一箇是金翅鳥擘海吞龍雖然作雪J27nB189_p0032a10峰則易作三聖則難他要從刀鎗林裏過不損一毛J27nB189_p0032a11百花叢中來不沾一瓣始是作家又如巖頭一日參J27nB189_p0032a12德山方跨門便問:『是凡是聖?』山便喝頭禮拜有人舉J27nB189_p0032a13似洞山山曰:『若不是奯公大難承當。』頭曰:『洞山老人J27nB189_p0032a14不識好惡錯下名言我當時一手抬一手捺德山是J27nB189_p0032a15韞玉之璞石巖頭是剖玉之良工始終俱玅秖不當J27nB189_p0032a16持一條斷貫索要量無邊身菩薩身才多少長不免J27nB189_p0032a17被旁人恥笑且道笑箇甚麼笑他是貴介公子打敺J27nB189_p0032a18儺沿門乞丐。』大慧拈云:『猛虎不識阱阱中身死蛟龍J27nB189_p0032a19不怖劍劍下身亡巖頭雖於虎阱中別有透脫一路J27nB189_p0032a20向劍刃上有翻身之機若子細檢點將來猶欠悟在。』J27nB189_p0032a21山僧極愛大慧此一拈時嘗舉以驗人無有愜老僧J27nB189_p0032a22意者但大慧拈底固玅中間有箇絲頭不接處直待J27nB189_p0032a23你五色線斷方才向你道山僧上來一一恁麼批判J27nB189_p0032a24你若向語言上卜度則山僧有沒量罪過若一往不J27nB189_p0032a25疑言句則你有沒量罪過所以道:『識取鉤頭意莫認J27nB189_p0032a26定盤星。』有者道:『但盡今時莫著言語今時若盡更有J27nB189_p0032a27甚事?』山僧道:『你若語句過去不得今時正未盡在J27nB189_p0032a28為一法不明盡是生死根株。』又有強作主宰秖要謾J27nB189_p0032a29過一時所以光陰唐喪虛度一生又不肯潛心體會J27nB189_p0032a30虛心請益是以言不足聽行不足法取次亂道識者J27nB189_p0032b01所鄙可發一歎。」擲拂子下座
